NNur Ab JalilThis hotel is great! I loved my stay and completely satisfied with it. I got a first floor room which is super close to the everything. The king suite is very spacious and comfy. The sofa bed is great as well. I like how the management is very careful and helpful in addressing my requests. The best part is it is so close to the bus stop for a bus to NY. Simply walk 2 min, buy ticket at the machine, and wait for bus 320, will get you to the Port Authority bus station right by Time Square. Super convenient and worth every penny!

TTravelloverinusaThe location is good and convenient. There is a PATH next to it to go to the island. There are also many restaurants nearby to choose from. You don’t need to worry about running out of food! ! Highly recommended!

GGuest UserThe location is good, close to the pier to Manhattan, every 20 minutes, very convenient! The room is very spacious and bright, and there is a breakfast downstairs that is better than Manhattan! Watching Midtown Manhattan in the evening is incomparable and stunning.

GGuest UserWe were looking for a place to stay while exploring the parks and urban trails along the Hudson. Great places to take in views of NYC. This location was several miles away but was very reasonably priced. It is still a new hotel and was modern and clean. The staff were all friendly. The man that checked us in offered us a choice of floors and switched us to a room with a view. The lady on duty in the morning was very busy attending to breakfast and people checking out, but was very friendly. The parking lot was fairly full, but the hotel was quiet. The area felt safe. Breakfast was limited to bagels, cereal, yogurt, and fruit. My kids accidentally signed up for the faster internet and we were charged $6.95. I did not take the time to ask about a credit, but something to be careful of. Driving in this area was easy enough but the streets are narrow and the area has lots of steep hills. The hotel parking lot was a bit tricky to access. We would definitely stay here again.

GGuest UserI stayed here with my 15 year old son for 6 nights. We chose to stay in Jersey vs the city due to budgeting reasons. I read the reviews for The Holland hotel and decided to book. The price was right and it seemed like a good location. We were not disappointed. The continental breakfast was excellant every morning with pastries, fruit, yogurt, coffee and OJ. The staff was very helpful to tell us how to find the PATH-which was a very easy walk about 12 min. A burger king next door if you need a quick bite to eat and a liquor store and Target were less than a 15 min walk-just make sure to bring your own bags for Target! There is a nice outdoor area to sit outside and the area is very safe to walk around. We were able to leave our bags when we arrived before check in. The beds were comfortable and we could not hear any of the traffic outside with the air conditioner on at night. My only complaints were the shower water would go from hot to cold sometimes and there is no crosswalk when crossing the street to walk to the PATH. I would definitely stay here again and recomend this to anyone wanting to not spend the high prices in the city! Thank you for accomodating us!

As soon as you leave the hotel, the view of Manhattan from the Hudson River spreads out before you.
The room was beautiful, and I stayed on the 8th floor on the bay side, and the view from the window was amazing!
The lobby is also spacious, making it the perfect hotel to spend some relaxing time.
There's a Whole Foods Market and Starbucks nearby, and you can get to Manhattan quickly, so it was a great place for me to visit New York and not like crowded places.

GGuest UserMy sister helped me to check in earlier in the afternoon because we arrived at JFK 10pm on that day and we don't know why our rooms were put as stay over, thus the cleaners don't provide bed tidying nor changing bedsheets until we inquired.
Though we stayed 7 nights we were only provided drinking bottle water on the first day and the hotel is charging USD3.75 per small bottle of drinking water.
The hotel is strategically located, easy access to restaurants and the bus stops is just beside the hotel.
The receptionist Ms Shantel was very nice and service commendable when we reached hotel 230am. We met her again the day we left and the hotel should have more staff as friendly as Ms Shantel.

EEdmond LStayed 3 nights with my wife and 8 year old boy. So the usual debate, do you pay a much higher price to stay in Manhattan or do you save the money on the hotel and stay at Jersey side? We decided on the latter as it was the holidays and we were planning to drive into Manhattan. (as it was near Christmas/weekend) we manage to find free parking on the streets sometimes... Room itself was sufficient and had a good view of Manhattan. The roads are always busy in and out of Manhattan so do take note. Overall a good stay. Hotel Room: 4 Stars (Overall a comfortable room) Room View: 3 Stars (Good view of a building & Manhattan) Service of Staff: 3 Stars (Standard service, self help with luggage) Lounges/Restaurants: 3 Stars (Average breakfast) Room Service: NA Location: 4 Stars (Relatively quick drive to Manhattan)

GGuest UserThe hotel was nice. The front desk was very helpful. My only problem with Trip.com they don’t pay the hotel. This is the second time I used the website and it was an issue where the hotel charged my credit card for the night I stayed when I had already paid thru Trip.com. So I’m in the process of trying to get a refund. I will not be using Trip.com for future trips. I will book directly thru the hotel site. One more thing the hotel site was cheaper than Trip.com
