Hyatt Rosemont Near O'Hare

Highly recommend, great service . This is my go to stay every time I travel to Chicago! Food is amazing and great location . Easy to get to and from the airport .

I emailed twice to check on the shuttle details and tell them exactly when we were landing and of course, we waited for the shuttle, but it was at least 25mins late, before we gave up and took a Lyft. No one answered the front desk phone, and the phone number given for the shuttle, doesn’t lead to a person - the line just hangs up. Super frustrating- and the front desk person was unapologetic. Not the best welcome.

Was disappointed because we selected to stay there to use the fitness room bit that room was not available to us during the entire stay because it was under construction supposedly due to a burst pipe

Staff was courteous. Food from restaurant was good. Waitress was very energetic and upbeat. Rooms are large.

When I went to check out they wouldn't give me a receipt. They informed me that since I had made y reservation through ******* I would have to get it from them. I then asked them for a receipt for the $50 of mine that I had to leave as a deposit on my credit card. They tried to tell me that it wasn't a charge it was a hold on my checking account for $50 and that it would go away in 5 TO 7 BUSINESS DAYS(wE ALL KNOW THAT every DAY IS A BUSINESS DAY EVEN SATURDAY AND SUNDAY) ! To which I responded with if I do not have access to the $50 than it is a PENDING CHARGE not a hold. I also let them know that in this modern day of Information Technology that a hold for $50 should be reconciled at the end of day that you check out. This is just another way for a major company to hold onto your money and maybe not even give it back if you're not checking your bank accounts. So after many calls to ficticious managers they put someone on the phone with me who was not a manager but a securtiy officer. I wanted to give them cash for the deposit because this is one of the few business's that is still functioning in the reality before computers by using the line "It's on hold and will be released in 5 to 7 business days. but they refused because they want to hold your bank accounts hostage. So they gave be a blank piece of paper with their logo on it for my receipt for my $50 deposit. My checkout was Saturday 1/6/24. It is Friday 1/12/24 and they just released my $50. No letters left cant finni

It was very inconvenient not having a microwave and the only one was in the lobby especially with two young kids and also not having a pool was upsetting with a family friendly hotel .

I'm giving this hotel a low rating due to the inaccurate information regarding the schedule and arrangements for their airport shuttle. If you call the hotel phone number there is an option for "shuttle information" where there is a recording indicating that the shuttle runs 24 hrs per day, at 15 and 45 on the hour with pickup at the Shuttle Terminal Gate 1 at Chicago O'Hare. Moreover, I received a text message reminder of my stay with that same information. Accordingly, I went to the Indicated pick-up spot on arrival (10:30pm). No shuttle came at 10:45pm; ditto at 11:15pm. At 11:30pm, I decided to call the hotel. Not easy to find the phone number, as Googling gets you the main Hyatt reservations number. When I finally got through to the front desk they informed me that after 10:00pm the shuttle only comes when you call to request it. So basically I ended up waiting more than an hour for the ride from the airport to the hotel.

Disappointed that this hotel and so many choose to charge $25 a day to park in addition to the hotel room. Prices for food (ie. $9 for a yogurt with a little granola and fruit). The buffet items ( pancakes were under cooked and the potatoes were lukewarm at best). Cups were missing some of the time in the lobby by the water jugs.
