"The hotel's location is superb, making it incredibly convenient to reach all attractions. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming! Breakfast offered a rich variety and superb quality. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was also fantastic; the food was wonderfully cooked and delicious. Even as a Southerner, I found the flavors perfectly to my liking! The cleanliness was also impeccable. This hotel is undoubtedly the top choice when visiting Chengde, and its number one ranking is absolutely justified!"

"New hotel, with spotless facilities and friendly staff. It's very close to the Chengde South Station, which is handy for high speed trains - though is a bus ride or taxi ride away from downtown Chengde and the Mountain Resort area. (Bus 29 takes you down there, but takes a while). Breakfast was good, and there are snacks in reception wheel you come back. The restaurant is only open in the morning - no bar/other facilities, but there are places to eat/shop nearby, though the area feels very new and developing. It was a great choice for me as I came in and out of Chengde South Station and I used the hotel as my base."

"Booked this hotel online and saw a pick-up service. But after arriving at Chengde South Station, it was already more than 7 pm. After their pick-up service time. I contacted the front desk and the boss personally drove to the South Station to pick up the station. I was very touched. Hotel facilities are relatively new. Breakfast is quite rich. Clean and hygienic. Forgot to take pictures? Facilities: relatively complete Hygiene: good Environment: acceptable Service: excellent."

"Stayed over for one night at the Hilton Garden Inn hotel at Chengde. The entrance to the hotel was congested with cars. The parking attendance in front of the hotel wasn't really helpful when my driver dropped us off to check in to the hotel. What he cares was just faster unload and removed the car form that area. He offered no help at all. I was not sure if the parking attendance was employed by the Hilton hotel. If yes then the service was really not up par with the Hilton standard for customer service standard. We carried one large luggages and few smaller bags. We have to carry it over few flights of stairs to get in to the hotel entrance. The sliding path to get into the hotel entrance was not located in front of the hotel entrance but was hidden at the side that was obscured or partially blocked by the parking car at the front. The reception lady was very friendly though. We were given high floor and she scanned my WeChat to easy contact with the hotel later. The hotel room was very spacious and beautiful but the room was stuffy. Only one tiny small window was able to open a little bit to let the outside air go in. The afternoon temperature was as high as 25 degrees Celcius and rather HOT inside the room. We cannot adjust the aircon in the room as it is central setting! Called to the reception to ask why the room air con can't be adjusted and it seems not working but was told it is central setting. Well, you paid a lots to stay at the hotel without proper ventilation but to rely on the outside air to go in the tiny window. Despite the hotel facility was complete but we still cannot really enjoy and sleep comfortably as we felt HOT. The hotel separates the bathroom from toilet. The washing basin was outside of the bathroom. The breakfast was good with lots of variety. After checking out, I realised I might have left my traveller adaptor in the room. Immediately Isent a text to the hotel via WeChat but to my disappointment, it took two days for them to reply my message asking me to self contact the front desk counter to ask yourself?! What kind of service of that??? Asking hotel guest to add them on WeChat but still asking us to self call the front desk? Not all tourists will have local Sim card to make phone call. That is really a disappointment. They should have offered a better service by checking with the front desk counter and then get back to us via WeChat. This Hilton is definitely still a long way to go to achieve better rating. The hotel is closed to q night market that offers lots of street foods. There was one food stall that offer very palatable Chu Cheong fun. The experience was not pleasant for my one night stay."

"Love this place ! Stayed 3 separate times. Once last year and twice this year. Nicest hotel so far in china I’ve been to. Honestly can’t beat this hotel for the price. I went before the 7 day holiday and during it. Was way more expensive during it but still amazing Modern, friendly, great bathrooms, customer service and an insane breakfast Wife mentioned we are repeat customers and they gave us free spa coupon which was great."

"There were all kinds of reviews online, and I was quite worried before staying there, but after arriving, I thought it was okay. The location is highly recommended, right in the heart of Chengde, a ten-minute walk from the Mountain Resort, and with several shopping malls. The decor is relatively new, with smart guestroom controls. The front desk staff was very friendly and recommended how to visit the Eight Outer Temples, which one is worth going inside. Just taking a photo outside was enough. We were very satisfied with this. We arrived by high-speed rail, and my friends drove, which was very inconvenient. They had to park across the street and walk back in the hot weather. Overall, I was very satisfied. Hotel prices in Chengde during peak season are not low, so it's a good value."

From the moment you step into the hotel, you can feel the attentiveness: the front desk staff Xu Wenjing is enthusiastic and patient, quickly checks you in and recommends nearby food; the room is clean and tidy, the bedding is soft and skin-friendly, and all smart devices are available. The breakfast has a rich variety, a reasonable mix of Chinese and Western styles, and the taste is great. The location is super convenient. Highly recommended, I will definitely choose this one next time I come here!"

"Our first visit to Chengde left us with a truly wonderful impression, starting with the warm welcome at the hotel's front desk. Though the hotel entrance isn't grand, the service provided by the two young ladies at the front desk was absolutely five-star caliber. They patiently explained potential itineraries and offered incredibly thoughtful service. The front desk even upgraded our two rooms and thoughtfully arranged for us to stay right next door to each other. While the rooms aren't spacious, they are fully equipped and very cozy. Housekeeping, in particular, was exceptional; even the remote controls had fresh protective film. The genuine warmth and thoughtfulness of the local people made us feel incredibly comfortable. Chengde truly lives up to its reputation as a welcoming city rich in history and culture. We'll definitely be back for another visit!"

The hotel is really close to the scenic area and is convenient to travel. White bedding, the overall hygiene is clean and refreshing.
