If you're visiting El Nido make sure you spend time at this wonderful resort. Our accommodation was in El Nido town but we decided to take a day out for some relaxation. Ensure you speak to the lovely Hazel, who will give you details of an amazing day package, which includes lunch, snacks and dinner. Transfer, Kayaking, Zipline, 30 minute massage are also included for a very reasonable price. We literally Ziplined into the resort (almost)! The beach and pool on the beachfront are beautiful and the sunset is not to be missed. In the evening they lit a beach bonfire which just added to a very romantic dinner setting. I simply can't recommend Hazel and Las Cabanas Beach Resort enough. It really was the highlight of our stay in El Nido.

The environment is beautiful, quiet, suitable for vacation, and there are various activities to participate in. The room is not large, basically there is no network signal, it is not suitable for mobile phones, the TV is not good, and it is suitable for the waves every day. Dining is ok, in general, lunch & dinner is only drunk with free white water. Although the juice and soft drink are not too expensive, but the price is more than 3,000 a night, the drinks are still a bit pit! The beach of the hotel can't be launched into the water. There are good beaches by boat, and there are no people, so most of the photos I upload are beaches that go to sea.

The environment is very beautiful, the rooms are large, and the facilities are very user-friendly. For example, there is a flushing faucet at the door of the room, so you can rinse the sand off your feet before entering the house. The service is particularly good, every waiter you meet will greet you warmly. Pay attention to needs and provide services at all times while eating. The only downside is that the food in the restaurant is on the salty side. The three dishes I ordered for dinner were all very salty, and all the salty foods at breakfast were also very salty!

It is a hotel very close to the beach and close to the excursions that leave from the port, many places to dine, nice pool. I had problems when I arrived with the internet connection, TV working badly, hot water, etc; finally, due to insistence, they upgraded me to a bigger room but with cleaning and maintenance problems as well. Forgettable breakfast. I think it is a hotel with great potential due to its location and facilities, but they should pay attention to the details of cleaning, maintenance and so on, instead of naming everything in the hotel (even the toilet tank cover), manage it with Someone who has been in a large hotel chain to see all the shortcomings as today it seems to be run by families with no experience in hotel quality.

Our room was very nice, clean and large. The location of the hotel with the private beach was of course the absolute highlight. The staff was super friendly. Kayaks etc. could be borrowed for free, which is also a big plus.
Unfortunately, there was only boiled coffee at breakfast, you had to pay extra for the rest - I find it really sad at the price. Likewise, the staff is sometimes very slow. When I sit alone at the pool bar and have to wait 15 minutes for my coke + have to point it out again, it's really a shame.

Our room was very nice with a great view however there was an unpleasant odor that permeated the room throughout my stay.
The video screen was difficult to operate and the hotel should have provided a demonstration on how to use it at check-in.
They offered a free service to and from other areas in El Nido and should have continued this service even after the swimming pool was repaired.
They changed the time of the free ice cream and popcorn without much of a prior warning.
I enjoyed the food in the 7th floor bar area. The happy hour 2 for 1's was very nice, and the buffet at breakfast was extremely tasteful!

I understand why reviews of this hotel are so mixed. I first stayed in the newer part - a beautiful room on the 3rd floor, overlooking the beach. The room was clean, new and sparkling. There was a modern key card lock system, a fabulous bathroom and great views. Then, I was transferred to a room in the older section. Here, the bathroom had only a hand held shower head, the grout was discolored and the water didn't drain well, leaving me standing in a puddle while using the sink. The wood furniture and floor was scuffed and worn. The door lock used a key and was a bit flimsy. That said, it had a balcony overlooking the beach that offered the same great views. Avoid the first floor, as others have said, because people walk by on the way to breakfast and there is little privacy. El Nido beach is very busy, with walkers, vendors, even motorcycles, so be sure to get a higher floor.

Quite location just across elementary school, just a few meters walk to the beach and shops and eatery. We arrived 2hrs early and surprised Our room was already ready. Traveled with my family in January 2024. We stayed at this hotel, good location, 5 minutes from the center of El Nido and the embankment where all the activities take place. The hotel staff is responsive and attentive; all requests and comments are responded to promptly. The room is clean, all amenities are there. In general, I recommend the hotel for families with children and not only. Breakfast was included in the stay, there are no complaints about it either, everything was on time and delicious.

A very thoughtfully designed hotel. The sanitary conditions are very good. The hotel staff are very helpful. There is a Uni-President Group restaurant next to the hotel, which has a little bit of all kinds of cuisine and is delicious. The island hopping tour provided by the hotel is also very fun.

LLenamakkarenaFloresitas impresses with a quiet location right by the sea. If you want to switch off for a few days and focus on the essentials, this is the right place for you (if there isn't construction going on next door or the generator is running - both of which were completely bearable). In one of the log cabins (without AC) or (in our case) rooms with air conditioning, the most necessary things are available: a comfortable bed and a small bathroom with shower and toilet. Our room was relatively clean, I don't understand why the mirrors in the Philippines never seem to be cleaned. In addition, the water from the tap is rather brownish and is not recommended for washing. Right in front of the room door: white, fine sand that stretches from the sea over the entire complex. Many hammocks and seating areas invite you to linger. The WiFi throughout the property was the best we've had since arriving in the Philippines. The food was also really, really tasty - Gemma goes out of her way to fulfill her guests' wishes. Speaking of guests: here too you have more peace and quiet - we were apparently the only ones in the complex on two out of three nights (over the weekend). But there are a few things you can do: rent a kayak cheaply at the resort and explore the area yourself, go snorkeling, firefly watching from another resort a few 100 meters away, or book a private boat trip through Ursulas Resort (neighboring resort). The hosts also try to help as best they can, but sometimes there was a lack of mutual communication. But in the end, with their help, we were able to be picked up in the van right from our front door.
All in all, we felt the price was a bit too high for the simple conditions and the remote location (outside of all the hustle and bustle of tourism). But we still really liked it and would come back at any time.

GGuest UserThe tropical garden is beautiful, with the restaurant’s veranda, the pool and the bungalows all around it. Staff are nice, very helpful and polite. The location is also good in Corong corong, with pool and bar on the beach, only five minutes tricycle ride from busy El Nido as well as from beautiful Las Cabañas beach, but with a few nice restaurants and bars nearby, so everything is somehow close. The bungalows around the pool seem good quality, with lovely verandas. The “beach bungalows” are outside the garden, along a lovely path that leads to the beach bar. They are quite basic and a bit rundown, would help to have some extra items of furniture to make them more comfortable, including a shower curtain, but are clean and decent. Perhaps the value for money is better for the garden bungalows than the beach bungalows. Breakfast not the best, but there are quite a few choices as well as fruit. Would come back for the location, the garden and the nice staff. PS great massages available near the pool.

I stayed in the private 6 bed room, it was very cosy and stuffy, each bed had its own fan but it wasn't enough cold air for the whole night. Each bed had a socket and a small cupboard to place your luggage, you might want to bring your own lock. The bed were a good size and soft.
The restaurant had good food but a little pricey. Every night there is an event going on and music, luckily you don't hear it in the rooms. The bathroom/ shower are was clean and spacious, bring your own towel.
One the best things about the Hostel is it has the best beach view, you only have to walk 2 mins and the sea is right there.
However, to get to the hostel you have to walk through the sand to arrive there, if you have a suitcase be ready to carry it across the sand (backpack is easier).
Overall, a lovely place to enjoy and relax for a beach holiday. Sand, sea and sun 🌞🌞🌞

Spectacular view of El Nido terrain at the rooftop restaurant/pool. ”Comfortable Chic” is how I would describe it. Right next door to Friendz, if you can t stand your teenagers to close. They can have their own little vacation from you even if you're together. I just wished the wi-fi was a bit stronger, but hey - I came to El Nido to get my face off the phone. The staff was really accommodating in all aspects of our trips - from shuttle services to bike rentals to restaurant suggestions. They also had the Ferry service office at the mezzanine, so our ferry ride to Coron was ticketed on the spot. I would stay in this hotel again, fo sure.

The whole day was well planned and the staff ensured that everything went smoothly for everyone which is important when there is a lot of other tour groups and boats in the same areas. We have to put in a special mention to the manager of Aqua Travel ,whom went above and beyond to help my wife and I obtain a travel pass ( S pass ) in order to get to our next destination (El nido) We were having all kinds of trouble finding someone that could help us out and she took it upon herself to assist us, which took hours of her time. She was our saviour in a very stressful time and we can't thank her enough. Thanks to Kynie, Mike and his crew, we will definitely be taking another tour with Aqua Travel next time we visit El nido !

We had a balcony in the room plus a really really good view, you can just chill out at the balcony overlooking the beach. The room has sofa inside and super spacious. The breakfast is plated tho. Too bad, there's no pool as stated om the website. But hey, they offer free kayak, so you can do some activity at the beach. There's a lowtide during morning.
Location wise, if you do not want in a crowded place it is recvommendable. If you're a person who loves to party at night, it's just 5mins ride to the town where bars are situated.
Overall, we had a nice stay! 👍😊

EElizaveta VThe hotel is located in quite an isolated place - it is very quiet but the road to the hotel is quite tough: only some of the transport can reach the hotel due to the narrow street which connect the beach and El Nido town. So if you want a ride, you need to ask this hotel to pick you up or drop to the beach (it is free at the daytime). By foot it takes around 15 minutes to get to the town.
I loved the view and the pool, the breakfast is tasty (truly loved the tocino), I enjoyed the service. The room is big and clean.
Definitely recommend if you like a quiet and peaceful atmosphere.

GGuest UserDolarog, a true pet-friendly resort! The resort in itself is superb! It’s like a hidden gem of El Nido and the greatest thing about it is it’s truly a pet-friendly haven! What I like about it is that it’s still in the main island but gives off that exclusive feels. We stayed for 8 days in total at the beachfront villa called Lagen which is a few meters from the beach overlooking their jetti way and that awe-inspiring giant limestone directly in front of our villa. Getting to the resort is other via speedboat or their private access road from Vanilla Beach using a golf car. You know that you’ll have an excellent stay when the owner, Mr. Edu picks you up(or sometimes the son) from Vanilla beach for a more personal touch. How hospitable right? He also has a selection of Italian wines from his cellar as he is Italian, I had Chianti btw over dinner with the beach, stars and the moon as our backdrop. Truly magical! The rooms are always kept clean by the staff who are also very friendly. The main Receptionist, Tata is attentive and very pleasant not to mention very informative. I would take her as my head of staff if only I could! She knows her products and knows when to recommend it, the type of staff who is not in your face all the time to promote an offer. I must say she is one of the nicest resort staff I ever come across with. Food is relatively good. Home cooked and unpretentious. As with any advice when you go to a limited supply area such as El Nido, don’t get your expectations too high on having a western dish so much because obviously, you will have some issues so I only ordered I know locally sourced here like seafood or their filipino dishes like the menudo and chicken curry which are my faves! Filipino breakfast is good. You might wanna carry spare powerbanks as the resort rely on their own generator for electric supply. From 6am-9am and 12noon-6pm there is no electric power. Also, TV is not available (not sure abt other rooms though) but who needs a TV anyway? It’s not like you chose to go to El Nido and sit all day on Netflix and stay indoors duh! I rented a motorbike for 500/day basis and this really helped me in exploring or going out of the resort but the resort offers complimentary shuttle via their golf car to Vanilla beach for free but I wanted to leave and come back on my own time. This is also a 20 minutes walk to Maremegmeg beach by beachside access. Tricycle ride cost between 150 going to town from Vanilla beach btw. Overall our experience is a great 4.5/5 with .5 leaving for improvement on the land access before the Dolarog gate. Also, I’m pretty confident even without any advertisement or active social media promotion, the resort will do just good but let me tell when I posted 1 picture of Dolarog on my socmed, people flocked my DM to ask if I was in another country. GGuest UserMy wife and I stayed her for 3 weeks last year and have already booked it for 6 weeks in February and March of 2024. They are great people to deal with. The Kitchen and gathering spot was made available when we wanted to cook. Although it is an older place the rooms are newly refurbished and all decorated with a different theme. There’s a lot of charm here and you should enjoy your stay. I would have rated it a 5 but the road is a bit of a challenge getting there. It reminds me of a castle that appears out of nowhere and that’s why I like it. It is very quiet and away from the main roads.

Went here to celebrate our anniversary and I was really saving this trip with my boyfriend now my fiancé. I really love El Nido. I was also amazed with the Big Lagoon because the water is surreal. 西西等记忆This lagoon is really a wonderful place, it is worth going, this is simply an amazing place, the sea is like being smoothed out here, very quiet, it is a good place for couples to stay at ease, if you can rent a boat to this place, It was a great cruise!!
Snake Island
