Find the Cheap Alicante Hotels

In Europe, there are 24 square-foot rooms that are oversized, and the service is good and clean. Because I do n’t like European meals, I cook with electric cups, but 1.5 yuan of freshly ground coffee is quite good. Museum, Barbara Castle, beach, yacht marina , Sailing Wharf, Acampo hypermarket are all nearby, and there are T1 ～ T4 subway transfer stations at the door, 23, 2 and C6 to the airport and train station bus station. Apart from Mela, it is the most beautiful in Alicante, but it is too expensive. I personally think that Maya is the most ideal and convenient.

LOCATION 4/5 If you want a cheap and cheerful hotel to rest your head and a base to explore, then this will be the place for you. I wouldn't want to stay here for a week but its ok for a few nights. Located a 5 minute walk from the beach, its in a good location with plenty of restaurants down at the beach and nearby. This is not in the hustle and bustle of the city centre and so if you would rather be more central then you could stay here and get a bus/tram into the centre. Its about 1.5 hours to walk from here to the castle near to the city centre or 20 mins by car. FACILITIES 3/5 The facilities at the hotel are pretty basic. There is one outdoor pool (not heated) with sun loungers, on site restaurant, gym and sauna, the sauna was not in use when we stayed and the gym is pretty basic. There is however plenty of gyms to use along the beach front if you want to get some exercise, along with beach volleyball, football and other activities to keep you active if that's what you like. The pool as stated is not heated so pretty cold but that can be welcoming in high temperatures but not so good for an early morning dip. We visited in September so out of season and there were plenty of free sunbeds, however I can imagine in summer season you may struggle to get one. I also found that the pool was over run by children, even when visited out of season, so if you don't like too many children I would avoid this hotel as it is very family friendly. ROOM 3/5 The room was adequate with a comfy bed, all be it the beds were just pushed together and moved about a lot and i ended up falling down a gap in the middle of them. Aircon was good as was the shower, whihc was hot and powerful. Clothes line option in bathroom to hang your wets and a standard low powered hair dryer provided. No tea and coffee facilities in the rooms, but there was a small fridge to store your bottled water. You are not allowed to consume food and drink on site note bought there so not sure what else they expect you to store in the fridge. Electronic safe in wardrobe was easy to use and free. The windows could be opened and in addition to air con is a ceiling fan if you are not a fan or air con. STAFF 4/5 The staff spoke excellent English and were very helpful and welcoming. No issues at reception or in the restaurant. We asked several questions during our stay and they were very accommodating in helping us. FOOD 3/5 The breakfast buffet is standard for Europe with some hot options and continental breakfast, cereals, fruit etc. The quality of food is ok and like I said at the beginning this is a cheap and cheerful hotel, you pay for what you get so don't expect amazing food quality. There is no allergen information so this can make things difficult if you have an allergen and you may have to ask staff to assist you with what you can and cannot eat. This is the 2nd time I’ve used this hotel, it’s ideal from the train station- literally across the road. Especially when coming off a lengthy train ride with a child so we could catch an early morning flight from Alicante Airport. Clean check in area and very friendly staff , helpful regarding public transport and there are free tea & coffee making facilities in the lobby in the evening . The rooms are adequate with aircon if needed in the summer. Clean bathroom and toilet with plenty of towels and toiletries , this is not a holiday hotel but for 1 night stays especially for the airport as the bus stop is just over the road. As a woman travelling on her own and another occasion with s young child I have felt perfectly safe.

Spent a week here in February 2022. It’s position is perfect for the bars and restaurants, and everything going on. Check in was 10/10. All the staff were polite efficient and welcoming. Our room was spotless and was cleaned to perfection every day. The bed was comfy and decor was very tasteful. Good size shower and bathroom. Lovely roof terrace with amazing views. The buffet breakfast was good. Nice choice and I liked the fact that the coffee machine produced hot coffee. Covid restrictions were observed The only issue was that because it’s in the middle of everything we were woken up a few times during the weekend nights very early mornings due to it being a lively area. There’s no pool or bar but it’s so near the beach and restaurants that you won’t miss it. I would recommend this hotel. I would recommend this hotel for a clean, comfortable stay

Genuinely really nice hotel if you're a stoic, philosophical, get-what-you-pay-for, kind of person - I was honestly perfectly happy there... However... The room was small, so small in fact that they emailed us ONCE WE WERE ALREADY THERE, 'reminding' us (there had been no mention before) that we had booked a very small double room, that was more suitable for a single person, and offering to upgrade us for a scarcely justifiable fee. It was very small. The basin is in the main room, as the bathroom is hilariously small - did I mention the whole thing was small. The shower was ok, but to access the toilet you'd need to be less than a foot (30cm) in width. Yes, width. Again, as a stoic stiff-upper-lipped Englishman I was perfectly happy as I would just squeeze my shoulders in, but for the portly, do consider this advice when booking! Staff were lovely though, and the fact that the bed seemed firm and excellent at first, to give way to mild back pain and the realisation that the firmness was rigid mattress-springs almost went unnoticed! Outstanding location though, and really fine if you don't mind imperfection!

The location is excellent. In the middle of the old town, close to the beach (a 7 minute walk), restaurants all over around. There are two rooms ( a bedroom and a living room) so you have enough space to relax. Very good bathroom, bright and nice. The apartment was very clean and in the kitchen you have all you need, cuttlery, plates, pots, cups, a microwave oven, a sandwich toaster and a Tassimo coffee machine (two capsules are waiting for you at your arrival and that is all, after that you have to buy them). The air conditioning is very good. We felt safe all the time, even on the very narrow street that goes to the apartment. There are mini markets very close, two minute walk! We got an umbrella for the beach (from the reception) and that was very nice because two sunbeds and an umbrella on the beach are unbelievably expensive, 27 euros!!) The apartment is noisy, because the restaurants below are full of people till late in the night. Early in the morning there are noisy machines that clean the streets. We knew about the noise from the reviews, there are persons who do not care about that, so you have to decide if you choose this apartment or not. We stayed for 9 nights, there was a cleaning on a Monday and one on a Sunday, just before our leaving. In the bathroom there are only towels, toilet paper and 2 little bad soaps. There is a very old washing machine on the sixth floor, not in the apartment (on the terrace of the building). The TV has only a few Spanish channels, you cannot watch it if you don't know Spanish. The apartment is a little dark because you have to keep the curtains on all the time, there are windows just in front, over a narrow street.

The room is very spacious, the bedroom and bathroom are separated, the reception staff is very nice and even delivered the luggage to the room.

I'd definitely stay here again. For three reasons: 1) The location. A quiet but extremely central street, convenient for everything. 2) The rooms and public areas. They all look like they were refurbished this year (they probably weren't, but they look like it) 3) Breakfast. Modest at first glance (they don't do the budget hotel trick of spreading it over fifty metres, instead it's squeezed into a small corner) but plenty of choice, even roasted artichokes and guacamole, five types of cheese and as much choice of patisserie as you'd find anywhere. What's more breakfast was very peaceful, a good environment for those of us who like to wake up slowly: no TV, no annoying music and all presided over by a very calm gentleman.
