Friendly staff. Big bathroom. Next to Jinjiang River and close to Lounge Bridge 廊桥. Pretty far to Tianfu airport, Shuangliu Airport is closer.

Front desk Gloria is very enthusiastic and polite, making the stay a very pleasant experience; although the decoration style is from ten years ago, the hotel service and facilities are very good, and the location is also excellent, with a river downstairs, offering a beautiful night view.

The hotel is in good location, clean, people are friendly as are other people in Chengdu. We have good experience with Grace Guo in Cafe K, very helpful and friendly, a very good person and SL employee, thank you Grance!!! So we indeed have few meals in Cafe K.
However, the experience in Chinese restaurant 香宫 is awful, food is not good and the tea is so expensive, they charged us RMB250 for a pot of Chinese tea, the red wine is RMB240, omg, very bad. We would not go there again, I mean 香宫.

Not very near to metro station. But location is good if you take taxi, not far from dongzhimen

Breakfast service is open from 6am. Arrived at 645am, no staff in service and table are not cleaned up.

We hadn’t tried Shangri-La Hotels before. But this will not be the last. Great food at the buffet for breakfast and dinner. Great service and staff all-round!

Definitely not what I expected from a hotel that was reviewed and ranked this high. Stayed in 5-Star hotels for over 10 days during a business trip throughout China, and this was by far the worst. Rooms were old, staff was not 5-Star, and breakfast was way below the previous places that I reserved.

Overall, services are excellent! Starting from reception, breakfast cafe, horizon club, house keeping, all staff we met are friendly, attentive and responsive. Special credits to the house keeping lady and male manager who took charge at the horizon club. We stayed at Shangrila Chengdu from 27 Dec - 31 Dec 2023. Highly recommended!!

The room was clean and comfortable and the view was wonderful.
All staff were polite and gentle.
The restaurants are also awesome.
In particular, I would like to express my admiration and gratitude to Ms. Yvonne for her kindness to us.
