The people at the front desk are bright, friendly and very nice. The road from the station to the hotel is a little thrilling at night, but I don't think the security is bad. The stay was very pleasant.

This hotel shares a check in desk with Howard Johnson’s and don’t try to check in before 3:00pm. Our room was clean but the pillows might have been stuffed with toilet paper rolls they were so lumpy. There is a lot of debris floating in the pool that is also shared with HJ so you have to cross a parking lot to use it. There is supposed to be a complimentary breakfast but when we asked about it we were told it was take out and we were grudgingly handed a bag with a fruit cup, granola bar, danish, and a soggy bean burrito. They could definitely do better.

Opposite the hotel, there is a golf course in a good environment. The American style of breakfast is quite limited, and there are no waffles that I love. There are eight rows of exits in the second room, so the closure is not too strong and it always feels less secure. The hotel should be a bit old, the facilities are a bit old, but the maintenance is not bad. Overall, OK.

The hotel is a relatively new and advanced motel in the United States, the service is very good, the suite I live in, the bathroom is very big, the son's sofa bed can sleep well. It is the location too far from the Grand Canyon. I am set too late and during the tourist season, I can only live there. By the way, it was a bit hard.

Very nice stay here! I planned for Grand Canyon the next day but the storm warning was on. I asked the staff for advise and they helped a lot. Lester told us to leave around 10am as the condition of snowing should be better, and it was right. We succeed to visit Grand Canyon and have a nice trip. Overall equipment is good, nice neighborhood, nice breakfast. If you want to visit Williams, that’s the choice.

This hotel was incredible. All of the people at the reception were incredibly kind and very helpful during our 3 days here. Susie, who is one of the Grand Canyon specialists and sits near the reception, was so knowledgeable and took 10-15 to talk through all of the details for getting into the park. The hotel itself was very clean and only a 10 minute drive to the South Rim. Next time we visit, we will be staying here again.

My family and I stayed at the NavajoLand Hotel during our trip to Arizona. We needed a one night stay in the north of Arizona as a stop over between activities. Let me be clear when I say it was 5 stars for the level of hotel it is. It isn't a resort or luxury hotel. You won't get points from a large hotel company. It is a budget style hotel. The rate was reasonable for the area. Let me say why it is 5 stars. 1) The staff at the desk were friendly and welcoming. 2) The room was clean and dust free, even in the corners. Though the bathroom door did show signs of wear and tear. 3) The wi-fi was BETTER than the resort we were staying in down by Phoenix. 4) The room had a Keurig coffee maker, which is a step up from the Mr. Coffee machines in most hotels. 4) The room was large and spacious. 5) The room was warm when we arrived, but the little AC unit that could cooled the room to a comfortable level by bed time. 6) Breakfast was included at the restaurant next door. Not a great breakfast but enough calories for us to start the day. One critique, there was only one bar of soap that we had to transfer from the sink to the shower. If you are looking for a good hotel in the area which has done a lot to renovate the rooms, the NavajoLand Hotel is a great option.

GGuest UserWe stayed in the Rim cabin rm 6153 for $235 a night (+a $75 per night ”hold” on your card until released at checkout). It was the most CONVENIENT AND TIME SAVING- if you want to walk to the Hermits Rest (red) or Village (blue) shuttle junction, and also be close to the relatively inexpensive Fountain ($5 grab and go breakfast burrito and hot coffee $4) and the Fred Harvey restaurant in Bright Angel Lodge. Bright Angel also has a covered blue shuttle stop, to the left of the main entrance door at the end of the building. Walking out your door to watch the night sky and the Milky Way over the canyon at 9 or 10 at night is a lifetime experience. We were able to find a parking space right outside our cabin. The best times to find empty spaces are before 3 pm check-in. At 9:30 am there were at least 5 empty spaces in our particular parking area as we were checking out. Nothing is stopping you from parking your car, leaving your luggage in it, and taking advantage of the shuttles for hours before check-in time. Other factors made our stay ”average” on average. The cabin was charming with corner windows which would have overlooked the canyon, except that our view was a little set back compared to some of the other rim cabins, and wooded with pine trees and scrub bushes (including the trunk of a partially dead tree). The view should be described as ”peeks” of the canyon from under one of the pine trees, not ”partial view” of the canyon. The access from the rim onto the covered boardwalk which connects the rim cabins happens to be blocked by railings by our cabin, so it made it more private, as people weren't casually tempted to cut through from the rim and walk past our windows. One of our corner windows was warped and could not be entirely closed or locked. This was concerning when we weren't in the cabin. Each window that opened had screens that locked also. A wand pull for one of the drapes was lying on the window sill when we arrived. The heater worked. The bathroom was very nice and modern-with a separate sink area from the tub/shower and toilet. THERE IS A HAIRDRYER! (I had seen photos on this site of wall hairdryers, and called Xanterra to confirm since hairdryers weren't listed in the room descriptions. Xanterra told me there were NO hairdryers, so I wasted space in my carry-on for one that proved to be unneeded. The one towel holder by the bath covered the toilet paper holder if two towels were put on it to dry, so one of us had to use the towel rack by the sink to dry our towel. There isn't daily room service (which we actually liked). The toilet had a small, high, window that could be opened to the outside walkway for ventilation. The bed was comfortable. Our room had two high intensity lights over the bed, which made for good reading at night. We puzzled over our closet, which had a large ”porch like” affair with two bulbs which almost lighted the room itself-overkill by far. There was a ceiling fan and light that worked well, and a lar

GGuest UserWe have service dogs. Upon checking in, the owner of the hotel and who also owns Country Inn and Rodeway Inn in Page, Az, his name is Deepak, asked us why we have service dogs and what disease we have to have service dogs. We’re too tired to argue with him after driving for 9 hours from Los Angeles. We showed him the service dog IDs and told him the disease we have. The owner, Deepak, even told us that it is illegal to ask what disease we have but he still wants to know since he’s the owner and he claimed that people lie. We were placed on the ground floor because of the service dogs when our room that we booked through booking.com has a mountaintop view and balcony. Our room didn’t have a balcony or mountain view, it was facing the parking lot. We booked for a deluxe king suite. Also, one of the sinks was clogged up. We could not wait for the handyman to do the repair since we have to rush out to our scheduled tour. The breakfast was TERRIBLE. There were no juices, cereal and milk available as advertised. The frozen breakfast sandwich was awful. The muffin was ok. When we asked for breakfast, the girl at the front desk said they didn’t have any. When I insisted to check the back room, she came back with a box full of sandwiches and muffins. I asked her why do you to have to lie and her response was do not give me a bad day. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL. We feel we were defrauded. Very bad customer service. We complained to Booking.com but they did not document our complaint accurately. We’re really disappointed with both the hotel and booking.com.

GGuest UserFirst, the positive: 1. The staff was courteous, professional, and helpful. 2. The outdoor area was well above par. The pool was clean with in-pool loungers (4). Safety equipment and signage posted. Multiple cabanas (6?) were available. Large fire pit with plentiful seating. The pool is 5 feet deep at the center. This is not a pool made for swimming laps, but for lounging. 3. Rooms have an outdoor balcony with a table and 2 chairs. 4. Windows have both a blackout screen and a privacy screen. The window is able to be opened for fresh air and is screened. 5. HVAC was in good order and worked perfectly. 6. In room refrigerator was clean and worked well. Microwave, TV, and phone in room. 7. Breakfast area was spacious and breakfast offered multiple options though I did not avail myself of this amenity. Now, the negative: 1. The room itself was much smaller (king bed ) than expected. Room was cramped and looked nothing like the pictures on the website. 2. The bathrooms were recently remodeled, but the aesthetics are problematic. Why would anyone put wood laminate flooring in a bathroom with a walk in shower that has approximately a 2” inch lip and shower curtain in lieu of doors? You take a shower and the floor gets wet...no bueno. 3. There is a $10 per night service fee charged on registration. The fee is for wifi and other services. I don't recall seeing this posted when I reserved the room, but perhaps I overlooked it. I didn't object paying it, but the fee should be transparent. 4. Housekeeping is performed every 3 days and if you need more towels, etc., simply contact the front desk and they will have what you need brought up. Other: I booked the room for 2 nights but opted not to stay the 2nd night.

GGuest UserBooked this hotel in an emergency when other plans fell thru and got the last room. Great little hotel, expensive-ish, but the best deal in the area. Located about 20 mile from the south rim of the Grand Canyon. Old hotel, with old rooms and decor, but very clean and the room was huge. Staff was great, restraunt was pretty darn good too. Would definitely stay again when visiting the south rim.

GGuest UserIt was a decent room for a motel. Novel and cool and all the things you need in the room. Good firm beds & Lots of blankets too with a 2 blankets on each bed even. Lots of space & a lil mini kitchen. The Only issue was no parking in front of our room but that’s due to other people bringing multiple vehicles I think. And a grab to go breakfast was pretty junky-2 cupcake like mini muffins/juice box and granola bar. Not very healthy. But overall a good stay.

GGuest UserGrowing up in Arizona I have passed by this place numerous times over the decades but had never stayed here before. My wife and I are on post retirement a roadtrip and picked this place because of it's close proximity to the downtown area. First, the place is old and worn and not well kept. The rooms are small and cramped and the furniture is decrepit. The comforter on the bed was old and worn out and had cigarette burn holes in it. My wife had lost something on our trip and called back to the hotel to see if it might have been left behind in the room and found the staff very unhelpful. Distinctly and remarkably so. When she called she was told that they were too busy and that she should call back later. When she did she had to REPEATEDLY tell them when we were there, the room number and what we were looking for. After repeated attempts over several minutes she became disconnected in the call and decided it wasn't worth the effort to try again. The place is a dump. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
