Staff were friendly. Room and amenities were clean, check-in/check-out was quick. I was in town for the National Autism Conference, so we experience the events team at work as well. The service for snacks and lunch was great, bathrooms were clean, hotel staff helpful, and technology team were incredible. Great experience!

I like the fact that the laundry room was open 24/7, and it was very available, especially late night
I also like the size of the room, yet I wonder will it be possible to change the location of where the mirror is to another spot (for the 2 queen size room), so as not to be so weird to sit and be staring at oneself from the bed (though I didn't end up sleeping on that side)
Grateful for the presence of notepads, even though I didn't end up using it, and I appreciate the location of the hotel- offering a wonderful, relaxing nature view from the hotel room

FfrankpE5398RUThe facility is ultra-clean and modern. We were greeted at the front desk by a smiling, professional associate who recognized us as Choice Privileges members. The room was excellent. Clean, comfortable beds, the bathroom was ultra-clean and well-stocked. We had a couch area in which to relax. We also had a large-screen TV, a microwave, a safe, a refrigerator, and plenty of closet space. The carpeting was clean and the drapes worked. Don't laugh - we've been in hotels where they didn't work. Breakfast the next morning was well-equipped, and what we would expect. The lady stocking and attending to the guests there was exceptional. I made a point of thanking her directly. Upon checkout the next morning, the desk attendant was also professional and friendly. Believe me, if you're looking for a comfortable night in a very good facility at a reasonable rate in Happy Valley - this is the place. We WILL return here again! Great job to all!

XXIANGI stayed here for three days before and after, and I felt very good. It is convenient for parking, environment and breakfast. There are restaurants and Wal-Mart nearby. About 3 kilometers from the school, you can take Bus.

The Fairfield Inn at State College is merely an average hotel, nothing more. Booked a King Sized bed for 2 nights during Arts Fest in July. Per my usual beef with king sized beds, why doesn't a hotel offer KING SIZED PILLOWS for a king sized bed?!!! I'm paying more for a King, so give me more! No, they provide you the same scrawny, crappy pillows as you'd get with a pull-out. It's downright ridiculous. Otherwise, housekeeping failed to remove used washrags from the shower stall when they serviced the room, and provided just 3 bath towels for 2 adults for a 2-night stay. ***? Breakfast was pretty decent, I'll say that much - but that's about it.

Room 111 was terrible. Smelled like someone a month ago poured a water/pee and nobody dried the room well. We asked to change our room, but it didn’t happen. Manager said that all rooms are booked. After that we had to book another hotel. Because staying in that room was impossible. I called ******* for refund. They contacted to the hotel and man at the front desk said that he offered us another room… It’s unbelievable because it was a lie. We went to the front desk two times and he didn’t offer us another room. Also they denied for refund. After that I called to the hotel. Front desk man started to say that he did offer another room, because someone canceled reservation… I was shocked, how people can lie so easily… So no refund, no excuses. Worst experience with hotels ever. Never will stay in roadway inn again
