Always a pleasure to stay at Taj Samudra. Great service and a fantastic Breakfast Buffet. Some of the pricing e.g Fresh Orange juice in the Lobby cafe was extortionate, maybe an oversight

The facilities are old, but the location is very good. The food is delicious. The staff are nice. The price is not too high for a five-star hotel.

I strongly do not recommend it. It was the worst stay in my trip.
When I checked in at the front desk, the hotel customer service made things difficult for me, saying that the online payment was not in place, and asked me to pay again at the front desk, saying that if the payment was repeated, I could get a refund. But in fact, Ctrip had already transferred the money to the hotel, and gave me two order numbers for the front desk to check. As a result, the front desk said that they did not know what the numbers were for, pretended to be stupid and did not want to check, and said that they had to pay again. Finally, Ctrip customer service helped solve the problem, and the hotel let me check in. After checking in, I found that this was an Indian hotel, and there were dirty and poisonous things in the hotel. It is strongly not recommended to stay!
