Find the Cheap Gran Alacant Hotels

I am writing this while waiting on our transfer back to the airport. Where to start with this hotel. Firstly, I've got to be honest, it's very smart and immaculately clean, with lovely rooms, that being said ask for an odd number if possible otherwise your on the side facing a main road which can be noisy. The hotel is ideally located if you're here on business at just 7 minutes from Alicante airport. Now, as we learned on the first night, if you've paid half board, then be warned, the evening menu is restricted to a choice of 3 starters, 2 main courses(plus 2 with an additional supplement) and 3 deserts. Our first meal took 45 minutes for the starter to arrive although there were only 6 or 7 other tables seated, which seemed excessive for a bowl of soup and a portion of potato wedges in a sauce. The main course which followed was supposed to be turkey but it looked and tasted anything like it and was served with a few stems of cold broccoli and nothing else. This was left and we declined the desert as the whole experience left a bad taste in our mouths as we felt, at times overlooked due to being English, I mean come on 1 & 1/2 hours to serve a starter and main especially when we sat down just after 8pm. From then on, we had to eat out to find anything decent. As for the location, as said earlier, it is great for the airport. Otherwise, it's a 45 minute bus ride into Alicante and although this seems a pain is very cheap at just €1.75 each way. Finally, if you are like us on a late flight back to the UK, forget about keeping your room past 2pm so no chance of getting a shower if you've been out for the day prior to heading home and the only place to get changed is in the toilet in the lobby or on the 3rd floor by the swimming pool. Overall I would give this hotel 3* rating and that's only as its still relatively new otherwise it would have been a 2* for the reasons mentioned above. We will not be returning.

We stay only one night as it is near the airport . nice staff . Room and clean bathroom . Have air conditioning that is very necessary when it makes warm. You are left soaps for each guest. The room was very comfortable and very comfortable and very comfortable.

We had an early flight out of Alicante Airport, and so we booked here. We had a 19-month-old with us, and the reception staff were amazing, absolutely amazing. They were extremely friendly and helpful. They made sure we knew how things worked with checking in, and they also booked our taxi to the airport for the next morning. They were happy to answer any questions we had about the area and were happy to give recommendations about restaurants in the area, etc. The room itself was extremely clean, and they'd provided a travel cot for our little one. The room came with 3 single beds, remote-controlled air-conditioning, and a small but modern bathroom. This place deserves a 5* rating!

I booked this hotel for a 5 day break with my wife and we were delighted with our choice. The whole hotel was new in 2023, all the rooms and facilities are well equipped, modern and spotlessly clean. The managed and all the staff were all friendly and helpful and we were made to feel very welcome. The beds are large and very comfortable, the breakfast buffet was superb offering a selection of hot and cold dishes and pastries, plus 24h access to tea and proper (bean to cup) coffee. Also a bonus is cheap parking in the massive secure car-park (underneath the castle) with the pedestrian entrance literally 50m from the hotel. We would have no hesitation in booking here again.

Great Hotel. Clean, big rooms, food good ,every day prawns, different meats, some fish ( no chicken nuggets and chips so for me was really good sign 😁). Beach 10 min walk, if you want a sun bed you have to turn left on the beach and walk about 5 minutes. Santa Pola it is a good place for people who are looking for a quiet holiday without clubs and drunk people everywhere. Yo U can find nice bars and restaurants here, and there are also places to dance, but everything is culturally friendly.

Hotel prices are not expensive, the scenery is good. Rarely there is a Jinfu Chinese restaurant, which is a combination of Chinese and Western. Because this is a foreigner business, there are few Chinese. It tastes good and the price is too affordable.

stayed here after easyjet cancelled our flight and we had to stay overnight. great little place. really friendly staff. lovely huge room with two large comfy beds. bathroom with a bath tub (happy husband!) and shower. all really good. the area its in isnt anything special but its a short cab ride to the airport and is a great place to stay.

My family and I stayed here for 2 nights. The reception staff were really friendly and allowed us to check in early, we stayed in building number 5, with a view of one of there many pools on site. The room was okay, they are so spacious ideal for a family or a group of friends, the rooms are just very outdated, the place could really do with some refurbishing and improvements, the rooms look like they were built in 1995 and they have not been updated sense, they are very outdated. I can only give the cleanliness a 3/5 there was a lot of dust in our room, and our balcony was covered in a lot of debris from the trees, which sounds silly but it could have been easily cleaned up before we checked into apartment. it was good value for money so you are getting what you paid for I guess, but it could be so much more if they just took better care of the property. the pools are nice, and the bar was okay, food was not amazing and service was slow. it takes about 10-15mins to get into Alicante city by taxi, there is no other way to get in unless you drive yourself. overall we did not have a bad experience here, it just was not our cup of tea, would not return.

We found ourselves in need of a hotel near the airport at short notice. We weren't expecting a lot from this hotel as it was only £63 for a 2 bed apartment. We were so surprised when we arrived. The reception staff were friendly and helpful and we were able to check in about 4 hours before we were advised when we booked. It took us around 30 minutes to walk to a beautiful park where we found a lovely local restaurant. The apartment was clean and tidy and we have no complaints. Not sure we'd stay for a week but this hotel is great for 1 or 2 nights.
