I drove through Chenzhou and checked into Chenzhou International Hotel. My first impression was that the parking lot was very narrow and the parking spaces were tight. My second impression was that not all guests who checked in could go for a swim in the swimming pool. There was actually a difference. I booked a room online. I didn't see this description at the time, but fortunately the hotel gave me a swimming ticket for 2 people, so I went to experience it. However, because the hotel swimming pool is not big and open to the public, there are many people and it is very noisy, so the experience is not very good. The room is not bad. Although the decoration is very old, the room is very spacious, especially the bathroom is very large, and the sink is also very large, which is easy to store items. However, since the wardrobe in the room is only separated from the next room by a wooden board, guests in the neighboring room always feel like they are in their own room when opening the wardrobe, and there is very little sound insulation. Went for breakfast at 8:30, and there were not many dishes to choose from. The price is more than 200, which is not bad.

Location - property is located at the fringe of the town, quiet and away from the bustle of city noise. Very new hotel Service - served by Front Office staff Wendy . Polite and pleasant lady . She waived the additional pax breakfast charge for me 👍🏼 Cleanliness - overall cleanliness is pretty good at the lobby and room. However the carpet in my room is stained at the bed area. Amenities- standard amenities and facilities. Gym looks ok but cigarette smell lingering . Maybe due to a smoking fall. I decided not to use and did my run outside . The cafe / restaurant might be a little small. At 720 , I had to wait 15 min for a table to be available. Choice of food western and Chinese fare available . You should give your chef a set of proper uniforms. I observed a 大妈with a chef hat doing topping up of food. This is Hilton and a international brand.

When I first checked in, there was hair everywhere. I wiped it with disinfectant wipes. Less than half an hour after I sat down, the bedside lamp suddenly fell off. It looked like the wire was broken. They asked me to change rooms. After I finally cleaned the room, they didn't agree to change rooms. There was no follow-up. We stayed for two days in total and extended the room on the second day. Ctrip provided a room upgrade service. The lady at the front desk upgraded us to an executive suite for us to experience and it felt great! One bedroom, one living room and two bathrooms, with a bathtub and good hygiene. It happened to be my wife's birthday that day, and the aunt in the restaurant cooked him a bowl of longevity noodles, which was a special surprise. Thank you to the hotel staff for their considerate service to our family. Stayed here for two nights and slept well every night, great reviews.
