Find the Cheap Albufeira Hotels

I think this place is quite far from been a 5 star W service. The cleaning arrived around 6 pm and also we had a bad situation with the room cards (it stoped working on the 3rd night). On the other hand the room by itself was spectacular, big and bright. F&B service was good as well. To conclude - do not expect perfect work on reception but at least you can enjoy friendly restaurant staff.

I think there should be thorough cleaning at each guest change. The towels and sheets have many dirty stains. There is little cleaning in the corners of the houses, we always find cobwebs, dead spiders and other animals. In 7 days, we were told that there would be a change of towels every other day and that did not happen. They only changed towels once, and we had to go to reception to ask for new ones. We didn't have a carpet at the entrance to our house, which meant we brought dirt from the street inside. The staff are very helpful and attentive, the pools are wonderful and the location near supermarkets is very good.

Me my partner and 2 year old child have stayed here on 6 occasions in the past 15 month's each stay lasting between 1 and 2 weeks. We have stayed in the inatel Praia beach hotel rather than the other sister hotel up the hill. We have never had a bad experience with the hotel room nor with the staff. The breakfast caters to all be it vegetarians meat eaters or children and is quite tasty. The beach is amazing amd the cafe downstairs serves great burgers pizzas salads with prices not going above €7 per meal and large pints of local beers 500ml for €2.50 which is a bonus. The 1 thing I would like to advice people on who may be getting an early flight in or late flight home is check in is 4pm and checkout is 12pm so be mindful. But the hotel does provide a luggage room to leave all belongings in while you kill time. Overall an absolutely amazing place which is extremely child friendly and safe and I would recomend spending that little bit extra to get yourself a sea view or a terrace you won't be disappointed.

Fantastic ten stars super attentive staff I was with 3 children and they managed to provide an excellent location for the apartment. I strongly recommend. To be repeated next year without a doubt. Congratulations are all.

We came here 6 years ago and were looking forward to coming back. Unfortunately we were left disappointed. We checked in and the toilet in our room was broken. It kept running and consequently the tank refilling. We called reception who sent maintenance up quickly. They ”fixed” it but it still wasn't right and then wouldn't flush fully. We asked to swap rooms which they allowed us to do. As a whole the rooms haven't changed in 6 years which was the problem. They're now looking very dated and worn in need of maintenance. The shower was annoying as it constantly moved from right to left whilst on and at the same time down the shower pole. Meaning you had to hold it with one hand whilst trying to wash with the other. The shower screen also leaked so by the time you've managed to have a shower which took twice as long the floor was soaked. I found myself having to mop it up so that we didn't slip. The toilet seat was also broken on one side so it would slip off. All minor things which add up and could be easily fixed. You also have to pay for the safe which seems a bit crazy. We'd come from two previous hotels on the same trip and not once had to pay for the safe and they weren't 4 star hotels like this one. The pool was nice and pool towels are available. Breakfast was good, you have to select a time slot, I guess due to covid. Be warned you can't use the indoor pool unless you bring or buy a swimming hat. The spa area also looked nice. The air con in the rooms worked well and the beds were comfortable, it's frustrating as this hotel could be really nice but lots of little things let it down, all easily resolved with some TLC but all which make it not worth the money paid.

recently spent four nights and five days at this four-star hotel on an all-inclusive package, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. Starting with the accommodation, the room was poorly equipped—there were no drinks in the fridge, not even basic water, which I had to purchase from a nearby supermarket. The doors were broken, and there were no slippers or dressing gowns provided, which I would expect from a four-star establishment. While the breakfast and dinner were decent, the menu overall lacked variety and didn’t stand out. On a positive note, the entertainment was enjoyable, and the staff were friendly and attentive. However, it was inconvenient that the gym was located about seven minutes away from the hotel. Overall, while there were some good aspects, the lack of basic amenities and attention to detail made this stay fall short of my expectations.

The hotel itself is fantastic, whilst it's not near the ”Old Town”, it's not really an issue, there's a tourism train that stops nearby (5 euros each for all day access), or an Uber is maybe 5 euros. The staff were amazing and very friendly and our rooms were cleaned every day (including the floor mopped). We saw cleaners from first thing on a morning until 10 at night, not only in the rooms, but all around the hotel, so I dont understand how one reviewer claims their room was never cleaned. My only slight criticism is the food (we were Bed and Breakfast). Breakfast was adequate, not quite as good as a Travelodge but repetitive which is to be expected. From a british persons point of view, hash browns, tinned tomatoes and black pudding some days would have gone down well. Evening meal was a different matter, we tried it the first night because we arived late and didn't know our way around (26 euros a head) and found it poor value for money. I suspect this may be becuase it is off season and to cut costs they ran a limited menu, however i heard a few people complaining and that's not good for business. The hotel was very very quiet, no entertainment except on the Saturday night when a lady with an amazing voice entertained six of us (yes, it really was that quiet). Prices at the bar were very reasonable, comparable to most other places. The indoor pool was a little chilly, i would have liked it 2 or 3c warmer, but once you started swimming it was fine. All in all, an amazing place and it was a pleasure to stay here and if we ever visit Albuferia again, we would not think about booking anywhere else.
