It was nice but not so clean. The sink was broken and water is going down the floor instead of the sewage. It has hot shower tho which is very helpful since the temperature in Alishan is very low and cold.

Otter of the hotel looks good but the room is too old and quite dirty.

Friendly customer service and near all amenities. Although room is not so big but just nice for family of 5.

Near to the Alishan train station, very convenience and the hotel is clean.

Hotel location is very nice and and free breakfast but enter the area need to pay extra entrance fees.

The hotel is quite dated. However, the staff are friendly and the location is within the Alishan Recreation Area, so it’s very convenient.

Please read this before considering. If you’re just looking to experience the sunrise and aren’t fussed about accommodation and just need somewhere to stay, this still isn’t an option. This place is so depressing and sapped all our good spirits. Upon arrival at 11am (typical arrival time) we were forced to wait until 2pm for us to check into our room despite the hotel only having 2 other rooms filled. When we entered our room, the bed wasn’t made, the bathroom was soaking wet and the towels weren’t dry. The staff prioritise gossip with neighbouring hotel staff over the guests of their own hotel. The room was so small, we couldn’t open our suitcases fully, the room is better suited for one person. It seemed illogical that we were assigned to this room, when a room with the same sized bed but a lot more space was vacant for the entirety of our stay. My advice is to avoid the upper area of the mountain, it’s overrun with incredibly rude Chinese tourists, the tourist information centre doesn’t have any information, you must pay for it. It’s a nightmare figuring out where the shuttle buses are. There are no working ATM’s either so you’re better off ensuring you have enough cash on you in advance. There’s a huge reason why the accommodation options on the lower part of the mountain have better reviews, because even if you’re just looking for a bed for the night, the upper part of the mountain is torturous all round. The people, the hotel, the cost, the lack of convenience, it adds up and takes a toll on you quickly.

First of all, the location is convenient and very near the park. However, the room is very small and the conditions of the room isn’t good. It’s quite scary atmosphere for me, but there’s nothing bad happen. I think it’s okay to stay for a night. The staff is very helpful and nice. The breakfast is fine. The noodle and rice don’t taste bad. They provide soy milk and bun as well, and I think that tastes very good.

The room was very basic, the mattresses were on the floor and the bathroom didn’t have any ventilation. I wish they offered a later check out since most people come to do the sunrise hike and may want to go back to the hotel to rest.

Pros of this hotel that it is close to the information service center in Alishan forest and it has an elevator compare to many other ones. Do not think of facities or amenities you expect to get. Decorations are outdated. Bathroom looks a bit dirty and torn tiles. No shuttle bus service down to the transport center where you can get public buses.

While the proximity to Alishan Train Station for catching the sunrise was convenient, unfortunately, our overall experience fell far short of expectations. The contrast between the breathtaking beauty of the Alishan scenic views and the disappointing state of our accommodations was stark and disheartening.Regrettably, the cleanliness and maintenance of the bathroom left much to be desired, with evident neglect and even broken sockets. It was disheartening to encounter such issues when surrounded by the natural splendor of Alishan.

The location was really good and i think it is good value for money. Staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are okay...sound-proofing could be better as you can really hear the conversation of other hotel guests talking along the corridor. Within walking distance from the bus station and the forest train station. But overall, a rather pleasant stay.
