Top 5-Star Hotels in Chaozhou

The hotel was good for business travellers in Chaozhou. The room was clean and comfortable. The staffs were helpful and friendly, especially thanks to Jia Jia and Angel to help my booking when I needed to extend my stay.

Chaozhou Hanting Villa Resort Hotel is a garden-style hotel located next to Guangji Tower and Guangji Bridge. It is extremely convenient to visit Paifang Street and Chaozhou Ancient City. You can walk to the riverside viewing point within five minutes to watch the Guangji Bridge light show at night, which can save most of the fatigue of the journey and allow you to enjoy a very pleasant Chaozhou tour. The hotel is run very seriously and attentively. Whether it is hotel design, garden, materials, or supplies, they are all first-class. I especially want to praise the store manager and service staff. The service is considerate and makes people feel like they are back home. You must come to Chaozhou once in your life, and you must stay at Hanting Villa at least once when you come to Chaozhou.

1. Hardware equipment: The room is quite big but feels old. It opened 20 years ago but only 4 years old. I feel that the hotel has some problems with maintenance. The two sockets at the head of the bed cannot be charged. I called an engineer to check but he couldn't find anything. The engineer was very amateur and casual. It felt like a plumber working part-time here. Other facilities and equipment are in line with the characteristics of local hotels. 2. Environment: The location is in a dilapidated old street. The parking lot is a different world. Parking is very convenient. Open the window and you will see ruins downstairs... It's quite creepy. 3. Service: The front desk and the guest room are quite enthusiastic, which is a plus. The breakfast coupons are also good. The classic Cantonese-style morning tea tastes quite authentic!!

This is a ”low-key luxury, niche and local” hotel. In the ancient city of Chaozhou, it is not difficult to find a unique B&B or hotel, but it is not easy to find one with Chaozhou cultural characteristics. Instead, you need to find the attentive service, environment and immersive experience of a five-star hotel. For a cultural experience, I believe there is only one Chaozhou Royal Hotel in Chaozhou. Unlike ordinary Internet celebrity hotels, the hotel will not be open to non-hotel guests or restaurant guests. This is a good thing for guests because you will not see the entire lobby filled with tourists calling in. Starting from the hotel gate, you can completely separate yourself from the busy streets of the ancient city and enjoy another world. Many people have already mentioned the thoughtful details of check-in, so I won’t go into details here. What particularly surprised me was the cultural experience arranged by the hotel. We stayed for three nights in total and participated in three different cultural experiences, including Teochew opera, colored porcelain experience and making red peach trees. They are not ordinary superficial experiences. The teachers in each project are representatives of the field. You can have in-depth communication with them and learn the foundation of Chaozhou traditional culture. It is particularly worth mentioning that the teacher of the Colored Porcelain Experience is a national-level intangible cultural heritage inheritor. I really benefited a lot from studying with him for a whole morning. Another thing that must be mentioned is the hotel's breakfast provision. In addition to the breakfast that can be delivered to the room, there is also a taste-seeking tour with the hotel butler in the streets in the morning, which is a very down-to-earth gourmet experience. So, even if the price seems not cheap, as long as you have stayed there, you will know that it is worth the money, because you are not just staying in a hotel, but in a living dictionary of Chaozhou culture!

Overall, we had a great experience with this hotel. Although the hotel is not in a prime location, it is just 12 minutes drive to the Ancient Town. The hotel had a relaxing atmosphere with beautiful landscape garden and a lovely Japanese koi pool. Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The front desk staff team was friendly, helpful and attentive. We also booked a car for an excursion trip with this hotel to Nan'ao Island. Xiao Chung, went above and beyond to make our our trip memorable. We would recommend this hotel to our friends and families.

The hotel service is very good, and every detail is shown. The children had a lot of fun and will come again next time. There is unlimited supply of afternoon tea, coffee and snacks. The hot spring area is small but very comfortable. Breakfast and supper are delicious. The taste of the farmhouse is also very good.

Newly opened, very new facilities! There are welcome fruits! The equipment is very new! The laundry room washing machine and dryer are awesome! This is a good review! Apartment style, with basic utensils like plates and chopsticks, and the refrigerator is also very big! There is also a microwave! The downside is that it is understaffed and there is no service! The floor is very high and there are only two elevators, which are very congested during peak hours! The garbage in the corridor started to stink on the day we moved in, and no one cleaned it up for two days! The whole corridor smells like decay! I called three times to no avail! There were only three people at the front desk, and they seemed to be busy all the time. The deposit was only refunded after I called them! However, it is said that the service in Chaozhou generally receives bad reviews. I wonder if it is the same in other stores?

Excellent location right in the middle of the must-visit tourist location, Paifang Street.  Best service I’ve ever received anywhere around the globe that I’ve visited before, and I’ve been to many countries including the US, UK, Russia, Australia, Holland, South Korea, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, and different parts of China.  The hotel room has a modern contemporary look, like a bedroom in a good class bungalow, complete with a huge bathroom.  The staff communicates with you via WeChat, constantly checking on your needs and requests. They send fresh fruits every afternoon and soup in the evening.  I’ve enjoyed the stay so much that I’ve decided to cancel my booking at another hotel for my next trip to Chaozhou in 5 months, and stay at Jiangnan House again.

Environment: The environment is good and the stay is comfortable. I will come again next time. The location is very convenient. It is close to the exit of the subway station. There are also different restaurants and shopping malls suitable for business trips and tourism. There is a fish spa.

You can go to the hotel from the airport bus line no.6 (to Chaozhou ) at the bus station no.2(chihu bus station) and walk back about 150 meters, cross the road and you will see the hotel. The location was nice. They have the mall near hotel(Buliding A, B, C) and the KFC really close to the hotel and we enjoy about heytea and chagee too. Staff don’t speak english, but they use a translator for communicate us. They were nice and don’t hesitate to help us although we don’t understand for each other. The real lobby is on the 5th floor. The breakfast was great. They have a cook noodle so you can use 3 noodles for them cook. And the soup was great.!!! And they also have a congee, fried rice, some stir fried meatball and vegetable, dim sum, salad, yogurt and bread zone. It’s so various.
