Chengde Hotels with Wifi

Highly recommend. We live in China and have stayed in a few different cities/hotels now and this was by far the best. The building is historic and beautiful and extremely well maintained. The rooms feel brand new and are very thoughtfully laid out. The room comes with all kinds of small conveniences in case you forgot something or need something. The staff were all extremely helpful and welcoming, from the front office staff to the housekeeping to the repair men. We arrived late on a stormy night and they went out of their way to help us figure out dinner. When the weather got worse and spoiled our plans, the staff did everything they could to rescue the weekend, even at the hotels expense. We plan to come back again when the weather is nicer and will 100% stay here. I can't imagine why you would stay anywhere else, especially if you're there to sightsee. The hotel opens directly into the park, it's wonderful.

We were warmly welcomed on checking in, and were pleasantly surprised to be given a complimentary upgrade, followed by a room with a waterfront view. The travel desk offered private English-speaking tours to various locations; we took the tour to the famed Mountain Resort 避暑山庄. Hospitality provided by the reception desk was graciously warm. All-in-all, I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone staying over, even if it were just for 1 night.

Affordable and value for money stay in the heart of Cheng De city. The check in process was very quick even for me who is a non-PRC citizen. The room was very clean and tidy but the bed could be more comfortable. All amenities such as a toothbrush, towel, shower cap and soap provided. The toilet is spacious and comes with a strong lamp heater. However the toilet might be a bit old. The staff is friendly and even gave me a free upgrade to a window room. They greeted me when I went out of the hotel and when I went back.

Hotel within walking distance to Chengde Mountain Resort . Lot of restaurants and shopping street around the hotel. Hotel room is spacious. Bed is very comfortable. Have a good sleep after long walk at Mountain Resort and surrounding temples. Breakfast has lot of variety.

The room is clean and bright, with a good view. It is in a residential area, not facing the street, and very quiet. There are tents, dolls, building blocks, and picture books in the room, so children can play by themselves for a long time. The service was very good and attentive. The Chinese restaurant on the second floor is cost-effective and tastes good.

The location is good, very close to Chengde South Station, and also very close to the Summer Resort by car. I booked a superior double room. Because there were elderly people traveling with me, I asked the hotel to stay on the same floor before checking in. The hotel front desk upgraded me to a luxurious double room without saying a word. In the bed room, the sofa in the room can be pulled out to become a single bed. It is especially convenient for us traveling with two children. The room is clean and tidy, and the cleaning staff is very good. Maybe they saw children in the room and gave it to us. Disposable face towels, soaps, etc. are added; the elevator entrance on the 4th floor where you stay is right next to the gym and laundry room, with 3 washing machines and 3 dryers, which can be dried in half an hour; the most satisfying thing is the buffet breakfast. There is a wide variety of drinks, coffee, cold dishes and hot dishes, and the service is very good. I will definitely stay here again next time I come to Chengde. Highly recommended.

Good location, clean hotel, nice breakfast. The hotel even deliver dessert to the room after dinner time. I have parcel not able to reach the hotel and the receptionist, 赵丽伟and her colleagues were helping me to contact the delivery man to make sure my parcel can arrive hotel on time. Really appreciate their help on this matter. Overall, it is recommended to stay in this hotel in Chengde.

A compromise hotel between price, quality and proximity to tourist features. Can get here from the fast train station via bus 67 to the (old) train station, then bus 28 stops right outside. Hotel is quiet, clean, good wifi. Only disposable towels offered, they were crap 40 years ago and still crap. Breakfast for CNY 18 very ordinary. I went to McDonald's, 600m to the left. Bus #6 to the upper attractions and bus#10 gets you close to the hammer rock site. There's a great restaurant just down hill on your left and a supermarket just past it. As with the hotel, restaurant and tourist attractions, medium Chinese language skills preferred.

It is late autumn, and my wife and I decided to seize the last opportunity for tourism in the north to visit Chengde. I booked a two-night stay at the Atour Hotel in the Mountain Resort on October 23 and 24 on Ctrip. The high-speed rail from Beijing Chaoyang Station to Chengde takes only 59 minutes, which is in line with the slogan: ”So close and so beautiful, go to Hebei on weekends”. Of course, for us elderly people, off-peak travel is the best choice. On the morning of the 23rd, we took a taxi from Chengde South Station to Atour Hotel. As soon as we got off the car, the security guard helped us take the box into the lobby. The front desk clerk immediately poured hot tea to greet us. Miss Zhao quickly arranged for us to check in and gave us the treatment of upgrading the room, so that we immediately got a good rest. I have stayed at Atour Hotel three times in the past, and its service quality has left me with a good impression. This time I stayed at Atour Hotel in Chengde, and I once again felt the experience of being at home. Whether it is the front desk, restaurant, or room waiters, they are very dedicated and professional. They treat guests warmly and repeatedly tell us to call if we have anything. They also send two bottles of warm bottled water when we check out. The hotel is located in the city center, surrounded by many shopping malls and restaurants, as well as a lively night market, but the overall environment is quiet. The transportation is very convenient, and you don't even need to use a taxi app. There are taxis waiting outside. The taxi management in Chengde is very standardized. No matter how far you go, you must use the meter when you get on the taxi. The hotel is very close to the Summer Resort. It takes less than 10 minutes to walk to the main gate of the resort. Because of this, my wife and I visited the resort twice on the 24th and 25th. Finally, the hotel's breakfast is great! Xiao Yang from the reservation department offered praise, called many times to confirm the needs, and tried his best to meet the requirements. The children liked it very much. Hotel location: More than ten minutes' drive from Chengde South Station, ten minutes' walk from Wanda, and across the courtyard is Rehe Spa The facilities are very new and look like a high-end hotel. The hotel beds are on the hard side, the pillows and quilts are good, and the hygiene is good. Swimming pool: The swimming pool facilities on the 22nd floor are good. The water has no smell, but it is not particularly clean. The water temperature is low and the depth is 1.2-1.5. Bring your own swimming ring or buy one. The children have a great time. Breakfast: It's pretty average. It's not as good as the reviews, but it's not too bad either. If you don't have high hopes, you won't be disappointed. It is recommended to add local specialties. Environment: Children can feed the fish in the Chinese-style courtyard over there, and the colorful lights at the door are nice. Spa: The hotel provides spa tickets, and everything there is free of charge. The price of drinks is good, less than 8 yuan, and the price of meals is okay, but a bit salty. The service is good and enthusiastic, and the equipment is new and clean. The children had a lot of fun soaking in the pool. There is a naughty castle and a sand pool for children, and they need to buy socks. The waiter will help look after the children. Disadvantages: The elevator door does not sense and may be pinched. There is no need to give a bottle of water as a souvenir. Will recommend to friends, worth coming again.
