"The hotel was really lovely, especially the location was top class being close to the river and to the palace as well as the city centre. The staff was really helpful and friendly as well. As for the room it was spotless and even though we got given a smoking room it didn't smell. All in all pleasant experience."

"Highly recommend. We live in China and have stayed in a few different cities/hotels now and this was by far the best. The building is historic and beautiful and extremely well maintained. The rooms feel brand new and are very thoughtfully laid out. The room comes with all kinds of small conveniences in case you forgot something or need something. The staff were all extremely helpful and welcoming, from the front office staff to the housekeeping to the repair men. We arrived late on a stormy night and they went out of their way to help us figure out dinner. When the weather got worse and spoiled our plans, the staff did everything they could to rescue the weekend, even at the hotels expense. We plan to come back again when the weather is nicer and will 100% stay here. I can't imagine why you would stay anywhere else, especially if you're there to sightsee. The hotel opens directly into the park, it's wonderful."

"Pros: - Helpful, responsive and friendly staff. - Delicious restaurant ! Love their food. - There are McD and BK nearby if you want to have fast food during the trip. Cons: - There was a gecko coming out from the tent in our parent child room. It went under the bed and we couldn't find it. The first night, I couldn't sleep because of afraid it would come to us. When we searched the gecko, we saw plastic and bottle under the bed. I guess they don't clean the room properly. Conclusion : Overall this hotel is good for us during our Chengde trip. We're happy. "老闆娘特別好，飯菜做的特別好吃。還能自己燒烤，可以自己帶食材，老闆提供爐子。來這裏團建聚會都是不錯的選擇，ktv、棋牌室、休閑區樣樣都有。吃喝玩樂都行。 一共有三個獨棟的樓 樓間距都挺大的，而且隔音效果特別好，帶着家裡一家老來玩，享受閑暇時光是可以的。房間也挺大的。全都是獨立衞浴。來這邊度個假，修個閑非常自在。對了帶孩子要去隆承水世界和大馬戲團的也可以在來這邊住。很近而且老闆還可以幫忙訂便宜的票。"
