This is a small hotel that amazed me. It was renovated from an old villa. I read Ctrip user reviews about delicious Japanese restaurants, so I decided to stay here because traveling in Sri Lanka is very tiring. The best option is to have delicious food near the hotel, and there is no need to charter a car back to the hotel and go out to find food. I stayed in this hotel for a few days, which is owned by Japanese people. The management is very good, and the staff are very high-quality, polite and punctual. They even helped me take my hand that was left in the restaurant back to the room. The passport and cash inside were all intact. There are not so many choices of Japanese food, but the quality of the food is very good! The hotel's hygiene is spotless. It is recommended to install an exhaust fan in the toilet and a self-service laundry room.

We had 2 nights stay at this lovely boutique hotel, it was clean and very nicely presented and breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. All of the staff were friendly and polite. There is a beautiful rooftop restaurant and bar. We didnt eat there but had drinks in the evenings. We walked into the centre through the park

Lovely place to stay actually for our last night in the country. Strong Japanese vibe, tastefully decorated and the staff are really lovely. We had a really nice room with a balcony overlooking the coi ponds. The food in the restaurant is separate but we ate breakfast, lunch and dinner there. Lovely food!!

The staff is super helpful, they would go beyond and more to accommodate the guest. We’ve arrived very late and food was delivered without any hesitation. The room was clean and very spacious, lots of bathroom amenities and beautifully presented toiletries. We have had access to the bamboo garden, which is very nice to stay in the evening.
Breakfast is served at high standard, the food selection is good. We have also had lunch and dinner at their restaurant. They are specialising in Japanese cuisine. The meals were great!
The a**osphere in entire hotel is superb. Didn’t know what to expect, but after a visit we’re blown away!!!

Huge room with a really big room key plus a jacuzzi, Staying in the Executive Room (202). Ring the hotel, got a good offer about -80% off normal price (inclusives taxes and fees, but no breakfast). Had a quick dinner at the japanese restaurant, but sat in the ground floor. Very good food. Big serving portions. Very good and friendly service by the hotel and restaurant staffs. Checked out the breakfast menu in the morning, looks ordinary, didn’t think i missed anything.

Amazing staff!! Very friendly and helpful!! The restaurant (japanese kitchen) is very good We had an amazing and peaceful stay with our 2 year old daughter!! The breakfast is very good but a little expensive especially compared to the local prices

We spent 10 days at the Zylan Luxury Villa. It was a very nice experience. The staff was very professional, courteous and helpful. Tended to all our needs and requests. It is an older and rustic property. We loved the quietness of the villa and area. Only 6 rooms so not to busy or noisy. Wasn’t impressed with the pool. Looked unclean and not cared for. Breakfast menu was very limited, same choices everyday. But everything else was to our satisfaction 100%.
