Hotels near People＇s Park in Chengdu

This is my third time staying at Atour. The last time I stayed, I was disappointed by their shampoo. This time I tried to stay at Atour again in Chengdu, maybe because on New Year's Day, the house prices are high and the area is small. There are no windows. Breakfast is also not included. The best is service. The location is really good. Downstairs is Dongsheng Street, which is great for shopping! There are many coffee shops and bookstores. The photos are also super beautiful. Kuanzhai Alley is also nearby. I'll stay here again if I have the chance next time during the off-season.

I had a great time in Chengdu, and that was partly due to this hotel. Checking was smooth and I like that it's from 12:00 instead of the usual 14:00 around the world. There's drinks/tea in the lobby that is nicely decorated. There are seats outside to hang out if you want to. The room looks just like the pictures, and has everything you'd need; it's well stocked with snacks, coffee, tea and water. I had a room facing the street and it's nice and quiet during the evening. It's located in a local area, and there's a convenience store next door, and there are a few restaurants, shops and coffee places within walking distance. It's kind of in the middle between two metro stations, both are close enough to walk and it's easy to find. What made it especially nice for me where the little details, such as a lovely written note by the housekeeping staff adding some tips for the stay, or that the staff rushed over to help me setup the laundry machine and they even brought my self-service laundry to the room after the dryer was finished, so I could carry on with my day and not wait for it, so nice! I'd recommend this hotel if you're staying in Chengdu, and would definitely return if I'm in the area again.

Hygiene: Everything is OK. It is not bad for a newly opened hotel. There are alcohol tablets to clean the toilet. I am very satisfied. Environment: The location is good. It is very close to the People's Park and is very convenient. However, due to the traffic volume, it is quite noisy. When sleeping, the double-layer soundproof glass must be closed. After closing it, the noise is not bad. Service: Average, the basics are in place, it’s just a formality, but it doesn’t really help customers solve their problems. Facilities: I am very satisfied with the dressing mirror and the smart toilet is also very good, but there is definitely something wrong with the air conditioner in 608 The whole incident: the air conditioner in 608 overheated. During the day, the indoor temperature reached 33 degrees with the windows closed (no pictures were taken here). I called the front desk and said that the central air conditioner was not able to do anything. They asked me to open the window to ventilate and turn off the air conditioner. But be careful. As I said before, this hotel will be noisy if you don’t close the windows. From the moment you enter the hotel, all the staff will remind you to close the windows and soundproof. But the front desk gave me such a plan? ? Sleeping with the window open is beyond their imagination. Of course it was still daytime, so I followed the front desk’s advice, turned on the window and turned off the air conditioner, and went out to play. When I came back in the evening, after a whole afternoon of turning off the air conditioner and ventilating, the room temperature was still 30 degrees, and it was too hot at 12 o’clock in the middle of the night. Sleeping proves that the solution provided by the front desk fails. The second time I called the front desk, they still told me that the central air conditioner was like this and couldn't be adjusted. They asked me to find an air cooler for me. It was ridiculous that it wasn't an air conditioner. If I put another electrical appliance in the room, it would only generate more heat and increase the room. The temperature is good! ! Then I asked to change to a thin quilt, and the front desk agreed verbally. After a long time, they gave me a quilt with the same thickness as the standard one in the room. Let me ask you, are your waiters so careless when serving? Just get a thinner quilt? ? Don’t you know what kind of quilt you have in your room? ! It's past 12 o'clock in the middle of the night, which means waiting for half an hour in vain. I suggested again that a thin quilt cover would be fine and was given a quilt cover. But it’s really too hot at 30 degrees with the window open. It’s annoying even if you don’t sleep with short sleeves. Not to mention the temperature will be higher if you close the window. I still can’t sleep well. I should call the front desk to ask if there are similar situations in other rooms and if they can be changed. In other rooms, there are no marginal room heaters that are not as hot. The front desk checked for a long time and said that there was a downgraded double bed room that could be changed to. Then I asked if the room temperature was lower, or if it was the same, the front desk said they didn't know. I would like to ask, it is almost 1 o'clock in the middle of the night. I want to change rooms to cool down. You said that you have a room, but you don't care whether the room temperature is normal. If it is extremely hot again, do you want me to move my luggage in the middle of the night for nothing? ? Finally, at my strong request, the front desk gave me a downgraded room, saying that the room temperature was 27 degrees. We agreed to move there. We went there and saw that the actual temperature in the room was 18 degrees. (I laughed so hard that 27 degrees was not made up or not. How did it come about?) I finally slept in a normal temperature. It was already past one o'clock in the evening. Throughout the above process, it can only be seen that the staff has no real intention to help the guests solve the problem. From the first suggestion to open the window, the guests have to endure the noise, and then there is nothing they can do. The hotel settings, in When guests come up with various solutions to solve their problems, the staff do it in a perfunctory manner. They don't take the initiative to come up with solutions, and even discount the implementation. The whole attitude is just a formality and they don't help solve actual problems. It's really rubbish.

Facilities: The overall facilities are complete. Although the facilities are a bit dated for an older hotel, the overall facilities are clean. The related facilities are complete, silk pajamas are free for guests to use, and free drinks are available in the mini bar. bonus. Service: The response was very timely and the room was upgraded for free. There was a company team building at night when we checked in, and the microphone was quite noisy. I called the front desk to give feedback and it was dealt with immediately. Location: The location is very strategic, just a few minutes' walk from Tianfu Square. Catering: Skim hot milk is provided for breakfast, paired with freshly ground coffee from the restaurant's coffee machine. The taste of homemade latte is no different from that of a professional coffee shop. There are special Chengdu-style stalls with more choices. 

Great location to be able to walk to different areas or catch the subway. Room was comfortable but a lot of noise and very thin walls. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Shower water could be hotter. Otherwise if you want a cost effective stay with good breakfast and really friendly staff then I would recommend this hotel. A lot of restaurants around it and about 1 km walk to kuanzhai alley or jinli. Where you can get amazing street food.

The room facilities are complete and the environment is very clean. The front desk staff is super nice. There is also a free laundry room here. I just forgot to bring a lint remover, but they still provide it. It's great! There is also a gym and a reading room. There is also bottled water for you to take, and free tea is provided at all times. The location is right next to the main road, which is very convenient. . It's a short walk to People's Park. I also asked the front desk to help me collect the express delivery. I really thank the front desk ladies.

Dorsett Chengdu proved to be a wonderful base for my trip. Great location steps from the metro, comfortable room, and most importantly great service. Especially from 孙明 (Lucas) - he spoke good English and helped me greatly during my stay. Staff like him are what made the property feel special.

Stayed 2 nights at first and extend 2 more nights at this hotel. Got free cocacola and sprite and 4 mineral waters. Free to ask for more mineral waters and coke. Good service, metro is just right in front of the hotel's front door. Very near to kuanzhai alleys.

Our experience at the hotel was very good We loved the decorations, the location is awesome, breakfast was great too! All the things in the room were of a good quality too: tea, shampoo, conditioner etc everything left a very good impression The staff is incredibly nice and helpful. They let us do a late check out. This hotel is in a great location. Great variety of breakfast options. Rooms were extremely spacious, clean and comfortable with generous snacks provided daily during our stay. Clean bathroom and amenities which includes a small item washing machine. Would recommend this hotel for anyone travelling in Chengdu. p.s. love the panda channel on the tv!
