Find the Cheap Tunes Hotels

I think there should be thorough cleaning at each guest change. The towels and sheets have many dirty stains. There is little cleaning in the corners of the houses, we always find cobwebs, dead spiders and other animals. In 7 days, we were told that there would be a change of towels every other day and that did not happen. They only changed towels once, and we had to go to reception to ask for new ones. We didn't have a carpet at the entrance to our house, which meant we brought dirt from the street inside. The staff are very helpful and attentive, the pools are wonderful and the location near supermarkets is very good.

Visited on the 23rd July for a week with my partner and 3 year old daughter. The staff at the reception were amazing, the apartments big enough very comfy beds big bathroom , two balconies , air conditioning in bedroom and sitting room which was badly needed as it was very hot, indoor pool and outdoor pools. 24/7 shop and this lovely lady that was Serving such a kind person. Wish I known her name so I would mention her on here. There’s a lot of young people even tho I’m only 32 but this holiday was a family holiday so we weren’t into partying etc , the noise level of people screaming at 5am was out of order ( I know it’s not a hotel fault) thankfully my daughter sleeps thru any loud noise. If your children not sleeping well I wouldn’t go there. NO OFFENCE! - the lifts they need improvement very slow and very little space. - the oven ( I will post a picture) was just beside the door which has the bin in it, but that’s not a problem, the problem was that I couldn’t open the oven because of the door. - the shower not working properly , and would leak the whole time - the toilet water kept making noises 24/7 - the ladies that were cleaning our rooms seemed to be in and out. The only thing they were doing was giving us new towels , changed bedsheets and change bins, they didint hoover the rooms , didint leave extra shampoos. I had to sweep the floor all the time. - the bar was ok I suppose , pity they close the food bar so early and all we could order was pizza for 12€ and unfortunately it’s a frozen pizza which wasn’t great at all. I know I can order take away but would be nice to have good food in place Iam staying. - wish there was a kids club as there was a lot of families in there Maybe one day management will decide to upgrade the apartments. Anyways in overall to me the most important was that my family have good fun, nice and comfy bedrooms and to have good staff. And that’s what we’ve got. Iam seriously satisfied with the staff being so amazing and kind. Thank you so much

Loved this hotel and would definitely go back. The hotel is a wee bit up the hill but walking distance to old town and *****. Taxi rank at the roundabout at the bottom of the hill if you don’t want to walk and about 5 euros from the hotel to either parts of town. Breakfast was excellent with usual wide range of choices: especially liked the porridge. Lunch snacks were also decent but never tried the evening buffet so can’t comment. Pool areas are heat with sunrise and sunset pools. Plenty of beds but may get busy in high season and with kids. Outside and inside bar and games room on the lower ground floor. Gym was very well equipped and quality machines and weights. Only gripe is there is no water in the gym and you have to buy it from either the shop or the bar. It was also warm and the air conditioning didn’t seem to be on. The desk seemed to be manned sporadically as well. There is also an indoor pool, squash court!!! and sauna and steam room: the steam room was very hot to the point it was almost scalding (for me anyway) and hot steam blasting in below your legs: only managed about 30 seconds before I had to come out. Sauna was great though. You only seemed to be able to get to the indoor pool by trekking through the spa area and back up the stairs even though there were doors out to the main outdoor pool area: never saw these doors open but they may be opened in high season. There seemed to be a spa area but this looked closed: again may be open during high season. Rooms were large and plenty of storage. Bed was a bit soft but that is personal taste. Wee on site shop was well stocked but pricy. There is a supermarket at the bottom of the road, about a 5 minute walk. All in all great hotel, very clean and staff were friendly, courteous and helpful.

Fantastic ten stars super attentive staff I was with 3 children and they managed to provide an excellent location for the apartment. I strongly recommend. To be repeated next year without a doubt. Congratulations are all.

A beautiful hotel in a central location - Vila Petra was a perfect place to stay for a week exploring Albufeira. My partner and I stayed in one of the self-catering apartments and found it to be the perfect base for our holiday; it was plenty spacious, maintained meticulously each day by the cleaning staff and felt extremely peaceful and private. We had no problems with any noise or disturbance whatsoever the whole time we stayed. Check in was quick and straightforward - we arrived a few hours before our room was ready and were able to store our luggage in a side room (my only concern would be that this was left unlocked and with the door open) and walk 5 minutes to the main *****, and a further 10 minutes along to the beach. Our room was fully equipped with everything we might need for our stay - apart from an iron and ironing board, but this was quickly brought to our room within 10 minutes of calling down to reception. Although we didn't spend too much time around the hotel pool, the time that we did was very relaxing. There were plenty of sunbeds available despite us not coming down from the room until late morning and the poolside never felt too overcrowded. As a couple who personally preferred spending the days on the beach and exploring the area, this hotel was located perfectly. The nearest beach is around a 15 minute walk away, there were plenty of restaurants and bars in the area surrounding the hotel (I would wholeheartedly recommend the restaurant Made in India, which is less than a 10 minute walk away, for delicious food at cheap prices) and Uber's into the Old Town and surrounding beaches were prompt and cheap - costing around €5 a journey. Despite the hotels proximity to the New Town nightlife, there was no noise or disturbance and it felt lovely and secluded. Overall, we had a perfect week at this hotel and would definitely stay here again on any return trips to Albufeira.

Well equipped self-catering room with nice view of city and sea in distance. Very helpful and friendly reception team. Nice, well kept pool area. Well situated for local Pingo Doce supermarket across the road and other local shops. 5 min walk to The *****, if that's your thing, but we preferred the old town or marina. Lovely long beach. The rep recommended the Uber app, which proved to be fantastic with taxis being super quick to arrive and inexpensive. We wouldn't recommend the historical day trip as most of the day was spent on the coach and not at the places you wanted to explore - car rental or local buses would be a better option. Would definitely recommend the hotel though and stay there again.
