La scelta del Hotel Bisanzio è stata ottima per la sua posizione in pieno centro storico di Ravenna (tra l'altro città meravigliosa). Tutto il personale è molto gentile, accogliente e professionale. La colazione, servita dalle 07 alle 10 più che soddisfacente. Unica pecca, ahimè, è l'aspetto liso e vecchio della camera con tanto di moquette che non aiuta a migliorare impatto e che ”urla” una richiesta di ammodernamento. Nonostante questo, le Signore addette alla pulizia facevano trovare la camera ogni giorno in ordine e pulita.

We stayed for two nights in one of the top two suites. The pros were it was a clean, seemly refurbished room. The breakfast in the basement was nice. There were several cons. First, the parking situation. When we booked (months ago) parking was listed as in their garage, but apparently that is not true now. They said we would have no hope of finding anything on the streets because it was a holiday weekend and we had to pay $25 per night for ”valet” parking. As for the room, we felt the beds were harder than normal. The bathroom was a nice size, but sadly with all ”modern” bathrooms it is not designed very well. The raised sinks mean there is literally no place to set anything on the counters! Also, the shower had no where to place anything. There was a pump shampoo/shower gel. All our own items had to sit on the shower floor! Whoever designs these things..... Our other major problem was the A/C /heat. First, the panel was incomprehensible. The outside temperatures were moderate which meant the neither was on and thus the fan would not work. It was very unpleasant. We discovered this after dinner. The night manager said they had no fans to give us. They did have a fan the next night which made it a lot more comfortable. Finally, the location is several long blocks from the area where the restaurants are. None are around the hotel. Both evening after dark we were uncomfortable walking on deserted streets.

GGuest UserDa fuori si presentava molto bene poi mi è bastata la prima colazione la mattina per avere grosse perplessità, poca scelta neanche il pane da tostare. Non parliamo della cucina….Pessima!! Neanche alla mensa dei poveri si mangia così male! Tutto insipido, poca varietà, niente antipasti a buffet….. Oltretutto ti fanno pagare ben 2 euro a bottiglia l’acqua ai pasti, ormai almeno l’acqua non la fa pagare più nessuno, ci sono gli erogatori a servizio dei clienti…Se venite in questo hotel di sicuro non trovate la Romagna e lo spirito dei romagnoli. (Ma neanche quello degli italiani in generale). Ho trovato un migliore servizio in pensioni ad una stella a tre volte meno del prezzo che ho pagato li. Anche per la pulizia devo dissentire…Peccato perché la struttura c’è, buona posizione direttamente sulla spiaggia, bella piscina …. Ma al servizio cucina e pulizia do zero!

GGuest UserReally lovely and friendly hotel, so much to like about it - brilliant and very clean pool and pool area, family room was spacious, very clean, lovely large rooms and en-suites, beach area was easy to use, very clean, lovely dinners, umbrellas etc, staff explained how to access if brilliantly, we stayed for 4 nights before picking up a cruise from Ravenna and would definitely visit again

Dante's tomb and Quadrarco of Braccioforte
CCalvin在路上Walking around, suddenly found a place that seemed to be concentrated of tourists. Turning into the alley, this small mound was actually Dante's graveyard. Dante is a Florentine, and I have been to his former residence in Florence, and he was later evicted by the locals and died in Ravenna. Florence is deeply ashamed of the great poet, who is said to have been supplied forever by Florence with the oil of the long beacon of Dante's tomb.
