BORDER CROSSING! I needed to cross at the border die to Covid restrictions in Canada. The hotel staff at check in and in the morning were great! The morning guy at the front desk recommended a taxi service that was Fantastic! (Frank at Airport Taxi Service) Frank drove me to my Drive-Through Covid test at Brighton-Eggert and back, then arranged another driver to take me across the border. Got my NAAT test result by email in just 40 minutes! Room was clean, etc etc. Due to Covid safety, The boxed breakfast is what it is - Can’t take away points because it’s not their normal business practice. It served its purpose giving me the fuel I needed to stay the day!

Close to the airport, 24-hour shuttle bus, very convenient! The room is clean! Good breakfast, omelet and homemade snacks son like it! McDonald's is nearby, and eating fast food is also very convenient.

We decided to go to Buffalo for a weekend of chicken wings and shopping. Sleep Inn is perfect for that, as Bar-Bill, Duff's, Walden Galleria, and Wegmans are less than 10 minutes away. The hotel was quiet and clean. Our room on the 3rd floor was spacious, with 2 double beds and a pull out couch. It was perfect for the 3 of us. The complimentary breakfast included the usual items such as scrambled eggs, potatoes sausages, waffles, fruit, bagels, etc. and the food was always hot. Breakfast was served from 4:30am to 9:30am. The dining area was very clean. We will definitely stay here again.

The hotel is very good, I recommend it, the environment, the bar, etc. are OK, the room is also very big, much better than going to Japan, the breakfast is a bit simple, maybe the old beauty doesn't matter.

It is a relatively old-fashioned hotel type, but the English at the front desk has to be very standard, there are not many types of breakfast, but it fully meets the needs, the proprietress and each table say hello and chat, the surrounding environment is also very good, unfortunately did not go shopping.

The room is OK, the breakfast is very simple, there is no problem with eating, the front desk has always had coffee and tea and hot water. There is nothing around, but there is a Chinese restaurant not far from the car that is delicious.

There are breakfast, usually American scrambled eggs and boiled eggs, as well as sausage and ham. You can also make some waffles yourself. There are three kinds of cereals. There are two kinds of fruits. Basically, there are drinks, like juice or milk. The hotel has a washing machine and dryer, and each floor has it. Washing machine 8 25 cents wash once, the dryer is 4 25 cents. If you don't have enough cents, you can go to the front desk to change. Baggage can also be stored at the front desk without any fees. There is a parking lot.

We stayed at The Sleep Inn Buffalo Amherst on September 14/15th (one night) 2022 in Room 514. First impression of the place pretty clean and inviting though a little dark and slightly outdated. The receptionist, Melanie, was outstanding, super friendly and followed through with all our requests. She made our stay exceptional! As far as the room - adequate. There are a few MINOR maintenance and housekeeping issues that should be addressed to make the room better: 1. The bathroom toilet paper dispenser had used up roll of paper on it with only one use remaining! It had the customary “v” fold so I know housekeeping saw it but let it fly. See photo below. 2. Speaking of “fly” there was a fly buzzing around in the room when we first entered. Very annoying. Had to swat it. 3. The bathroom light (not the shower) works but intermittently. It takes a few tries to get it to come on. Probably the switch needs replaced. 4. The bathroom door does not lock from inside. Needs slight adjustment. 5. The shower head pipe coming from the wall has a cover plate that will not stay in place and slides out from the wall and falls on the shower head. 6. At the bottom of the shower door, inside and outside, there is an ugly buildup of mold/mildew. Needs cleaned better. 7. The room has a slight mildew odor and smells like feet. Maybe it needs a good shampooing. Overall, a pleasant stay. The breakfast, on Sept 15, was much better than we expected. Plenty of everything to make for a great breakfast. The dining area employee (did not catch her name, from Cambodia) was super nice and friendly and talked to us at length and asked us how our stay was; which was overall great!
