The worst i ever experience. 1. i booked due there advertisement Airport Shuttle what they refuse and say orbitz did it. Even on the website the offer this. ok we take a bus and in the early morning a taxi. 2. with many luggage or handicap you have a problem due he fact you have to move all up 3 stairs. 3. Somebody then make the check in process in a room with copy of the passport on his private cellphone and not normal paper copy - unusual 4. The room is very hot and full covered windows. By removing the cover to open the window surprise in the bathroom aggressive mold and in the living room covered with paint. 5. The AC is working only noisy like a permanent running engine. On Sleeping was not even to think. For this we called all hotel around to possible move only most no respond due closed or sold out. So we decided to stay out of the room as long we could and even the 5 hours at night impossible to sleep due the bad air by possible spreading the mold with the AC. I complete went sick and was at ariving in Madrid due big issues with breathing in the hospital to get some medicamentation. All what we experience we recorded by Foto and video and will report this asap to the authorities in Venice where give this .... a working permission. This ”Hotel” not have to mention the name luxury rooms or anything to host travelers and we hope it get investigated. The funny part is to read other reviews where i cant believe that all other rooms would be luxury or hostable

Very good. Check in at midnight! There is someone to serve you. You can also buy a 1.5 euro ticket for bus number 5 to Venice Island. It is close to the bus station. The only drawback is that the takeaway is a bit far away. Everything else is very good. The service attitude is also good
+Very close to Venice 20 min bus journey Staff were friendly, everything was clean and tidy . Clean sheets and towels every time we returned . Plus a good breakfast of pastries, bread etc and teas coffees juices until 10am. Basic but great no real complaints - only two thin pillows so make sure to take spare and very thin blankets so was cold . Mattress was leaning on to the hard side but my partner prefers a harder mattress so it depends on preference. One thing to bear in mind is that you have to leave your key with staff when leaving hotel , wasn’t an issue for us. Overall a great place to stay at the end of the day when spending time in the city of Venice . Would definitely recommend for something affordable and basic .
When you book a 3-star hotel the basic things must be there, I booked two hotel rooms we were two couples so we were double rooms with a double bed and what do we find,? Two single beds with two single mattresses put one close to the other with a supported matrimonial head. Then the refrigerator had to be put in operation and with at least one bottle of water inside instead, the receptionist arrived from four bottles just to welcome us. Then the most scandalous thing were the headlights of the bed that had no lamp, and with the electrical connections connectors, seeing one wrongly touching them and then leaves us the skin in all of the rooms. Our stay was cold and rained temperatures around 17-19 degrees and then the rooms were cold, I go to the reception and ask if you could turn the heating in the rooms and the answer was that it was not possible because The boiler did not work, then the worst thing were insects or insects that were in beds that jumped from one side to the other, I don't know how you could keep three stars, I'm not sure.
Typical Hilton so quality was not bad. Rather than paying v high hotel rates in Venice people should consider Hilton as it is v reasonable. There are two buses right outside the door with the 2nd stop that brings you to Venice bus terminals. You can walk in to Venice or take a ferry within 30 min with things to see whilst you are walking.
Another plus is that with a 5 to 10 min taxi ride you and your luggages will arrive at the door of Hilton without the trouble of taking your luggages to your hotel in Venice after transport through boats
But you need to time the return journey especially when the weather is cold or wet as it is hard to get a taxi in the evening when people are leaving after dinner.
We had to catch a very early flight and we chose this hotel because of its proximity to Marco Polo airport. The hotel had charm: pleasant, very clean… we had dinner in the bar and highly recommended. We had wonderful baked pizzas.
Finally, and very much appreciated, despite not having had breakfast, since we didn't have time, they had prepared us some coffees with buns to take to the airport.
The Hotel refused to provide accommodation. we forgot Our passports at the hotel in Milan holiday inn. The Milan hotel manager called Ducale and confirmed that the passport are in their possession and they can courier it to the hotel within 24 hours. But we were refused accommodation. The holiday inn hotel manager called another hotel in Central Venice to let us stay and sent them colored copy of our passports. AND arranged to send our passport to our next destination in Florence. We go our passports in Florence to continue our journey. Ducale NEVER provided the customer service holiday inn did and we never stayed there. They actually made quite a few bucks off us and the other hotel managers apologized for Hotel Ducale's ”stupidity in customer service”
We stayed at Red Lion Guest House in the beginning of July. The place is very clean and tidy . Very well maintained . It is also very quiet despite the fact that is on the main road. Every room has air con. Furniture is in new condition. They are few restaurants/ pizzeria around and gelato shops as well. People are very friendly. Owners very friendly and helpful. Excellent location. Choice of transport. Tram stop is just outside the house. For 1.50 euro return you can get the tram number 1 to Venice . It takes 30-40 minutes. The tram is running until midnight. There is a bus station just 100 meters from the house to get to Marco Polo Airport. Bus number is 45. The cost is 8 euro to the airport. No matter what transport you use . Just bare in mind that Saturday and Sunday the public services are reduced. Great place to stay and great location. Owners are so kind. Lovely breakfast and coffee as well. We have even tried the fruit from their garden. It was lovely. I will definitely recommend this place.
