The location is very good. It is right by the Riverwalk of Chicago. The room is big and clean. However, the service is not up to the standard. When we were in thd room, we found that the body wash is empty but when we call the service desk, they told us that all the service workers were returned home. We have to wait until the next morning.

For the room rate I paid for I would have expected
free bottled water in the room. I asked for additional sugar and cream for our room and I never received it. Also when you call the concierge there are times you have to wait long for somebody to answer the phone. Our overall stay was ok only.

I love Swissotel — it’s a great place with a comfortable stay. However, please note that a city tax of around USD 29 per night (including tax) is required. They also provide a daily USD 15 credit for the Amuse Bar.

My recent stay at this hotel was generally unsatisfactory. While the rooms are spacious, the facilities are outdated. The hotel does not provide complimentary water - instead, they charge $6 for a 500ml bottle. The air conditioning wasn't turned on before check-in, showing a lack of preparation.
The front desk is severely understaffed with only one employee, resulting in queues every time you need assistance. The service quality needs improvement - they don't provide basic room service such as delivering toothpaste to the room. Additionally, the elevators lack security access control, raising safety concerns.
Particularly disappointing was when staff entered the room with such brief notice that I didn't even have time to respond on the check-out day. Considering the room rates, this hotel offers poor value for money. Apart from the generous room size, the overall experience falls short, and I cannot recommend staying here.
