GGuest UserBreathing the breath of the Pacific Ocean under the starry sky, the mist of the seawater hot spring and the biting cold wind at night compete in your ears. This unique feeling of Kii Katsuura's open-air bath is unforgettable. The mountain trail on the top floor of the hotel is also very beautiful. When we left the island, the ship had already sailed far away, but the hotel staff still waved goodbye to us vigorously. From the scenery to the hot springs to the dishes of the one-night-two-meals and the service, we were very satisfied!
GGuest UserEnvironment: Very clean and comfortable
Facilities: Very close to the JR station, just across the overpass, with a private hot spring, but remember to make an appointment in advance
Service: Check-in is after 4:00, but you can store your luggage in advance, which is very convenient
GGuest UserThe sea view room we got was one of the biggest rooms we've stayed in. Felt like the space could easily sleep 10 people.
The hotel is slightly older and the in-room shower area was very old.
But their onsen was wonderful, especially the outdoor section.
BBrandorkslashdonLoved this hotel so much! There are 5 different onsens (including two amazing cave onsens) and a garden and a deck at level 30+ and restaurants, souvenir shops and a Lawsons in the hotel itself. The downside is that it is only reachable by a short boat ride on a very adorable turtle boat from 7 to 7 at certain intervals so you’ll need to time your itineraries very precisely. However, I did enjoy coming back earlier from a long day of hiking at Kumano Kodo and relaxing in the different onsens, which were a big highlight of my trip. Also make sure to dine at Ihura Sushi at Kii-Katsuura, which has amazing sushi.
CChuchuzMercure Wakayama Kushimoto Hot Spring Resort is in an excellent location, close to the sea, with beautiful scenery, and is an ideal place to relax. In the morning, you can enjoy the magnificent sunrise over the sea from your room or terrace, which is refreshing. The hotel has complete facilities and the hot spring area is clean and comfortable, which is very suitable for relaxing your tired body after traveling. The rooms are spacious and tidy, and the service staff is warm and thoughtful, making people feel at home. The surrounding environment is quiet, suitable for vacation and leisure, and the transportation is also convenient. Whether you enjoy the natural scenery or experience the hot springs, this is an option that cannot be missed, highly recommended!
OOZYZThis is the first time I have seen a buffet where you can push a multi-layered cart to get food. I admire the atmosphere of the hotel. The environment, scenery and service are all good. It is at the end of a clean town, not far from the station, and you can walk there. Some people may think that the hotel is old, but it is a building of 50 or 60 years old and is well maintained. The room with the best location is also given! On the top floor, two large windows face different directions, one side is the sea, the other side is the mountain. Sitting in the room, watching falcons circling outside the window. A great place to daydream. The foot bath (free of charge) and the private bath (extra 2,200 yen) are both recommended.
QQingjiaowo_LisaEnvironment: Across the street from downstairs is the pier for Urashima and Nakanoshima. Not far from the fish market, just a few minutes walk away! The footbath pool by the sea is really good, you can soak your feet while watching the sea!
Hygiene: Clean and hygienic
Service: Warm ❤️🔥 Thoughtful
Free breakfast is available, which is good!
GGuest UserIt is about 10 minutes away from JR Station and Muten Island. It is also close to the tuna trading market. I chose a Japanese-style room. After climbing the mountain, I used the hotel's own hot spring to relax. I slept very comfortably at night. The breakfast is a set meal. Go to the restaurant at the time determined when checking in. The table will be set up 👌🏻 and the room number will be noted. You can enjoy it to your heart's content. Everything is very satisfactory
GGuest UserThe hotel is built in the mountains and needs to go through a 100-meter tunnel to reach it. After getting off at Shengpu Station, walk 1.4 kilometers, or take a taxi, I remember it was more than 700 yen. The hotel lobby, rooms and hot springs all face the bay, very pleasant. The staff was very welcoming and provided a timetable for Kumano Ancient Road buses and Ji の Matsushima cruise ships. Breakfast is Japanese and very rich. Although there is no sunrise view of the Pudao Hotel, it is cheap and good.
GGuest UserThe location is close to the train station, the place is clean and tidy. The boss and staff are kind and friendly. It is a very good homestay. However, there are no toilets and showers in the room. If you want to go to the public bathroom and toilet, the problem is. The public bathroom is from the evening Check out is closed from 9 o'clock to the second dynasty, that is, if you check out after 9:00 p.m. to the second dynasty, you can’t take a bath, so you have to think about it. It’s hard to charge 200 yuan for towels. understand
