For a five-star hotel, the general service does not fall into this category. They guaranteed that there was a jacuzzi in their room, and we found ourselves having a simple bathtub without even hydromassage. The room is called deluxe...there is no luxury...the infinity swimming pool provides inactive services. A decent rest. Very attentive staff.

What a beautiful hotel, something for everyone. Peace and tranquility for adults, very child friendly if you have kids. Pools galore! Quiet resort with nice walks. To upgrade to half board was pricey so we ate in local restaurants. The only stress was the 2 women allocating tables in the morning for breakfast. Seemed unnecessary and long queues built up. They just didn’t seem to have it under control. The rooms are beautiful. Would definitely love to return as an ideal location for some winter sun and relaxation!

We booked a 2 bedroom sea view room for our family going by the photos online. When we checked in our view was overlooking a car park with the sea on the horizon! After lengthy arguments with managers we moved room the following day. I would advise anyone looking to book here to forget about booking any meal plan. We had the all inclusive package and struggled to book a table at a restaurant at a decent time, we could only get 8.30pm every night despite booking for our whole weeks stay upon arriving! Last night we had the Japanese’s restaurant booked, we sat down at the show grill table to discover that the show cooking wasn’t part of the all include package and would be chargeable (55 euros each for a cup of fried rice with a handful of prawns and a bit of veg) We did ask to be moved to the non show cooking area which was included in our meal plan but told it was fully booked although we noticed that that area was over half empty the whole time we were there! We have also noticed at the other restaurants when arriving for our 8.30pm table that the restaurants were half empty so left wondering why we couldn’t have had an earlier seating. The food at all the restaurants we did eat in were of poor quality and the drinks included were limited. My 9 year old was left complaining of being hungry around 5.30 when restaurants had no service and there was nowhere to get a snack from. The positives from our stay were that the pool area’s are huge so never struggled to get a bed and the views from the larger pool overlooking the sea are amazing. The grounds are well kept, all in all a beautiful setting hence my 3 out of 5 rating otherwise would have been a 1 out of 5. If you could use the hotel as a base and forget about needing 5 star service, hire a car or factor in taxi rides to explore other restaurants then you’ll have a good time. We took a taxi to Fañabe beach and spent the day at a beach club for one of our days. We paid 80 euros for the use of a Bali bed while there which included 60 euros food/drink spend on anything we liked. This was by far the best service we experienced throughout our holiday! It’s our last night tonight and we will be heading out to eat outside the hotel as we are all bored and fed up with the hotels limited food and drink service! We’re disappointed we paid for the all inclusive package here.

Overall an amazing hotel and place. We did 4 nights all inclusive and not much negative feedback at all. Not once were we forced with red level info and from what we experienced we didn't need it. Room was amazing, the staff are brilliant and overall attentive. The place is big, very tidy and clean and the pool and views are brilliant, especially the set over the sea. Local travel is easy, we went out exploring most days. Only slight ****** was waiting for the main buffet area to be seated, but to be fair the staff doing the upmost. All inclusive drinks were great, decent fizz, red wine, beer is beer 😆... a place we could re visit indeed.

Lovely hotel, smelled nice and huge and spacious. Drinks to meet us when we arrived. Pirate pool lovely and warm and very clean. Clean toilets everywhere. Good kids activities and kids club. Not crowded. However, although large, the rooms are dark and worn. The food was poor, warm at best with limited choices for our family who don’t want to eat Indian and Asian for every meal. Need to book if you want to go,to other restaurants in the evenings. Egg station had long queues so the rest of your breakfast went cold. No poolside service at the pirate pool so we buzzed for a waiter at 1pm, by 2pm no-one had showed up. I complained and a waiter arrived at 2.15pm to tell us no ice-cream (go for it yourself 7 minute walk) food only if you pay extra (we were all inclusive) so drinks only. I told him forget it. Lunch is sit down restaurant only for full meal - no snacks or light food unless you want it before 12.30 and then only choice if 6 items. Asked for coffee and tea three times at breakfast before it finally arrived by which time our breakfast was finished. Had free photos taken then had to go back to the concierge twice to get them sent to me. Caterpillar in my daughter’s fruit dish. Ran out of strawberries for strawberry daiquiri then ran out of passion fruit so mango daiquiri only. Ice cream melting in the freezer so server couldn’t serve it! Although a beautiful hotel I would say it’s 4* at best.

A large hotel with an impressive entrance and lovely staff. Our room, although dark, was always clean and comfortable. Considering the hotel was less than half full, it would have been nice to have a room looking out over the lovely gardens. Sadly our view was down over an area with no sunlight and looking at a water area that smelt at times and was full of mould. The ‘Red Club’ was continually pushed in your face and you began to feel a bit like a second class guest. Sad really. As holidays go it was not all bad and the view of the sunset etc was stunning and uplifting. However, the adult pool had old and uncomfortable beds and not enough umbrellas. There really should be one brolly per two beds. When I tried to get a brolly, the young man wouldn’t help, the customer consultant sent me to the pool concierge where I was met by another young man who couldn’t be bothered and had no idea where the concierge was. Not acceptable in a 5 * hotel. We also had to get our own drinks, but in the area next door, waiters were on hand at all times ( red area). The biggest disappointment was the food. Invariable badly cooked and not good. We even paid,as a treat, for a steak dinner. That was even worse with a cold steak and veg. We politely sent it back to then receive steaks that were overdone and burnt. That was taken away and our choice was fish and chicken, not what we expected in a steak restaurant where there was only one steak choice. There also needs to be better lunch choices and f maybe sandwiches, pizza etc. Not everyone wants a cooked meal and there were no light options. Food is a big part of a holiday and it did leave a damper on the experience. A holiday cannot be taken again. It is a time we had and it was very disappointing, especially as it was our first holiday together in 5 years. I think the saddest thing is that there was no effort to make good or an apology with either the food or the pool issues. A brief we will look into the cold steak is not 5* treatment and we have not heard a word. A pity really as the hotel has huge potential.

This hotel is really lovely, the outside areas, the plaza, restaurants and grounds are immaculate and it really does feel like a 5* hotel. The buffet food selection was probably one of the best I have seen and the a la carte were nice (when we could actually get into them). We also ate at Duo (steak) and the service and food here was exceptional! I would highly recommend a visit. We booked and used the bali beds which was a nice treat for us, however, the pool concierge let anyone else use the beds around the pool without booking so it felt like we were paying for a premium service that others were getting free, our wider family have visited this resort before and had a different experience so maybe they were short staffed or something? We would often wait a long time to be served and would have to ring the bell a few times for concierge service which was frustrating but not the end of the world, however, it is these touches that make a hotel 5* and not 4*. Adult pool was lovely and quiet, we also spent 1 day at the infinity pool which was nice but definitely much cooler.

This is our third time back to the hotel and our last . Positives - SOME of the staff were beyond wonderful - Alvaro - the kids loved playing football with him . He was a gem ! The views were beautiful and maintained well . Activities - kept the family entertained - especially star gazing ! Negatives - the hotel couldn’t cope with the volume of people on Easter break ! Queues for breakfast , lunch and dinner - if you weren’t able to book on the ridiculous app ! Another massive let down ! Meals with little ones became stressful . Most days - no watermelon , no croissants - staples I feel for a five star hotel . Coffee ? Tea ? Get it yourself from the machines unless you are red level ! Even then - you get to share it with the pigeons who enjoy grazing ! One day the breakfast buffet was so busy we were sent to another restaurant which had one poor lady working in who couldn’t cope ! Want a sunbed ? Get up at seven am to fight with the rest of the guests ! They claim they have a thirty minute rule but beds were left unattended for hours on end ! Sadly we won’t be coming back as we feel it has massively gone down hill which is a real shame . A lot of money for a stressful week away !

We stayed Red Level Adults only with friends and Teens. We couldn’t fault our stay at all. We booked B&B. It was ideal. The hotel is spotless, breakfast and happy hour were excellent. Staff so helpful and friendly. All in all very successful holiday. We will return.
