At my parents' recommendation, I stayed in a room with a bed and an open-air bath. It's been a while since I've been to Yugawara, but I realized once again that it's easier to access than Hakone, especially the Gora area. The old kanji for camellia is written as ``umi pomegranate,'' and there are motifs of sea pomegranate flowers all over the hotel, and there are many types of sea pomegranate trees planted in the garden outside. If you go up the road outside the entrance of the inn, you will find a walking route along the river. It's a bit of a tough slope for people with bad legs, but I imagine it's spectacular during the season of sea pomegranates, autumn leaves, and cherry blossoms. The inn's gardener took care of such a large promenade, so I think it is well maintained. The room was spacious, and the koi pond and open-air bath in the garden were spacious and the temperature was just right. The bed was comfortable and I had a choice of pillows. Perhaps the head chef and I have the same tastes for the morning and evening meals, but overall the soup was light and elegant, and the food was as delicious as I expected. I wanted my American husband to understand how delicious this was. Nakai-san's service was also good. We made rice balls with the leftover rice from dinner. I was able to enjoy the sake tasting and Haggen-Dazs ice cream in the lounge near the public bath, which made me feel good. When I checked out, I forgot to pick up the item I bought at the souvenir shop, so I called to check on it after I got home, and they sent it to me along with a polite letter. This is a cute sea pomegranate coaster, and I will use it with care. thank you very much. At my parents' recommendation, I stayed in a room with beds and an open-air bath. I saw an inn's gardener taking care of such a large garden, it must be well maintained all year around. The room was spacious, and the koi pond and open-air bath in the garden were elegant and serene. The bath temperature was just right as well. beds were comfortable and I had a choice of pillows. Perhaps the head chef and I have the same taste buds, wonderful ”dashi” umami, and lightly salted meals of traditional Japanese ”Kaiseki” dinner and breakfast were elegant and as delicious as I expected . It was a delighted experience for my American husband to share and understand this delicate taste. Nakai-san's service was also professional. It was very nice of her to have made a rice ball with the leftover rice from dinner. It was a nice extra touch to serve Japanese Sake and Haggen-Dazs ice cream in the lounge next to the grand bath. First of all, it is embarrassing to have been guided to the 3rd floor of the building only by stairs. It is inconvenient to go to the bath, and the handrail on the stairs from the 2nd floor to the 3rd floor is not installed on the left side when going down, which is dangerous. refrigerator. Small items include alcohol and mineral water. In the freezer at the top of the same warehouse, there was leftover food from the ice cream monaka of a guest who had stayed there before (I clapped my hands and laughed). I wonder if you understand Japanese. When I was let through the room, I gave an elderly woman (Japanese woman) a gift, but the Chinese woman did not thank me until the next morning. The person at the counter must be Japanese, after all. I was whispering. I wondered if I should say that to the customer. In the morning, while I was waiting for breakfast at the table after raising the futon, a centipede started walking on the tatami mats. I exterminated it and left it on the tatami mat, but the Chinese waitress pretended not to see it. Way to go. Originally it is a dried fish shop, but it seems that the inn business is being forced. Even if you are guided to the parking lot, weeds grow as much as you want. I should have parked in the paid parking lot. About 3 hours after checking out, when I was on my way home, I received a call on my cell phone asking if the room key had been returned. Great phone call with. The young proprietress appears in the media and seems to be doing her best, but she doesn't come to the counter. . I don't know. Even if the food and bath (small and dirty) are good, it will have to be rated low.
