Fabulous hotel. Great interior decoration. High quality furnishings. All the staff from concierge, to front desk to housekeeping are extremely helpful and key staff speak English. The rooms are beautiful, well decorated and high quality bedding. It is very quiet and comfortable. There is a Nespresso coffee machine, teapot and free use minibar. The room has an excellent hairdryer and steamer for clothes. The lobby is beautiful and breakfast is top. There is a lovely roof garden to enjoy tea on a sunny day. It is a 10 min taxi ride to Chengdu east station and the hotel is located above the MixC shopping complex.

Very much a “Chinese luxury” hotel, in that it looks nice but is actually very meh. AC barely worked despite it being in the high 20s C. Room service menu times were wrong, so twice I was denied my order despite the menu showing that room service was available. Bed was ok. Bath tub was nice and big, I’ll give them that. Maid service was hit-or-miss, as I didn’t want them to come before noon while I was still in my room, so I had the DND light on, but when I left at 12:30pm and came back at 2am they had not replaced my wet towels as they had the day before with the same scenario.

There is a super convenient thing in the room called Xiao ZAO. You can turn on the light, turn on the TV and open the curtains. Even the air conditioner does not need to be turned on manually. It can also adjust the lights. It’s so convenient. For a lazy person like me, it’s a surprise~ Hahaha! I like the toiletries in this hotel, shampoo, conditioner, shower cap and body lotion. It is thoughtful that you can take it home if you don’t use it up. Other things like sound insulation are also good. I sleep lightly and easily wake up. It was very comfortable to sleep till dawn. Drink a complimentary glass of craft beer in the hotel bar before going to bed at night! Simply invincible and comfortable! highly recommended! ! ! !
