The hotel is in a very central location in the old town, you can walk anywhere. Very local, and the service is very helpful. The hotel environment is incomparable to that of well-known local hotels. After all, in the old town. It is recommended to stay in this hotel for 1-2 days. Play in the old town. Then go to the hotel to stay for a few days and then play other items.

The location of the hotel is not bad, there are a lot of food on the side, there are Wal-Mart and CVS in 20 minutes walk, the opposite is a big pharmacy, the room is quite satisfactory, the breakfast downstairs tastes good and not expensive.
The hotel room was very comfortable. The swimming pool brought many people during the day and afternoon, and there was a smell of urine by the pool. The location is also good. A taxi to the old town will cost around 10 knives and will not spend too much on traffic. Breakfast was good too!

It was an excellent hotel. The front desk staff was extremely helpful—a special thanks to Alejandra and also to a young guy (how I wish I would remember his name) at the concierge desk- who made my trip memorable by guiding me to do some fun things on this short trip.

DO NOT STAY HERE.
This massive resort feels tired and worn but that is the least of the problems. The pool was completely unusable. It was FREEZING. You cannot get in it at all, it was as though they pumped in frigid water every night. On some extremely hot days during one of the busiest times of year, absolutely no one was in the pool. Everyone was complaining about it and my daughter was heartbroken because it was what she looked forward to the most and after maybe 5 minutes her lips were purple and she had to get out. Then, there was the ”free” breakfast. It is only free if you are willing to wait on a line that is a mile long. People waited for almost an hour just to receive their promised free breakfast. We chose not to. The manager kindly gave us a credit after I complained but turned out that credit could only be applied to other resort restaurants that arent even open for breakfast! (in all fairness, after I complained about that as well, they applied the credit elsewhere). One of the elevators in our wing wasnt working- there was lines just to get on the elevator, nor was the ice machine or vending machine working. Despite the size of the resort, they didnt have the staff or resources to serve all of the guests- It was impossible to get a beach or pool chair, there was a long wait for room and pool service (I waited an hour for ceviche which isnt even cooked), and on our last day they suddenly implemented a bag search policy which resulted in a line just to get to the pool/beach area.
And just to add insult to injury- I was charged $30 for a bottle of sunblock
Some good things about it:
- Very close to Old San Juan
- Staff was friendly, despite their inability to properly serve guests

Generally speaking, the room is large, but the details are very rough, really not luxury, the advantage is that there is valet parking, and the breakfast is also good. PS: The picture on the wall has fallen off.
The front staff was so helpful again! I had a 6:30am flight and the night shift ordered me a cab as soon as I came down to the lobby. The location is amazing, 5 minute walk to the shore and plenty of restaurants all around.

Very new hotel, the room is a little smaller, not far from the beach, surrounded by Hilton hotels and several high-end apartments. Breakfast is arranged in a nearby restaurant. The supply is relatively simple. The hotel is not very convenient for parking. The only car parked at the Hilton Hotel and a shopping mall is expensive. 24 baht per 24 hours, some open parking is cheaper. But nobody was taken care of at night. Several young girls at the front desk have strong communication skills. The ferry to C Island was changed to Ceiba. Fajardo, who was not checked before, fortunately, the exchange was clear before, and almost missed the trip and praised the front desk!

GGuest UserIts a very clean hotel with many places to eat within walking distance as well as a movie theater, grocery store, and pharmacy down the street. It has a nice restaurant and rooftop pool that is very relaxing. The room was clean and had an ice maker, large sink and refrigerator. The only things I would improve are the lighting in the rooms - its somewhat dim if you need to do some work - they only have lamps and one small accent light in the ceiling - at least in the room I was in. The bathroom sink in my room was very small- couldn't hold toothbrush, razor, etc on it like most sinks. Those are small inconveniences - overall it's a very nice place to stay, the staff is very friendly and helpful and the location was great.

SSkylaGAhhh where to start? I had an amazing time at this hostel. I was always greeted in such a friendly way, and the rooms were always cleaned and well maintained by the excellent housekeeper, Edwin. He was so kind and gave great recommendations, and kept the bathroom and room very well maintained and clean. Dinelys and Nina were both so helpful and welcoming, especially since it was my first time in a hostel. I enjoyed my first time so much that I came back for another 4 nights a few days later! And thank God I did, i met some incredible people on my return visit! The rooftop is wonderful, and I felt very at home. The beach is a quick 6-10 minute walk away, and there’s plenty of food and shops around. Will absolutely stay again the next time I’m in San Juan! 🤍🤍
BBryan DockensThe hotel was perfectly located for walking around all over Old San Juan. The place really has character, bringing out its historical setting while providing modern conveniences. The desk clerks were pleasant and helpful.
Regrettably, like many facilities in recent years, daily housekeeping has been dropped, which is troubling in a place where toilet paper must be discarded in the wastebasket, rather than flushed. We left the placard on the doorknob, requesting maid service, but it had no effect. Regardless, the room was clean when we arrived.

GGuest UserOne of the reason we booked your hotel is that we called the customer service and they told us you could keep our luggage for more than one day. However, you didn’t do that. We have four 28 inch suitcases and we need to find another place to keep them even though we have reservation again after two days. That was a terrible experience!

GGuest UserWe had a great stay at the Hilton Garden Inn. It's a short car or bus ride from the eastern-side forts and Viejo San Juan, and they had a lovely pool (the second photo was the view from the pool area overlooking the lagoon) and exercise room. We had breakfast at the hotel during our stay, and the food was solid in terms of both hot and cold options (but unfortunately there wasn't any variety between days); we enjoyed the made-to-order omelets very much. The highlight included amenity of this hotel was the beach umbrellas and chairs at the Playita del Condado, which was a calmer beach and away from the ripcurrents; we were also able to use the pools at the Condado Plaza.
HHANThere are not many Puerto Rico hotels to choose from on Ctrip, and the reviews are limited. Most of them are reproduced on booking. This hotel was chosen at random based on price and location. The hotel is quite old, the rooms are not big and clean, ten minutes drive from the old town, and there are some seaside highway scenery along the way. The hotel has two small swimming pools, which are mainly used to bring baby water. The beach in the hotel is very close, and a nice evening walk. Nearby restaurants, supermarkets, and Star Dad are available. There is a Chinese restaurant opened by Cantonese. The dishes are generally large but expensive, and three people eat ninety dollars quickly. Not recommended if there is no obsession with Chinese food. Breakfast at the hotel is not bad. If the requirements are not high, it is okay to eat enough. After all, the old breakfast is simple. After staying for two days, I got up to prepare for a bath the next day and found that there was no hot water. The parking lot is huge, $ 17 a night.
LLIFANGThe location of the hotel is very good. It is located on Condado Road. There are many delicious restaurants here, including several Chinese restaurants. It is also very close to the beach and casino. The hotel is clean and hygienic, and the front desk service is warm and thoughtful. We moved to a homestay in the ancient city in the next few days, and our stay was not as comfortable and convenient as this hotel. So next time I come to San Juan, I will choose this hotel again. Ctrip
DDermasLa Terraza is a nice boutique hotel in old San Juan and located great. We had a balcony suite, and it was surprisingly clean and spacious. We had to ask for towels each day, but those at the desk were very kind about getting us what we needed. The pool looked like a large infinity in the picture, but really it was a tiny wading pool...the rooftop terrace was lovely and inviting for a midnight rendezvous. We wish the bar was open or the drink machine worked, and it would've been nice.
The breakfast was delightful and homemade...and there was always coffee or tea available.
I would definitely stay here again for its quaintness and location. We had a fine stay.

GGuest UserThe front desk and everyone at this hotel was extremely nice and helpful. My only concern was the fact that the hotel is not actually the comfort inn and has undergone a name change. I was not informed before I arrived and it really was not a good start to my bday weekend. Hotel was in walking distance to many restaurant and bars however why was I not informed about the name change before arrival and why has Trip.com not updated the hotel name in the site as of 1/24/23 and hotel states name changed in 12/15/22. I believe they do this to lure people into to booking a new without their knowledge.
SSeñor GringoGreat, convenient location if U want to explore Santurce/Miramar by just walking. 4 blocks away is Ciudadela which has a 24 hr Pueblo, Planet Fitness, & Mercado La Carreta cafe. Directly across for Ciudadela is a food truck food court called Lote 23 (very tasty, interesting mix). Also don't miss Abracadaba brunch & local coffee spot 787 Coffee. Also couple of good Mex restaurants on Ave José de Diego. U can use this same road to walk to Condado beach 🏖️ area, approx 15 minutes. There are also electric 🛴 on the sidewalks for rent.
Right next to hotel just down hill is La Casona (beautiful garden restaurant & fine dining). Just across street from this,on Avenida Juncos, is Burrillos Santurce; a really tasty & very good prices casual Mex 🌯 spot (order at counter & sit). 3 min walk....
Even though location is excellent, the hotel itself is definitely budget. No significant amenities, small rooms & even smaller bathrooms. Water pressure on low side. Rooms have flat panels & cable (didn't use though). AC as much nicer, quiet split type units, worked very well. Small rooms also much easier & quicker to cool. Kinda old, outdated & funky (but also a lot of character), but if U just need a functional place to crash, the room prices are very very good! $65-80/night vs $400 ?!? Also has 1 self serve laundry wash n dry machines. In lobby is a small cafe-type seating area. Free wifi, but kinda slow. Depending on room location, there can be noise issues. Rooms directly above the Asia di Lima restaurant's exhaust fan (on Calle San Jorge side) should keep windows closed btwn 4-11pm to minimize cooking exhaust odors.
Anyway... would definitely stay here again; especially if the room rates ate below $80/day. And don't really need a lot of fluff; not on vacation to hang out in tiny room or hotel property. If U want the resort experience... Caribé Hilton, Vanderbilt, La Concha, or Sonesta or El San Juan in Isla Verde... but you're paying $300-800/night !!
If U stay here, don't be shy! Get out & walk around as much as possible... you'll be surprised by all the off-the-beaten path cool stuff you'll find. A much more authentic 🇵🇷 experience!
