I really enjoyed my stay here for a quick weekend getaway, pun intended. Close to a lot of eateries and bars, convenient location and great price. Will definitely stay here again when I revisit Chicago.

The hotel canceled my reservation. They left 10 people without a place to sleep. They didn't mention any issue when we dropped our bags off in the morning. The front desk staff were incredibly unhelpful. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The room is on the third floor. I only gave a list. The elevator is very busy and slow. Cooking is not allowed. Many people use the microwave to cook instant noodles. It is far from the station. The water in the shower is like tears.

As a youth hostel, it's okay, but the bed has no curtains, and the privacy is poor. The lower bunk space is very short, so you can't sit up, so you can only lie down. You need to lock the lockers yourself. The front desk service is uneven. The brother in the house had his money deducted twice, and the tax that needs to be paid is calculated on a daily basis, not the number shown by Ctrip. It takes 10-15 minutes to walk to the subway. The advantage is that it is located in a wealthy area and is relatively safe. The walls are very thin and you can hear the neighbors talking clearly. Breakfast is average, but still edible. As a youth hostel, you can’t ask for a bicycle🚲

Very cost-effective

Lets just say that the cost of a room to have a toilet and sink attached is not worth the cost. Toilet closet way to small. Better off getting the room and using the hall shared bathroom.

I really enjoyed my stay. My room was clean and comfortable. Check in and check out went smoothly. It was also nice to have breakfast available and a full kitchen! The only downside was the shower water pressure was extremely low but I'm still thankful! Overall, I would very likely stay here again and again! I recommend this location for others as well.

This place is great for a short stay. This is not a place where you should expect 5 star hotel. I loved it! The room was spacious and I made sure to book the room with my own bathroom since I did have my teenage daughter with me. I do NOT recommend staying here if you want parking to be convenient . I used spot hero and then just paid the parking garage $17 for 12 hrs. It was about about a quarter mile walk. I didn’t mind it at all. The neighborhood is close to so many dining options, bars, shops and if you really want to you can walk to the zoo. I was so impressed by how clean the rooms were despite being a hostel! I would definitely stay here again if I don’t have a car to park. They do offer coffee, cereal, yogurt and toast for breakfast. Nothing crazy but a very nice offering. I highly recommend

The room was pretty cool with multiple bunks and a regular bed. Nice shower. The room was clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

I have stayed here several times and it is always a pleasant experience. The staff here are friendly and very helpful and it is in a quiet area.

The only thing that was great was the customer service/front desk staff. Parking is a NIGHTMARE! Do not stay here if you have your own car. We saw one car hit two cars multiple times trying to fit its way into a spot because there are no spots to park. Get ready to walk a lot of blocks just to find a spot. The cleaning crew in the morning is LOUD! No need for an alarm clock with them working and cleaning rooms. They slammed doors multiple times, lots of congregating and talking so loud. It was awful. I almost got to a breaking point of asking them to please be quiet. I think the room may have also previously allowed pets. I woke up with bad allergies.

Generally it's wonderful, the only thing that's awful is that the bathroom was far away from tge room, which make some customers including me uncomfortable.

Love this place for price/value and ability to walk around to most Lincoln Park/Depaul options, and relatively near train access too.

Very nice facility. But the walls were so thin. Had a group of chatty gossip queens in the room next door to me that were up all night being loud and rude. It’s funny the whole floor was empty it seemed, except my room and there's. It was like they grouped us together on purpose. Room was nice otherwise. Breakfast was some cereal and eggo waffles.
