I stayed in Room 103, a deluxe Western-style room with a semi-open-air hot spring bath on the first floor, for one night from Saturday, February 17th. It has been three years since the major flood that struck this area in July 2020, and this inn was newly rebuilt in February 2023. When I think about the reconstruction, I feel a deep emotion. [About the room] This spacious room is 56 m2 and is located at the very back of the first floor. The living space and bed space are separated by a partition made of bamboo joinery, and each is independent, creating a calm design that blends in with the area. The hot spring attached to the room is a large bathtub with a natural hot spring, so you can relax at any time. There is a private terrace outside the room, where you can spend your time after bathing slowly on the sofa while looking at the greenery. What bothered me was that the safe in the room was very narrow and in a dark place, and I felt that it was difficult to understand how to operate it, and while the texture of the bathrobe was very good and comfortable, the slippers for wearing in the room felt thin and cheap. [About the hot springs] There are three hot springs with different spring qualities in the building, one of which is a private bath. It is quite fun to be able to take a tour of the various hot springs, including the hot spring in the room, during your stay. The hot spring that was particularly good was the first hot spring, ”Mikage no Yu,” located underground. The hot spring was very soft and smooth on the skin, and was of the finest quality, as the name ”the hot spring where Hitoyoshi hot spring originated.” There are also the second hot springs, ”Suiga no Yu” and ”Suizan no Yu,” for men and women, on the second and third floors, respectively, which are the large public baths of the inn, and are also equipped with a small open-air bath and sauna. You can also see the beautiful view of the clear stream ”Kuma River” from the window of the indoor bath. [About the meals] We had both dinner and breakfast in a private room at the restaurant ”Soho” on the first floor. Both meals were delicious and of a satisfactory quality. What was particularly impressive was the ”salted grilled yamame” at dinner, which was a plump yamame with thick flesh. Also, the ”Kake Gohan” served for breakfast was delicious rice topped with plenty of freshly shaved bonito flakes, making it an excellent meal. The staff were all very friendly and pleasant, but dinner was served too quickly, which was a bit of a concern. [About the public areas] Free drinks were available in the lobby, and there was a wonderful ”water basin terrace” outside in front of the lobby, where you could relax and feel the breeze from the river. There was also a ”starry sky terrace,” where a bonfire was lit at night, and you could sit in a chair and look at the beautiful starry sky. [Overall review] The facility was designed to skillfully incorporate the surrounding scenery, the facilities made the most of the limited space, the smiling service of the staff, the superb hot springs, and the delicious food, all of which made for a satisfying stay. This stay made me want to return if I have the opportunity.

The staff were friendly and I felt good staying at a cultural property class accommodation.

離jr人吉步行可達，爺爺奶奶經營的算是民宿！他們自己住在一樓，客房在旁邊一小棟的樓梯上去，有四個房間，但我入住時衹有我們所以公共區域獨享了🥹。有冰箱微波爐電吹風，一個浴室，兩個廁所，上去的廳很大有桌子。如果要吃飯需要提前詢問預訂，有時候爺爺奶奶沒空就衹能自己去便利店提前購賣了哦。 爺爺會使用翻譯器，那個還挺準的不用擔心！家裡還有自行車，是免費可以使用的。 攜程發來的郵件裏的酒店日本電話不太準確，可以到了日本以後拜託前一家酒店查詢一下人吉的森野～ 晚上還可以直接拿着房間鑰匙去朝陽館（另一家温泉旅館）泡温泉！屬實是算驚喜了，不過爺爺説是合作，不知道是不是一直都有哦，請當做一個驚喜看待～ 爺爺奶奶人都很好，下次去還會想住這裏😭第一天到急着出門還讓提前入住了，本來衹想放下行李。中午2.00要飯店午休，爺爺怕我們來不及直接開車帶我們到了飯店門口，真的好感動雖然其實自己走過去也就十分鐘但是大熱天的！真的！很舒服。特別推薦一下米津米店這家飯店，每天衹有一個固定套餐，是老爺爺老奶奶一起經營，日語交流沒問題，英語也行，稍微有點困難但真的非常划算且好吃。 小城市感覺大家互相之間都認識，也會和我們聊起來住在森野之類的事，是特別幸福的一場旅途。😊 最後一張是正確的酒店日本電話，應該是，記不太清了可以試一下落地以後進行聯繫，郵件我發過沒有迴音也不知道是不是攜程給的郵箱也是錯了的😤

Stayed in a guest room with an open-air bath with 3 family members with elementary school students. It was renovated in 2021, and the inside of the building and the rooms were very clean and sophisticated spaces. The room has a terrace overlooking the Kuma River, and I thought it would be nice to spend a relaxing time looking at the scenery in the summer. The large communal bath was large enough and the quality of the spring was strong and very good. The open-air bath in the room was thinner than the large communal bath, but this is satisfactory because it is soaked slowly whenever I think of it. The meals are seafood, mountain food, and meat and rice based on ingredients from various parts of Kumamoto. All of them were very beautifully served and the taste was very delicious. It was a satisfying meal that the amount was just enough to eat. The staff 々 was also very polite and the service level was very high, from young to old. The only disappointing point was that the parking lot was a little far away and the distance required to pick up and drop off by the inn car was the only disappointment.

Facilities: Complete facilities, modern decoration style, and relatively new facilities everywhere. Hygiene: clean and odorless. Surrounding environment: Kuma Hospital is next to it, which may be a bit uncomfortable psychologically, but it is located in a relatively prosperous area of ​​Hitoyoshi, with convenience stores, izakayas, supermarkets, and souvenir shops. Service: The English level at the front desk is good.

The room is very clean and convenient, the boss is very good! ! Facilities: complete, with shower and washroom, and separate bathroom. There are two hot springs next to it, you can take a bath, and it is very cheap! ! Hygiene: full marks! ! Very clean. Environment: full score! ! It is very close to Renji Station, Renji Bridge, Ball Mochuan, and there is also a convenience store next to it, which is very convenient! ! Service: Awesome, the boss is very enthusiastic, and the English is very good, English communication is no problem! !

The hotel decoration for Christmas was superb & beautiful. Initially when we checked in, the passage way at level 2 had an unpleasant musty smell but a few hours later the smell was gone. I think the hotel should look into improving the ventilation & add some aromatic scent. The breakfast spread for 1320 yen was excellent. There were Japanese as well as Western food choices.

갈 때는 ㅈㄴ리 멀다 버스 정류장에서 30분 걸어갈 때는 짐 무게때문에 지옥을 맛봤다. 만약 기차역에서 간다면 근처 헬로 싸이클링이라고 자전거 대여가 있으니 어플깔고 열심히 페달 밟자. 시내에서 먼거 빼고는 주인분도 친절하시고 다 좋았다. 세탁기도 무료다. 그렇다고 펑펑 처쓰진 말자. 방, 욕실 깨끗하다. 나 있을 때는 사람이 없어서 조용했는데 아마 사람 많은 날은 시끄러울 수도 있다. 방문이 문이 아니라 커튼 비스무리한 슬라이딩 도어로 되어 있어서 소음 차단은 안된다.
