Chengdu Chenghua District Hotels

For the cost every night, booking here to solo visit Chengdu is extremely worth it. It is about a 7-8 minute walk from the subway, which can get you to about every nearby attraction you want (exceptions being mountains, larger streets, etc) There is also a huge mall and plenty of street food right outside the hotel one street over. Truly a great and experience for an extremely reasonable price.

Part of Longemont chain of hotels so all amenities like pool, gym and spa are shared. Love the fact that you can directly from your room, all the way to Chengdudong station without ever leaving the hotel, although it takes some exploration. Received free upgrade so thanks to the team. You get the view of HSRs so that’s fun. Black tea, coffee, creamer and refrigerator are not provided in the room but that’s a common occurrence in China and HK.

Felt abit disappointed because service is not top tier. As you can see from the images the fridge requires us to plug in electricity (see chinese characters) before it works. we could not find the plug and called the reception. He sounded reluctant to come to the room to help us. I told him we prefer him to setup for us since we are afraid to damage the facility since it was not easy to find the plug. the guy came up with a sour face and he did help us with setup but very cold attitude. oh well... thats your job right...our request is not unreasonable, we also didnt scold him or gave him attitude etc. but why he gave us attitude right? we also enquired where is the post service nearby the hotel and they told us to search using our phone. 😐 but hotel facilities wise were great and cute with the bear designs. hotel staff needs further upskilling in terms of customer service and professionalism. location of hotel is convenient too, it is near many shops, walking distance to chunxi road.

This time I brought my baby to Chengdu to see pandas. I chose this Yinshu Hotel (Chengdu Panda Base Branch). The location is very close to the panda base, which is very convenient! The hotel is novel and fashionable, the environment is fresh and elegant, and it is surrounded by green plants, which makes people feel comfortable. The facilities are very considerate. I stayed in a lazy bed room. The smart sleep-aid mattress is great. The baby slept very well. The smart thermostatic toilet is also easy to use. The hygiene is meticulous and the room is spotless. There is also a robot service, which the children chased and played with. The front desk was also enthusiastic and responded to any needs in seconds. It is cost-effective and I will stay here again next time!

1. 5mins walk from Chengdu East railway stn. 2. The counter staff were friendly and able to provide a solution about the warm temperature in my room. The staff at the restaurant counter seems not well trained about the hotel facility, and the male staff outside the hotel (zebra crossing junction) were unfriendly as there wasn't an eye contact when I asked him for advise pertaining to taxi booking. 3. Breakfast were overpriced. 4. Room and toilet were spacious, this was the only hotel I didnt worry about wet flooring after shower during my vacation in China between 12Mar-28Mar.

This hotel location is perfect for those who need quick and easy access to Chengdu East Railway Station and the metro station. It's just right across the street from the station on the East Square side. There is also an underground pedestrian tunnel linking the hotel complex with the railway station directly. From the basement level of the hotel complex, use the elevator to go up to the ground/first floor of Longemont Hotel. Please note that this is Longemont Hotel lobby, not Rayfont Hotel, but follow the sign that directs you to Rayfont's lobby. It's a bit tricky but it's not too hard to find, or you can ask the hotel staff. My guess is that these hotels are under the same corporation. There's also a convenient store/gift shop next to the lobby. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. They provided you with 4 bottles of water, which is great. The water pressure in the shower was excellent. The window area didn't face the railway station directly, which is a blessing, so there was no noise coming from the station. I had a comfortable sleep.

This hotel is a must stay for visit to Chengdu. The staff's service level are very high. Rooms are clean and well maintained. I stayed at this hotel during the Christmas period and my wife enjoyed her stay very much. We even got an upgrade, thanks to the courtesy of the counter staff. The food at the Chinese restaurant is also amazing.

The room was clean and tidy, and the air conditioning was fantastic. My two kids loved it and slept well. It's very convenient for taking the train. There's a barbecue market and a hair salon downstairs, so the surrounding area is very convenient! The front desk lady put some fruit in my refrigerator. I'll come again next time!

The room is clean and hygienic. There is a subway station downstairs, which is very close to all the attractions. There are also many delicious foods. The service of the front desk lady is also very attentive. Five-star praise.

The hotel facilities were fine and clean except for a faint but noticeable cigarette smell. We checked in around 11pm so we made up with it. We picked this hotel because it was not far from the Panda Base and it was indeed convenient to go. There is good street food options around. The breakfast terrace is pretty enjoyable as well although food is average. The main issue is that as foreigners, we used our passports to check in. But then they called our room at 2.30am saying there was a problem with our check in. When I asked if it could wait till morning (since we had checked in a few hours ago already) they said it was not possible. They then came to knock at our door. After a good deal of explanations (in Chinese) which they didn't want to listen, we got back to sleep. But we didnt sleep well as we were distressed by this incident. Apparently the hotel was not well aware of the visa-free policy applying to us. This in itself is understandable but waking us up to check is not acceptable. They should have come to us before we got to sleep.
