On 15th September, I had a fabulous one night stay at this very modern hotel. Impressed by the design of the room and hotel and friendly, helpful staff. I was impressed by the Deputy manager Alina, Callum and Ester who put a lot of effort to help me connect my mobile to the wifi. Despite several attempts, my mobile couldnt connect but was still thankful to the staff for persisting and enjoyed my chat with them. Got great advice from Alina on managing staff :) Thanks to the General manager Ashan (apologies if i got your name wrong) as well for allowing us to check in earlier as i wasn' t feeling well. I enjoyed the breakfast and the range of food options on offer. I would recommend this hotel as its also close to shops and amenities. Take care Nards x

I wish I could say it lived up to the price-tag of the room... but from my experience, my stay did NOT fully live up to a five-star night away. The grounds are STUNNING. I have to point that out first and foremost. The breakfast room, bar, reception and the lounge are immaculate. The lounge bearing the fireplace and stone walls feel like an untouched visit back to the 1850's, and you honestly feel like you've stepped into a time machine. I was actually anxious about the visit, as I'd had a couple of issues with misunderstandings with the website as I felt that the offers combined with the layout and navigation of the site had been unintentionally misleading. (I thought I'd stepped onto an incredible bargain with the couple's retreat offer, but I was misguided. This isn't necessarily any one individual's fault as tech often has teething issues and I understand this is being resolved). I had also been regularly checking the site and noticed continual drops in the room prices, but the staff would amend this when I would advise them. I was actually originally due to pay £369 for the comfortable double, which is the lowest grade room, but my own research and common sense allowed me to amend this as I later found the same date, and a better room for a cheaper price. It was fortunate I checked the site frequently. I had purposefully booked directly with the hotel as one of the benefits had been noted as room upgrades. Upon arrival, I requested such, but when I advised I was just staying the one night, I was told it would be a £30 charge to upgrade (it may have been pp, but I forget). Had I been aware of this, I would've accepted a better rate on booking.com or such. I was very disappointed to hear this and felt a little mislead. We opted out, noting that I was already spending a lot of money during a financially difficult time. The room was underwhelming, with the electronic access fob being cracked covered in flicks of paint, a very small television for the cost of the room, and an aged writing desk. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was lovely, even though part of the handheld shower head was missing a piece of white ceramic/plastic from the handle. I also noted that one of the main light switches on the dual setting didn't work and the knob actually came off in my hand. Positively, my boyfriend was left a lovely selection of handmade chocolates and a card for his birthday, which was a kind gesture. We also had a pleasant view of our little complex of rooms, and the room was flawlessly cleaned and recently re decorated (except the desk). The spa facilities were lovely, and I really appreciated the outdoor pool drinks service! Incredibly relaxing. Intimate, but peaceful. We did, however, find that our eyes were burning after 5 minutes in the jacuzzi. We understand that due to the heat of the jacuzzi combined with bacteria, a higher dose of chlorine is required than in a typical swimming pool, but this was uncomfortable and the

All the staff were polite, helpful and always had a smile. We had a wheelchair accessible room, which had plenty of space, and the wet room had plenty of handles. There was no air conditioning, which was not a problem during our stay, but might be an issue in the Summer. Only problem was the restaurant. The breakfast choice was not bad, but the hot buffet was not always hot, and there seemed to be a wait for replenishment of items. The menu did not have a huge ammount of choice, and when we met up with friends, who have allergies various items were unavailable. To be fair, the chef was very good and produced an alternative that was not on the menu.

Stayed here for one night this weekend. Had such a lovely and memorable stay. My sister advised the hotel that it was my birthday and they really added the personal touch to make me feel special. Special thanks goes to Erin in the spa who was so lovely and welcoming, he is a real asset to your hotel. Our room was lovely overlooking the gardens. Great location to explore Cheltenham as only a short taxi ride away. We had a spa treatment and used the pool area which were all nice. All staff we spoke we were friendly and welcoming. The cookie on arrival is also a nice touch. I would definitely return to this hotel 😊

The address location is not in which tourist town, it is here to experience the manor life of the English countryside. The hotel occupies a huge area, and has not finished shopping for more than half an hour. Many ancient buildings and sculptures. The restaurant is super beautiful and can be used for lunch and dinner here. For breakfast, only take cold food, and the meal will be paid separately. Service is very good, butler style. The room is actually a three-story duplex, the style is more beautiful than the rural mix, but the three floors will be a little inconvenient. Other big room types are not available at the time. Travel to the town attractions for a chartered tour. In short, the trip is worthwhile and the memory is profound. Looking for a different English country rich experience, come here!
