Find the Cheap Carpentras Hotels

We stayed 2 nights here in July. The hotel is in a great location. 2 minutes walk to the commercial shops, grocery, and nice restaurants. It’s on a street with shady trees that brings the romantic French feeling. The owner Frederic is very knowledgeable and efficient. Our car was towed due to the damage caused by thief. He helped us to communicate with the road assistance and rental company, and found us the replacement car the same day on Sunday which is normally not possible. We really appreciate his kindness, patience and thoughtfulness. We will definitely come back if we are in the region again. Thank you Frederic.

The hotel is quite understated from the outside, but it is very nice inside. The staff are friendly and speak good English, and the rooms are comfortable and nicely finished. Seems very nice for the very reasonable cost. We didn’t eat breakfast but the dining room looked very nice, and I believe you can eat in their nice little terrace. I do know that their roof terrace is very nice for sundowners! :-)

Nous retournions régulièrement depuis plusieurs années dans ce village de vacances. Les logements étaient agréable, le domaine était bien entretenu et bien géré. Cette année... après 3 ans nous avions hâte d'y retourner en famille. Quelle mauvaise surprise à notre arrivée...le logement n'avait apparemment pas été vérifié avant notre arrivée. Table de jardin complètement cassée mais laissée sur la terrasse, chaises de jardin noires - crasseuses- dégoûtantes, lampes cassées, ”traces brunâtres” sur les murs des toilettes, vaisselle collante dans l'armoire, logement pas très propre, etc... Nous avons dû aller acheter du spray à la javelle pour renettoyer les chaises de jardin, nous avons dû relaver la vaisselle, frotter les tâches brunes au mur, etc ... Et on nous demande+-90€ à payer pour le nettoyage final !! La dame à l'accueil (avec son petit chien)pas très collaborante, pas très agréable... Changement de direction ?? Que s'est il passé... Il manque qqun pour gérer cela. De notre côté...je ne conseillerai plus du tout ce village de vacances et nous n'y retournerons plus. Dommage que cela tourne ainsi ...le village en lui-même est sympa et bien situé. Il manque un bon gestionnaire et remettre en état les logements (pourquoi ne pas s'en occuper après saison !?)

I highly recommend staying at LA MaiZon! Françoise is the most welcoming and supportive host! The location is perfect, offering a peaceful and calm atmosphere at night, allowing for a truly relaxing experience during the day away from the city. Additionally, the property is conveniently located near numerous regional attractions. The breakfasts provided were outstanding. Overall, a fantastic stay!

Mazan is not very famous in southern France. It is one of many small towns. But it's right on the way to Sault. That is to say, on the way to the lavender tour. The hotel was formerly the private residence of a local lord and was later transformed into a hotel. The public areas of the hotel are decorated with French neoclassical elegance and romance, but the interiors of the rooms are relatively simple. The classic rooms do not even have a decent table, and the bathroom only has a separate tub in the middle of the room. , relatively inconvenient. We booked a classic room. Maybe because we were Asians, we arranged it in the north-facing location closest to the storage room. We wanted to change it but failed. They said that the room I booked only had this orientation. The question is, are there only one or two classic rooms? ? Unless you add another 79 euros, you can change to another room. Later I found out that I was still on the same floor after paying extra. Changing the direction in such a remote place would cost so much that we rationally gave up. However, I have to say that the lobby manager of the hotel is very dedicated. We needed to print our boarding passes when we left the hotel. It happened to be a very busy check-out time. He really tried his best to help us, which reflected the gentleness of a French gentleman and the hotel. Professionalism of managers.

Such a lovely place to stay. You will need a small car to go through the narrow gate into the old town of Mazan but Eric and Agnes will make sure you have a place to park. They are superb hosts who really look after their guests and pay attention to all the details. We loved our large room off the Library and played snooker/pool in the evenings. We adored the relaxing garden with a gloriously warm swimming pool. I was straight in to that within an hour of arrival and we used it every day of our May stay. Dinner was cooked by Eric on our first day and was delicious, as was the breakfast served by Agnes. Try Eric's special spiced scrambled eggs. All items were seasonal and local and we loved the way it was varied each morning. The other nights we ate in the town, booked by Agnes and Eric on their recommendations. You will not see many tourists here and it is on the edge of such a great wine area. A base for Gordes, the ”Lavender route”, Mt Ventoux, the wines of the Vaucluse and the edges of the Luberon.
