Find the Cheap Colmar Hotels

The breakfast was very good, with scrambled eggs, bacon, and less hot food in Europe. The hotel is a bit far from the main scenic spot. It takes about 20 minutes to walk. It is very close to the train station and the train station is two minutes away. But with the navigation, the first place will be to the location of Zhao Wei's Chinese restaurant, which is also a small surprise. If you don't go to Colmar for a special holiday, just want to pass a card, you can choose this one.

It is only about 01 km to the center. It is very convenient and comfortable. Room is clean and the staff are very enthusiastic and friendly. Will com back!

The room is very good and the bathroom is very stylish. It is close to Little Venice and is very close to the hotel within walking distance. Hygiene: Very clean. Breakfast is a small French breakfast. Environment: Quiet Service: Friendly, provided me with my car card in advance.

Rooms are neat and fresh, but very compact. Very friendly reception on arrival for both of our visits. We had very inexpensive bookings which made it good value for the one night stops we had on our return journeys to Italy. I would not want to spend much time in the small rooms.

The location is right in the center of Colmar, right in front of the well-known Christmas tree and toys, the rooms are very stylish, the reception is very attentive, and information was given about the facilities of Colmar. If I went again, I would stay there without hesitation. Thanks.

The Staff at the Rapp Hotel were first class, very helpful, friendly, knowledgeable. It was a pleasure to come back to the hotel, after long walks, to enjoy the pool. The breakfast was plentiful with various choices. The room was comfortable and spacious. The hotel is a small walk from the centre where you will find pretty streets and old buildings. Disappointed with the room for the price, very sad and in need of renovation. The mattresses have seen better days and need replacing. The Shower is actually in the bath and has a 1970s plastic shower-curtain. Also the bath is very slippery and there is no anti-slip mat....dangerous for older guests or anyone. Not sure how old this place is but the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything next door. I cannot see how this qualifies as 3 star Hotel when right next door you have a modern Roisolei 3 star hotel

The almost complete lack of facilities makes this hotel more of a B&B than a four star hotel. The hotel advertised itself as having a bar which is barely true and seem to consist only of a wine vending machine a few tables and chairs. We sadly chose a ‘suite’ in an annex across the road only to find ourselves at the top of two flights of stairs (no lift) in a pokey loft room unwisely divided into two rooms to fit the definition of a suite. Bearing in mind we paid over €260 per night for this room and we’re in regional France, we were not happy. Our unhappiness was compounded by virtually non existent WiFi and an appalling breakfast set up. We arrived for a late breakfast to find every free table covered with other people’s remains. The breakfast offering was more two star than four star with poor coffee, messy jam jars and only two items of hot food. This hotel does not warrant the cost. You’d be better off in the local Ibis.

Family of four (2 adults, 2 kids). Had a family room. Room had a loft with two beds and then a main sitting area with another bedroom adjoining. The pros: - Breakfast: Fresh croissants on your table, buffet spread of yogurt, cereal, fruit salad, two kinds of ham, 3 kinds of cheese, juices. Plenty of food choices for everyone to be happy. - Walk to the walking area of Colmar was short and easy. The cons: - Not a good choice room-wise when it is hot. Was around 90 each day we were there. Room not air conditioned so the loft in particular was almost unbearable at times. Opening the windows, especially in the evening did help cool things down but there are no screens on the windows or terrace door, so that allows a lot of bugs in. They did provide one fan. When we asked for a second, they said we could have it for one night but they had to take it away the second night to give to someone else (which they did). I guess maybe we should have known to ask for it in advance? i don't know. Seemed bizarre to have it committed already somehow. So, our experience at the hotel was greatly colored by the whole temperature situation. - Bathroom is small (not necessarily a negative). Tub is extremely high though. Was dangerous getting out and trying not to slip. Overall hotel is nicely kept, staff is nice, The distance from the train station was a bit far but we knew that when we chose it and we still did the trek back and forth twice, so it obviously wasnt that bad.

From the moment we walked into this hotel we were greeted by an extremely helpful and friendly member of staff. He sorted out our car parking, in a secure underground car park and then sorted all the paperwork. The room was perfection. It was cool, extremely comfortable, extremely quiet, and absolutely spotlessly clean. I really can’t recommend this hotel enough one of the few hotels we have stayed in where there was literally no issues whatsoever. The staff in particular were all extremely friendly and helpful. It’s just a short walk from the very pretty old town centre, where there are multiple excellent restaurants. This will be definitely one of our places for a stopover on the way down to the south of France in the future.
