Beautiful hotel right in the centre of the old part of Colmar. Well equipped and spacious rooms. Breakfast was great with a vide variety of bread and pastry. Friendly English speaking reception. Very nice experience.

Delightfully restored property, only criticism of our room is that the mood lighting in both the bathroom and bedroom was awful for one to put make up on. We stayed 3 nights and on 3rd day bathroom supplies were not replenished. Friendly efficient staff, good breakfast. Wonderful location.

The hotel is very unique and the location is very convenient. There is everything when you go out, but parking is so hard! There is no parking lot. It is too difficult to find a parking lot nearby. The room is super small and the bed is so small that you can't turn over. The view outside the window is pretty good.

Excellent location to visit the old town and take the boat tour. Secure parking across the street. A lovely room on the ground floor. A very welcoming staff. A perfect one-night stay on our way to Italy by car. Colmar is so worth the visit and I sincerely recommend The Colombier.

This is a terrific hotel in Colmar, just on the edge of the old town. Comfortable, well decorated, amazingly helpful staff and great location. About a 15 minute walk to station. Can’t go wrong here and perfect if you are biking. There is a safe place to store bikes. Tasty breakfast.

The hotel is set over 3 buildings close to each other in Petite Venise. Private off street parking is available for €28 per day. Colombier suites have a separate outdoor seating area next to the river. The suite had a very large and comfortable bed, nespresso machine and fridge but no kettle. We would stay here again.

It was a very nice and clean room, but we couldn't stand straight in certain important parts of the room because of the low wood pillars holding the ceiling...we got some bumps in our heads... The stuff was great/helpful and the location is perfect.

We stayed here as a family of four in two rooms for one night. The rooms were beautiful, recently renovated and were spacious. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was very nice. The staff were all very friendly and helpful (first time we have ever had reception phone us just after we had checked in to make sure everything was ok!). Great location and very close to Petite Venice. Would highly recommend and definitely stay here again.

We have traveled around Europe for 3 weeks and stayed at a number of hotel chains including the Hilton. But this is outstanding. The location is perfect right next to the center. Upon check-in we received a warm welcome and fantastic service. The room was large and felt luxurious Comfortable beds and plenty of space. There are plenty of parking spaces outside the hotel.

Very helpful staff. Barbara was a great help with our request for an early breakfast. Great, scenic location, and rooms that were comfortable and clean. I happily recommend this hotel to anyone staying in this area or in Zurich. A train within walking distance provides easy access to Zurich.

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights in April. Colmar was a great base to explore the Alsace area. We were pleasantly surprised at how spacious our room was. Wifi worked well and the double sink in the bathroom was a nice bonus. There is also a convenient entry at the back of the building for easy access to the Rue de la Poissonerie area. Ask the hotel reception for the access code for the door. The location of the hotel was perfect and you could walk everywhere. All the main sights and lots of good restaurants are an easy walk from the hotel. It was nice to be in the heart of the old town as although the area was busy with tourists during the day, it got very quiet in the evenings.

The front desk was very friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable. The hotel was attractive. We splurged and had the breakfast buffet at the hotel one morning and it was quite good. The hotel has a parking area in a garage across the street, but it was very difficult to park there and get in and out as other cars blocked you in and the spaces were small. The first morning we could not get out. The hotel contacted the person behind us and fortunately they were available to move their car so we could get out. The second and third night we were we chose to park in a local parking garage a few minutes walk away where we could get in and out easily.
