Meininger Hotel Koln West

Unfortunately, we didn't like the hotel at all. The check-in was unfriendly and when we politely asked if we could get the room earlier (one of the children really needed a shower), we were rudely informed of the check-in time. Luggage storage is only possible for a fee. It says so on the website, but for us - at that price - it's actually part of the service. The lack of service continued in the rooms. You have to order cups for brushing your teeth from reception. The breakfast was rather sad and didn't convince us. It reminded us more of a youth hostel from the "old days". For example, the children missed the hazelnut nougat spread that is usually always available (it doesn't even have to be a brand). Apart from very artificial-looking scrambled eggs, there were no eggs and the selection of cold cuts was limited. Oh yes, there was only a small selection of drinks at the bar and there weren't even berries for the Lilet Berry... All in all, a hotel with no service and no feel-good a**osphere.

Prima hotel. Schoon en vriendelijk personeel buiten de garage kan men ook parkeren in de omgeving zonder kosten. Wij hadden familie kamer groot zat. Tot onze verbazing konden we ook streamen naar een ingebouwde chromecast in de tv dus een prettige bijkomstigheid die nergens vernoemd stond

Raeumlichkeiten grosszuegig. Parkmoegkichkeiten gut Alles sauber und gut gewartet. Lage gut. Zimmer sauber, koennten groesser sein. Alles in allem sehr akzeptabel. Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Moderne Einrichtung. Fruehstueck vielseitig.

Les prix des hôtels étant extravagants dans l'hyper-centre au mois de décembre, nous avons opté pour un hôtel en pérphérie, à proximité de la ligne de tram 1 (station située 10 minutes à pied). L'hôtel dispose d'un parking souterrain géré par Q-Park (à réserver online - 15€ les 24 heures), ce qui permet d'éviter les problèmes de parking en centre-ville. Nous avons payé autour de 172€ (chambre pour 2 personnes, 2 petits déjeuners, 2 taxes de séjour) mi-décembre 2023, ce qui était "bon marché" par rapport aux autres hôtels 3 étoiles de la ville. En temps normal, nous aurions payé un peu moins de 150€ Points forts de l'hôtel : - construction très récente, tout est impeccable - excellente insonorisation des chambres - douche à l'italienne - lit confortable - climatisation silencieuse - petit-déjeuner très correct pour 11,90€ par personne (machine à expresso, viennoiseries, pains variés, céréales, jus de fruits, salade de fruits, yaourts) - parking avec accès direct à l'hôtel - serviabilité du personnel d'accueil (je n'avais pas réservé la place de parking sur le site Q-Park, ils ont effectué les démarches pour moi et j'ai reçu un e-mail avec le QR-code pour sortir du parking) - proximité du tram ligne 1 qui mène au centre-ville (Neumarkt et Heumarkt)
