Family-friendly Hotels in Chino

For the purpose of mountain climbing, this time I was taken care of for ２ nights. It is perfect for the base of Yatsugatake mountain climbing. I was taken care of by countless ４ people. After arriving by car, a male staff member came to bring my luggage immediately. When I chose a room called Sufang (type Ｄ), it was beautiful and the open-air bath in the room was large. The large communal bath was quiet, and I didn't meet many people and I took it slowly. The hot spring was also delicious. It was a group plan for more than three people, so there was a bottle of wine. When I chose white wine, I was able to get a pretty good one. Some dinners were not good for my mouth, but they were generally delicious. The stone grilled meat and fresh vegetables were good. In addition, the mushroom soup for breakfast was very delicious with soba porridge and pickled Nozawana. There was a lot of money. There was also a rusc on the coffee, which was also delicious. The green was bright, cool and quiet, and I was able to spend a relaxing time. The staff at the inn are all kind and pleasant. I felt the service spirit that I wanted to cherish the visitors.

Overall, a nice stay at a decently modern hotel with a nice public bath at the top. First things first, I don't recommend staying here unless you have a car or are prepared to walk. Chino Station is about a half hour walk from here and taxis out from the hotel require a call, and in the morning, they said it's not possible to get a taxi (unless you reserve one well in advance). If you do want to rely on taxis, it was about 1400 yen per way to the station. That being said, the building/lobby are nice, lots of parking out front, and the room is decent. I prefer this room proportion to the usual long and skinny business hotel type. If you can, I suggest staying at the highest floor possible (11) so that when you go down, you are the first into the lift, save for anyone coming from the bath. Also, the bath is at L12 so you'll be close to that. Best part of the property is the public bath at L12 with an indoor bath, sauna and outdoor bath. In the morning, you can get a nice sunrise from the men's side and I assume you can get a nice sunset view from the female side. Nearby you have a bunch of places to eat within walking distance like Yoshinoya, Osho, a soba place across the street, another houtou place, and also a small ***** mall with a yakiniku restaurant, Coco Ichiban, Aeon supermarket and some clothing shops. There's a Lawsons really nearby as well. Didn't try the breakfast. I recall reading complaints about the lift. For our stay In December 2022, we didn't encounter any excessively long waits for the lift. Overall, not bad but as mentioned, it's far from the station if you don't have a car (and if you need a car, there's some rental car places near the station (Nissan, Nippon)

It was introduced as a hot spring facility that can accommodate small children, so I have been using it since my child was 2 years old. The renovated Japanese-style modern rooms were quite a reference when renovating my parents' house. The last time I used Oyayu was in March 2020, so it's been a while since I last used it. I'm sure I was upgraded last time, but this time it was the room category I reserved. Room 551 at Sangetsu-tei, which is a little far from the building with the large public bath and dining area, is a room with a bed in a Japanese-style room. The features of this room are that there is no bath and the sink is right next to the entrance, but the entrance is a little dark. The toilet door is quite low and the heavy lighting in the Japanese-style room is also low, so we tall people hit our heads several times. Still, you can relax in the spacious Japanese-style room and on the sofa by the window. The TV monitor is a bit of a drawback. On the first day, we arrived late at night, so when we went to the large public bath around 11 pm, both the indoor bath and the open-air bath were a little lukewarm, which was unusual. But in the morning, the water temperature was just right. The open-air bath by the riverside has always required a reservation, but this time we were told that we could use it for free once. The next day, we immediately wrote our room number on the board in the lounge. If you stay for multiple nights, you can enjoy lunch in the lounge, which we did for the first time this time. You can choose from four types of food: soba, pasta, omelet rice, and galette, and we ordered soba and pasta. It's nice that it's free. Of course it was delicious. Children are provided with yukata, but adults wear work clothes. The pajamas are made of thick, fluffy fabric, so some people may not like them. Meals are served in private rooms, so even if small children make noise, you can eat without worrying about the eyes of others. The breakfast on the second day was Western food, and instead of yudofu, it was mushroom risotto. My child, who likes white rice, didn't like it, so we were given rice separately. I don't like cheese, so overall, I think the Japanese food from the previous day was better. Although I have listed some points of concern, this is a hot spring hotel that I would like to use again.

It is a hotel just near the west exit of Chino Station. I chose it near the station because it is early tomorrow morning. There was a discount by reservation from HP and T points were given. It is a large proportion room. The front desk is where I went up the stairs, but there is an elevator in the back when I pass the restaurant below. There was a Rajum Onsen. When I opened the door by the front desk, there was a small home size bath.

There was nothing around, so I felt like I was in the middle of nature. The food was a buffet both in the evening and in the morning, with a wide variety of options, all delicious, and very satisfying. There were also local ingredients. The bath wasn't that large, but it had an open-air bath and a sauna. The morning bath in particular had a great view and felt great. The walking trails around the hotel were also nice. They were easy to walk on, and although they were mountain paths, they seemed well maintained. It was a hotel I would like to visit again.

I stayed at the cottage (Fourth) during Golden Week in May. The cottage seems to have been built many years ago, but it was cleaned and renovated, so I had a comfortable stay. There is a stream flowing in front of you, so you can enjoy nature. Even if the room is a little noisy, you don't have to worry, and it will be a good memory, especially for those with children. The cottage is a little far from the main building and the building with the large bath. It didn't bother me because the weather was good, but it may be a bit of a hassle when it rains. Since I stayed in the building at the front of the cottages, the large bath was actually closer than the main building, so it was convenient. The large bath is small for the number of guests at peak times such as holidays, but the quality of the spring is good and I think it is not too bad. For meals, we had Western food for dinner and Japanese or Western food for breakfast, each person could choose. Dinner was a standard course, but it was delicious. Perhaps because of the holidays, it was a little hectic and orders were not always properly received, but if that was improved, I think satisfaction would increase. The young staff worked hard and I had a good impression. The grounds of Tokyu Tateshina Resort are spacious, filled with greenery, and the negative ions are soothing. It is a historic hotel, but I hope it will continue to be well-maintained and become a resort that will last for a long time. It was a resort hotel that I would like to visit again.

Stayed on the way back from climbing Mt. Kitayoko. It takes about 5 minutes by car from the ropeway platform to the hotel. Perhaps because I took it cheaply from a certain travel site, I was assigned to a back room even though most rooms face Lake Tateshina. Lobby roof (dirty) view. When you regain your mind, you can see the mountain view. The room is large. The shower curtain of the unit bath is a musty type. Sag. The bed is also an old spring. Well, the price is reasonable. The bath is a men's and women's replacement system. Is it only on this day or always, a woman is a barrel on the check-in day? This is the worst type of open-air bath with a decayed wooden tub like this. The indoor bath is normal. ... And the wooden tub here with a mysterious arrangement? barrel? Tormarin hot water and lemon hot water. I don't need this either. In short, the correct answer is to take a quiet bath in an ordinary indoor bath. acidic spring. Hot water is good. I lamented that it was a buffet, but the price was so, I said, ”It's unavoidable”, but this is unexpectedly delicious. There is nothing to look good, but the seasoning and ingredients are decent (more than the price) Alcohol is 2000 yen and you can drink as much as you want. Many of the staff are foreigners, and all of them are fluent in Japanese and excellent. The service is also neat and age. Breakfast is also a buffet.
