Excellent
GGuest UserStay was comfortable and satisfactory for the overnight stay we needed. Clean rooms, quick check out process, and convenient location. Only complaint was that they still had issues checking in my guests even after I had added them to the booking.
GGuest UserWe missed a flight, were stuck in Chicago, and booked a night here and couldn’t have been happier. Jennifer at the front desk helped with getting dinner picked up and delivered and everyone treated us great. Indian restaurant delivered late.
GGuest UserMechanical issues with a flight caused me to be stuck in chicago for 20 hours. American Airlines put me up in this BW hotel. 1) I didn’t know, but I had to call to get the shuttle sent to pick me up. Fine. 2) needs a new shuttle. That van was a disaster and missing a seat belt and very dirty. Driver was so nice! (Though, it was easy to tell someone was a smoker.. I put a mask on from the smell) 3) lobby needs an update pretty badly. The elevator area and hallways need some new carpet and some better lighting. It felt dingy, but not sketchy. 4) great staff! The gentleman at the front desk made sure I got booked for a shuttle to get back to the airport early in the am. Then he changed out the batteries in my tv remote. Other we’re out and about cleaning and trying to make the entrance less slippery from the rain and ice. 5) location wise, it would have been a 45-60 minute taxi ride to downtown area so I stayed in. I used Uber eats and order a bunch of local food to just hunker down for the night since the weather was cr*p. 6) my double Queen room was fine! Decent and comfy enough. Very clean bathroom and a good setup. Fridge and microwave, coffee and tv. The bed is fine, but I’m pretty picky with mattresses haha I felt safe in my room and the outlets in the lamp worked. Comfortable temperature. Breakfast starts at 6, but my shuttle will leave at 5:30 so I won’t get to try it. The overhead other guests in the lobby say breakfast was good!
YYANGYANGDid not eat breakfast at the hotel. There is a shuttle bus to the airport. The air conditioner and refrigerator are noisy. The bed was comfortable. Service is efficient. Sanitation is done very well. There are gas stations and fast food nearby.
GGuest UserMy 2 friends and I chose this hotel due to its proximity to Oak Park. We wanted a suite with a living area with a sofa bed separate from the bed room. Unfortunately when I pulled out the sofa bed for the first night, I realized the mattress wasn't very comfortable. We were tired and I decided to deal with it. I received a text Saturday morning inquiring about our stay. I texted back that the mattress was not very comfortable on the sofa bed and asked if it could be replaced. I quickly received a text back that said unfortunately they didn't have any new mattresses, but would bring me a second mattress to put on top of the first one. That made the bed much more comfortable the 2nd night. While this hotel needs new sofa bed mattresses, they responded to me quickly and honestly and did what they could to improve the situation. The price we paid for 3 people for 2 nights was very reasonable. There was a hot breakfast both mornings that met our needs. We had dinner on Friday night at the attached Uno Pizzeria. The food was very good and the waiter couldn't have been nicer. We had enough food left over for dinner Saturday night after a late lunch. The room had a microwave and refrigerator. All of us were pleased with our accommodations and would return.
112421229Yes, this is an old property, dating back to the early 60s (and it shows). It was a bit rough around the edges in places, but the room was clean, and I didn't have any issues with noise. Shower pressure was a bit inconsistent at times. No breakfast available, but there are places nearby, such as a pancake place. I didn't try the restaurant for lunch or dinner. For the price I was more than satisfied. Also, Kudos to them for allowing a very early check-in at 10am and for accepting a parcel for me. For solely those reasons I give it 4 stars.
杨杨There is a parking lot very comfortable, that is, there is no elevator on the second floor. I have to put the box up, the whole is not clean, especially the carpet, it looks dirty.
GGuest User1 star is generous, unfortunatley it won't let me give 0. WORST HOTEL EVER, DO NOT BOOK!! Often I see reviews like this and think 'it can't be that bad, it's just a bed to sleep in'.. trust me, it can. Awful from start to finish. RUDE horrible reception staff (female, won't mention name but rhymes with Sia) from check in, non-smoking room STANK of smoke and a musty stale smell. Aeroplanes going overhead every 30 secs (not their fault but impossible to sleep). People smoking ****/arguing outside your door. We asked to move rooms and were told we exceeded the 15min reporting time (this is not stated anywhere and was a blatant lie and how ridiculous that they expect you to get back to reception within 15 mins - we were debating whether we could put up with it but also frantically trying to find somewhere local for dinner before everywhere shut within the hour as we arrived in the vening). Receptionist refused us to move rooms as said they had none available, yet loads on booking.com. Told us to speak to manager and was our own fault for not researching the hotel better (how they could blame us I don't know).. then gave us a fake email and a phone number for reception where manager was not even on shift and it just went back to the miserable girl. Then told us we could move rooms (despite saying they had no spare rooms) only to put us in another smelly one, then finally gave us a better smelling room as a last resort as they refused to refund us (which is just awful) yet there were black hairs all in the bed and we had to sleep fully clothed on top of the sheets and felt sooo dirty and gross!!! We beared two nights there as everything else cost $400+ but I was willing to pay any amount of money to avoid it if they hadn't found us a room that smelt remotely acceptable (which she had clearly just ran around with antibac spray). Please please please do not give these people your money or custom, they are rude, obnoxious, have the worst customer service and I would rather have slept in a dog kennel, outside, in the rain.
YYANThis is a hotel, very close to the airport, considering the next day to return to the plane to catch the plane, specially selected this. Not far from the city, around a quarter of an hour, the gas station is also nearby, convenient. Especially Outlets are nearby, ready to buy and buy. Breakfast is simpler, but it can be full. In short, the price is higher.
