The hotel is a quaint place in the heart of historic downtown Charleston. Wonderful breakfast! However, we forgot a bottle of wine we had purchased in the room and they failed to inform us even though we didn’t get our car from valet for several hours after checkout AND they identified us as the people that checked out when we picked it up. Sure, it was our fault that we forgot it but I expected a higher level of service from this hotel.

Loved our stay, below are a few things to improve upon: 1. Booked a King, hotel received reservation for a Queen. 2. No way to darken the room, light filtered in greatly from Plantation shutters and from the hallway light through the door.

I stayed two nights at the Inn, having moved from another inn that had no common area. I liked everything about it: it was clean, bottled water and coffee maker in the room, warm breakfast and social every afternoon. I'd stay there again. It's very close to King Street, steps from Charleston Market, in the heart of the historic district.

Very pleasant stay & great location Overall we had a very nice stay. The location was amazing, the room was a nice size, and the breakfast, free cookies and wine and cheese were great. The wine and cheese "bartender/server" and kitchen staff were particularly nice, as was Mike the valet. The two negatives were that housekeeping didnt vacuum or clean the floor. It seems they just made beds, changed towels and cleaned out garbage bags but didn't clean any surfaces. Also, it was very annoying having to valet the car especially when the parking lot was literally directly next to the building. There was no reason to not allow people to just park their own car and get it whenever they wanted to.

Great stay at the Andrew Pinkney Inn. Rooms were clean with nice decor and bathroom. We made a mistake and upgraded to the townhouse which had a sofa bed. This was not comfortable at all and squeaked every time you moved in bed which was not conducive to a good night's sleep. In hindsight we should have stuck with a 2x double room, which I'm sure would have been a better option. It was good to have breakfast included and the food on offer - and the room it was served in - was excellent

A very well situated Hotel for visiting everything in Charleston. Popular places to visit and great restaurants nearby. Valet parking at the hotel is very helpful. Hotel doesn't have a pool or onsite bar, but there are plenty nearby. I found the staff very helpful and couldn't do enough for us. Hotel is very clean, with no problems that I could see. If you like your wine, there is a complimentary wine and cheese event with other residents every day between 4-5pm and we met some lovely people there. Miss Cythnia who supervised breakfast most mornings was a lovely, friendly woman who made you feel so at home and welcome. We stayed in a Junior Suite which had plenty of room and everything you needed. I would highly recommend this hotel to stay at. I would recommend this

Excellent Hotel I enjoyed my stay very much. The hotel is beautiful and perfectly situated in walking distance to the City Market. The complimentary breakfast was excellent. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean and updated. Very nice and I would stay here again. I rated comfort 4 stars for one reason alone - I took 2 showers while I was there and neither time was I able to get the water to warm up to barely above freezing. I like hot showers and thoroughly hated both showers because the water would not warm up no longer how long I left it running. To be fair, I was there on business and only stayed one night, so I did not take the time to report the issue to the front desk. The staff was very friendly and helpful, so they probably would have at least tried to correct the issue if I brought it to their attention at the time I was there.
