Best for those, who want to disconnect from civilization and spend all day long just chilling in the hammock or long chair at the beach. Friendly lovely family owners. Nice breakfasts (1egg, 3 toasts, butter, jam, coffee or water) good WiFi. Book this hotel if you want a nice vacation by the beach where you can’t really swim because of the low tights but can rent a kayak and go to an island nearby (if no wind) or go kite surfing if there is wind. Diving is also organized here by another hotel. Lovely and lonely cabins right on the beach. Google maps don’t show the exact location. After you arrive at your destination keep walking right to the beach and to the right 300m along the beach. You’ll see it there. But best of all contact the hotel to be picked up as you don’t see the name anywhere. Nice sunrises but no sunsets. 43km away from El Nido. If riding a motorbike chose the road to the north it is longer but it is paved and partly illuminated with lights on the road. No tours are organized from here. There is a restaurant and a massage place on the beach. No city. No big shops or supermarkets. Owners tell you about it as you book. Get mosquito repellent. Even though our bed was covered with the net, there were some holes there and we got a lot of bites. No electricity at night mostly (sometimes there is and sometimes there is no. Couldn’t get our phones charged at night. No hot water. After reading other reviews I was so excited about their kitchen but I got really disappointed when saw from my terrace their boys first picking nose and then touching my dish without even washing hands, also licking the ladle and again touching the food without washing it. I wish I haven’t seen it. Starry nights, palm trees and sounds of the nature!

Floresitas impresses with a quiet location right by the sea. If you want to switch off for a few days and focus on the essentials, this is the right place for you (if there isn't construction going on next door or the generator is running - both of which were completely bearable). In one of the log cabins (without AC) or (in our case) rooms with air conditioning, the most necessary things are available: a comfortable bed and a small bathroom with shower and toilet. Our room was relatively clean, I don't understand why the mirrors in the Philippines never seem to be cleaned. In addition, the water from the tap is rather brownish and is not recommended for washing. Right in front of the room door: white, fine sand that stretches from the sea over the entire complex. Many hammocks and seating areas invite you to linger. The WiFi throughout the property was the best we've had since arriving in the Philippines. The food was also really, really tasty - Gemma goes out of her way to fulfill her guests' wishes. Speaking of guests: here too you have more peace and quiet - we were apparently the only ones in the complex on two out of three nights (over the weekend). But there are a few things you can do: rent a kayak cheaply at the resort and explore the area yourself, go snorkeling, firefly watching from another resort a few 100 meters away, or book a private boat trip through Ursulas Resort (neighboring resort). The hosts also try to help as best they can, but sometimes there was a lack of mutual communication. But in the end, with their help, we were able to be picked up in the van right from our front door. All in all, we felt the price was a bit too high for the simple conditions and the remote location (outside of all the hustle and bustle of tourism). But we still really liked it and would come back at any time.

If you are looking for a quite place to spend few days surrounded by nature in front of the beach and away from the crowds of El Nido, this is your place. I came here manly because of diving with manta rays. This very simple Filipino style hotel is placed in between the only two scuba diving shops in the area. If you look for luxury, don't come here. You only will find simple rooms in front of the beach surrounded by nature with a delicious local run restaurant. The a/c rooms are larger than the fun room I stayed in. But for my backpack standards, the room was good enough for a couple of diving days.

There isn't much choice of accommodation in Sibaltán at the moment and Floresita's was the only one you could book online. After booking, we were also offered the organization of a shuttle service (we then used this for our departure). Unfortunately, the traces of the pandemic are still noticeable and visible throughout Sibaltán and therefore also in the accommodation, but the host friendliness of Myra and Co. quickly make up for this. The bungalows are very simply furnished and are about 12 square meters in size. Suitable for backpackers. Per: - great food - directly on the beach - Willingness to help - powerful fan (there are also bungalows with air conditioner) - no noise from construction sites - Mosquito net on the bed - private bathroom in the bungalow - Breakfast included (with our booking): there is no menu for this, they conjure up whatever you want in Filipino style :) - warm vegetarian dishes were soooo delicious! - the restaurant/recreation area is covered and has a really feel-good character. Great natural furniture. - we were invited to a karaoke evening and that was really fun! :) Cons: - Electricity only from 6 pm - 6 am (pandemic) - Water not really clear (pandemic) - Beds a bit small - lots of ants - no WiFi (not even with SmartBro) Value for money: 8.5 out of 10 (We had booked 1 night and the next day we moved to the better rated accommodation next door for 2 nights. After the first night there we went back to Floresita's!!!)
