There are two buildings in the villa. On the second floor of the main building are two double-bed rooms and one standard room. Downstairs is the living room, kitchen, dining room and bathroom. The second floor of another building has two rooms, one is a suite, and the other has three beds. The whole villa is very large and can accommodate many people. For breakfast, we bought the ingredients ourselves and ate it in the garden. The villa also provided milk juice and various spices. The butler was also very caring. We also booked a BBQ the next day, one thousand baht per person. It was very hearty and tasted great. This stay was really great.

A 5 stars boutique hotel located in old town, very convinence👍 Right in front is the walking street/ open market on Sunday. There is a school opposite to the hotel. Its rather noisy in the morning as my room is facing to the school, however trouist like us usually wake up early so no big deal. All snackssss/drinksss in the mini bar are free👍👍 includes cokes, beers, 6 bottles of water, lemon tea, chipsss, chocolate. 😅 😁 Afternoon tea by the pool is free too! Very good for those who want to relax in the hotel Staffs are very friendly👍👍

Only down side is the location even though it’s about 6-7 mins walk to Maya and Niemann One, the road is not v nice to walk on and not easy to cross the road, as there are no pedestrian crossing with traffic lights. Arriving here after a long travel day was like seeing an oasis, the large white gates and hotel staff greeted us - taking our bags and directing us where to sign in - all in a very quiet setting (the hotel is always quiet - very little outside noises and staff/guests are considerate of the peaceful atmosphere). Extremely clean, pool was relaxing and refreshing. The grounds was like walking amongst a museum with lighting at night. We had a suite for 4 of us - two master bedrooms joined by a large comfortable living room and a private covered deck where we spent much time reading, sleeping, catching up on our jet lagged bodies. The location is at the heart of many temples and in old city, foot rubs, places to eat, and a wonderful laundry lady across the street who had our clothes cleaner than we've ever had them in 24 hours. The restaurant was elegant, quiet, dinner was accompanied by local live music which was just the right volume. When we return, we will stay here again.

1. No cotton buds & shavers 2. Room is spacious, very clean & bed is very comfortable. 3. Room a bit noisy facing the swimming pool as requested for a quite room 4. The pool is very small just for kids to play around. 5. There was power supply cut for hours due to bad storm however there was no notice circulated to hotel guests. This should a practice for hotel management communication to hotel guests.

I arrived to the hotel and on the outside it looked really nice, and the staff was very nice. The girl who checked me in thow wasn't that great to understand english, so I was lucky to speak some thai. The didn't help you with your bags up to the room, but I didn't mind because I travel with good working bags that has wheels. When I came in the room the first thing that hit me was a bad smell from the toilet. (I was given a room on the top floor 608 to be precise. The size of the room was ok, but the furniture I could see how dirty and worn down rhey where. It looked like something the bought on a fleemarket. Further on I tried the bed it was the worst matress I have ever slept on, not only that the hotel is next to a road and at night it was so noicy from traffic so I didn't get much sleep. Sometimes I woke up and thought I had a motorbike in my room. I had booked a stay for 5 nights, but after 1 night I decided to move. So after one more painful night I checked out from this hotel and will NEVER return again.

We spent a few days in August in this hotel and the truth is that it was excellent value for money. The friendly and decisive staff. Location in the square of Chiang Mai, totally central. On the other hand, the room was cozy, and the pool, although logical because we are in Thailand in the north, there were a lot of mosquitoes, it was clean and the same as the room, cozy and clean. Stopped here a few times, mainly because my Thai in-laws love the place, only because it is so close to the airport. Every visit something was wrong!! Not exactly the cheapest accommodation either.The toilet would not flush in one room, the taps at the bathroom sink turned with the handles in another room. We could not sleep because of the road noise (we were on the 5th floor!) in another room. The wi-fi was non-existent in one room.There was no hot water in another room. Every room the shower trays filled up with soapy water and was very slippery; dangerous in fact. The breakfast was OK for me, nothing flash. Toast, jam, juice, tea, coffee, milo, all the basics. Not real sure why people were climbing through the window to get here though. One lady I saw scraped all the brown off her toast, so that is was just white!!?? (Something to do with Thais believing that toast causes cancer I was told). Loved the sign beside the toaster that actually worked (the other one was broken on every visit and was just sitting there collecting dust). No cancer from that one! Words to this effect: ”Please do not put butter and jam on bread before placing in toaster.” At least the beer from reception 'fridge was cheaper than most shops. Nice and cold too. Gotta love it!

This is our second visit to Chiang Mai. This time my wife and I stayed in The White Elephant Home for two nights. The location is great, very close to old city, only several minutes’ walk. I prefer to stay outside the old city for quiet, clean and comfortable neighbourhood. We booked a room for two and they upgraded us to a family room for three. The room is spacious, new and clean with a lovely balcony. The interior and exterior match the photos and description on the website. Breakfast is freshly cooked and is delicious. We enjoyed it in the lovely garden. The staff are nice and helpful, they have friendly smiles all the time. They speak good English and provided useful information to us in buying Green bus ticket to Chiang Rai. I didn't drive this time but I saw them providing car covers to guests and helped to cover and to remove it. Will definitely stay in The White Elephant Home again if we visit Chiang Mai again. Highly recommend!

What a lovely hotel. We had an absolutely fantastic room with a bath in the corner, was by far the best room we have stayed in so far, and it was only £34 a night with breakfast for 2. Bed was super comfortable, and the roof top swimming pool and bar are excellent, if a little small. Breakfast was limited, but what was on offer was very nice, even had an omelette station. Staff are all friendly and helpful. Only thing letting it down, was the threadbare towels and lack of hand towels, and when I checked under bed to see if I’d left anything, it was filthy, so they obviously only clean what you can see. Having said that, it was the only downside, and we will 100% come back, especially at those prices. It’s not in a bad position either, less than 10 min walk to edge of old town and 30 mins to maya mall.

The environment is better than expected. The bed was clean, the toilet was clean and the public area was clean. But why isn't anyone here? The whole 10-person room, one night I lived in it with another Korean uncle... Because there were few people, the boss simply closed the door when I checked in. I called him and he knew that I was going to stay in 😂. However, the boss is very good, the English is very good, willing to communicate, there is even Chinese WeChat haha ～ Recommended to a local curry noodles nearby, very special and delicious ～ It is also very convenient to go to the airport early the next morning, and take a taxi from the door to the airport. Every time I come to Chiang Mai, I will only stay here. Very good location, close to various places, convenient and fast travel. The room at this price is considered ok. Overall is good. Next time will come to stay again. Here, if you bring a motorcycle or car, you can park right in front. It's very comfortable. Located near Chang Phuak Gate

One of the best hostel - feels like home. My biggest regret is not staying here for a long time. The receptionist, Fai, was very helpful. She can give you the best food recommendations. I also asked her for the tour what she recommended was 50% cheaper than those tour online. She also helped me book a car to the airport 11/10 for this receptionist. As for the hostel itself, I like the ambience like it’s a good place to live. The bed and blankets are comfortable. I like the lighting and the white walls. They also clean every day. There are free candies, too! I also enjoy having conversation with the people here. I will come back soon! P.S. It’s a great location. Near convenient stores and temples.
