At first glance, it is a sober pension, but I was full of fun with the unique atmosphere of my husband and the richness of topics. It is best to think that there is no meal as a free inn. I enjoyed it.

We decided to stop in Suwa to break up a long drive back to Tokyo. Shinyu looked very good and the price was reasonable. The hotel is renovated and gives a nice modern spa hotel atmosphere. The greeting at the hotel is very nice and the lobby area is beautiful. We felt very welcomed when we arrived. Our room was facing the lake. It was Japanese style with tatami and futons. Nice room, nice view. The public bath was nice. Not huge but felt very good. They have an indoor bath, small outdoor bath, a sauna and a cold bath. Dinner was great, as was breakfast. They were both courses and delicious. Service? Well, this is what makes all the difference. When we book hotels we need to detail my daughter's food allergies which are serious. For this trip we had booked many hotels in a row and for some reason when we booked Shinyu and checked-in we just forgot. It was our fault and when we sat for dinner we saw her prepared meal that she obviously could not eat. The staff at Shinyu didn't miss a beat. The didn't make a big deal about it. No stress. The quickly adjusted and made a wonderful dinner for my daughter and also prepared for her breakfast in similar fashion. Wonderful. Such great service. Maybe the building isn't perfect. But the service was perfect. Shinyu was our last stop on our trip and we left with a smile. Shinyu gets an ”Excellent” from my family.

The annex building is an old building and the rooms are older, but you can use the bathhouse on the 14th floor of the main building. The entire Suwa Lake comes into view, so beautiful and enjoyable. In addition, Shadian has several shuttles to the station, so you don’t need to drag your luggage when you leave in the morning.

We stayed at Sui Suwako in late October as part of a long Honshu road trip, and we couldn't be more pleased with our experience at Sui Suwako. It's a hybrid Ryokan/Hotel of sorts... it's a 4-story building that lacks a grand entrance or massive property grounds. But it offers rooms that are modern and comfortably appointed, the Omotenashi hospitality of a family-run Ryokan, an onsen bath in each and every room (as well as a terrific rooftop co-ed bath) as well as a terrific Kaiseki dining experience. Given its location in the middle of Nagano, it also serves as a good overnight rest spot if you're coming to/from places such as Tokyo, Fuji, Nagano, the Hokuriku Region, Tsumago/Magome and Karuizawa. Sui Suwako is located on the banks of the enormous Lake Suwa (”Suwa-ko” in Japanese), although there's a somewhat busy road as well as a small park/boardwalk between the property and the lake itself. It's not in the most secluded of locations, but upon entering the building and walking into the reception/common area you'll find that Sui Suwako is an oasis of tranquility. The furnishings and decor are a combination of traditional and modern - liberal use of brightly-colored wood, large windows facing a small yet charming garden, the earthly tones of the furnishings and a smattering of Shoji (dividers that consist of white, semi-translucent sheets on a lattice frame) lend an airy, homely feel. The same is true in the rooms themselves - it's a country home-style feel that gives it a warm, inviting vibe to the entire place. There are a total of 8 rooms (2 on each of the 4 floors) with two slightly different room categories. We choose to stay in the larger of the two types, dubbed the ”Wide Japanese/Western-style Room with Open-air Hot Spring Bath, 75m².” It's slightly larger than the standard rooms, although every room contains a private, (semi-)open-air Onsen (hot springs) bath with views of Lake Suwa towards the far end of the room that also serves as a terrace of sorts. Our room was on the top (5th) floor with wonderful views of the lake, and was sufficiently spacious with a generously-sized living room and a separate bedroom with two large Western-style beds. Another neat feature of Sui Suwako is the open-air Onsen bath on the roof of the building. It offers commanding views of the lake, and it's also co-ed - unlike most Onsen baths, you're permitted to bathe in bathing suits, which allows for an enjoyable Onsen experience with friends and family of the opposite gender. And, given that only a maximum of 8 group of guests will be staying there at any given time, you're more than likely to have the bath all to yourself than sharing it with other guests. I recommend that you go just before dinner during the sunset hours. It's a gorgeous time to chill out and marvel at the beauty and serenity of the area. The dining experience was definitely a highlight. To start with, meals are served in one's own room (horray!) We love this aspect of the ryoka

Reception is kind response. Stayed in the single of the main building. The facilities were a bit old but the cleaning was well done. The large bath was located in 6F, and the men's / women's replacement at night and morning, and the open-air bath was a little narrow, but there were few people, so I was able to take a bath comfortably. Breakfast is a Viking form. Japanese food is centered and there are many types. There were three kinds of bread. There was a fireworks festival in Lake Suwa on the day when I happened to stay, and the viewing terrace on the seventh floor was opened and I was able to see it nearby.

I visited for the first time in a year. The view of the hotel garden and pond, and the mountain 々 (silhouette of Mt. Fuji in the distance) is beautiful from the room. The Western-style room is large and the wash area has amenities such as lotion. The bath was a men's and women's replacement system, and the open-air bath was a hot spring, which was spacious. The indoor bath was not a hot spring, but I was a little worried about the smell of karuki (I didn't feel it in the bath the next morning). There was cold water in the washroom area of each dressing room, which made my throat moist after taking a bath. Dinner was a Western course this time. For wine bottles, foreign house wine was about 3500 yen. It was French wine. The Western course is quite healthy with plenty of vegetables. The apple salad is elaborate with dry apples, raw sliced apples, boiled apples 3 seeds, sweet roasted nuts and bacon, but no dressing or olive oil is used. It was unique. The fish dish was a grilled fish with cod or something, and it was bolsich tailored, but I thought it might have been better to just grill it as it was. The beautiful color and mysterious texture of the refreshing malo's granite, meat dishes and desserts were delicious. One thing that was unfortunate was that when I asked for cold, the male staff who seemed to be motivated did not bring it forever, and it was passed rather than forgetting. I understood it by my attitude, so I should have asked a different person quickly. Breakfast was Japanese, but it's well balanced. The meal here is not heavy, not too little or too much, and it is well balanced. I checked out at 11 o'clock, so I took a walk in the garden. The area around the lake was about 10 minutes even if I went slowly, and the mountains 々 and the autumn leaves that reflected in the sunny autumn were beautiful. This time, the arrival day was also a sunny autumn day, so I participated in the starry sky appreciation party. After receiving an explanation of the autumn stars for about 10 minutes in the hall, go to the pitch-black outdoors with a lantern in one hand and admire the starry sky. I could still see the Milky Way, Jupiter and Red Saturn. At the starry sky appreciation party, thick coats and downs are not rented, so it is recommended that those who participate in the fall or those who participate warmly. In addition, the actual time to see the stars is less than 20 minutes. Participation is free and it is held 4 times at night, so it is a recommended event. This time as well, it was a memorable stay.

I stayed in late January. [Access] It is a few tens of seconds walk from Ina Kita Station (JR Iida Line). From the Ina Bus Center, it is a circulation bus (there are quite a few) or JR (less number) and is very close. You can walk straight from ina city station to the shopping street, but I'm scared because there are no people at night. [Hotel impression] The staff is very warm. The room, toilet and bath were clean and clean. Breakfast is more than the amount of quality, enough for me. The local rice was very delicious. [Hotel Features] There is a sound of stepping until about 12 at night. But it is 1~2 books in 1 hours, so there is no problem at all. In addition, the state of the station and the state of the car were observed, and even if it was not a railway fan, the scenery of the daily ina city was enjoyed from the hotel room. [Convenience around the hotel] There is only a vending machine in the hotel. There is a business supermarket right next door, but the convenience store feels less 々 far away. The taxi is ready to call the hotel or wait and go out to the shopping street and catch it. [Delicious Information] There is a cake shop called Française. What? I felt like there was such a beautiful cake? The macaron here was more delicious than the macaron in France. If there is a parking lot, it is a cherry blossom. I went to the restaurant called ”Takeda” that I taught at the hotel to eat lunch. It takes 15 minutes to walk, but it was good to go. Even the mini of the local sauce katsudon was able to enjoy enough (with miso soup).

GGuest UserIt is very close to Suwa IC and I think access by car is good. I think there is Lawson nearby and there is no problem with shopping. I think it's good to go after research because I feel like there are few places to eat. Breakfast is the feeling that the back of the lobby is the breakfast venue. I was back to the Viking form, but I think the score of side dishes is also good and I can be satisfied. Curry and cooked rice (it was a anagomeshi in Hiroshima when I stayed) were also prepared and I was satisfied. There is a large bath with sauna on the top floor. The washroom is less than 5 pieces, but when I went it was me and another person and 2 people. The room was single youth but it was a double bed room so it was relaxing. The air conditioner is a type of indoor machine for each room, but the time pattern is not yet switched to cooling (it is unknown whether it is a failure or a setting). 12 It was a room on the floor, but it was right next to the expressway, and when I opened the window, the sound of the car was quite good. If the window was closed firmly, I didn't care about the sound outside. I think it would be good to be able to provide the congestion situation of the breakfast venue and the public bath in the hotel television system. 12 It is a hotel with a floor, but there is only one elevator, but it was not enough to be stressed to wait. It was a stay that was not found much of the unavoidable part.

GGuest UserFor the purpose of mountain climbing, this time I was taken care of for 2 nights. It is perfect for the base of Yatsugatake mountain climbing. You can go to each mountain climbing gate in about 30 minutes. The response of the front desk staff woman was very good. There are also large baths and sauna on the first floor. The Viking style breakfast was delicious. There are several restaurants such as ramen shops and soba shops within walking distance, and there are convenience stores and drugstores. # Chino Skyview Hotel #Yatsugatake #Yatsugatake #Kayano #Mountaining
