I stay in Room 803. Room was spacious but the space between bed & TV cabinet was rather limited.
There is a round table in the room which is useful for a, a business traveller.
Room & bathroom were clean.
The mattress was comfortable too.
Breakfast was simple but fair. Not much of choices but covers both Western (bread, pastry, cereal, sausages) and Eastern (hot soap, dumpling, etc). Considering the price charges, I would give it at least a 4 star.
The restaurant was clean and the ambient was cozy too.
I will love to recommend it to my friends who is on business trip to CZ .
The location of the hotel is easy to find, with a large indoor parking lot, a children's play area on the first floor, and a complimentary heated swimming pool next door, which is great.
The room was clean and quiet. Maybe it was because I drove for a long time today and slept very soundly at night.
The hotel is very close to every attraction, and ordering takeout is also very convenient.
This was a very good trip. I will stay in this hotel next time I come to Chaozhou.

This is a ”low-key luxury, niche and local” hotel.
In the ancient city of Chaozhou, it is not difficult to find a unique B&B or hotel, but it is not easy to find one with Chaozhou cultural characteristics. Instead, you need to find the attentive service, environment and immersive experience of a five-star hotel. For a cultural experience, I believe there is only one Chaozhou Royal Hotel in Chaozhou.
Unlike ordinary Internet celebrity hotels, the hotel will not be open to non-hotel guests or restaurant guests. This is a good thing for guests because you will not see the entire lobby filled with tourists calling in. Starting from the hotel gate, you can completely separate yourself from the busy streets of the ancient city and enjoy another world.
Many people have already mentioned the thoughtful details of check-in, so I won’t go into details here. What particularly surprised me was the cultural experience arranged by the hotel. We stayed for three nights in total and participated in three different cultural experiences, including Teochew opera, colored porcelain experience and making red peach trees. They are not ordinary superficial experiences. The teachers in each project are representatives of the field. You can have in-depth communication with them and learn the foundation of Chaozhou traditional culture. It is particularly worth mentioning that the teacher of the Colored Porcelain Experience is a national-level intangible cultural heritage inheritor. I really benefited a lot from studying with him for a whole morning.
Another thing that must be mentioned is the hotel's breakfast provision. In addition to the breakfast that can be delivered to the room, there is also a taste-seeking tour with the hotel butler in the streets in the morning, which is a very down-to-earth gourmet experience.
So, even if the price seems not cheap, as long as you have stayed there, you will know that it is worth the money, because you are not just staying in a hotel, but in a living dictionary of Chaozhou culture!

Located in a mountain valley far away from the city, it is deserted and I dare not go out at night. It is too deserted and I feel like I am going to go bankrupt. It is called a hot spring hotel. I spent hundreds of dollars to stay but I couldn't take a hot spring bath (I need to buy a separate ticket). There are cockroaches crawling around in the room.

Although the room is not very large, the layout is reasonable. The facilities are highly intelligent, Xiaodu is responsive, and the light in the bathroom is too sensitive, and it lights up automatically with a little noise. The breakfast is not a buffet, and there is no choice of food, but the set meal prepared by the store is also sincere and slow, and there is no repetition in two days. Although the room rate is a little expensive, the service is really thoughtful. Before departure, we have contacted in advance to send a car to pick up and drop off at the station. The car is a luxury business car, and the butler or driver helps to carry the luggage throughout the journey.
The homestay is quite new, and I like the decoration style. The facilities are complete, hygienic and clean, the bathing area is separated into wet and dry areas, and there is a clock-in system. The venue is very large. It happened to rain when I went there, so I didn't get to experience the Kung Fu tea, which was a pity. Next time I have the chance to come to Chaozhou, I will choose this one!

A pearl in a humble alley, a very pleasant surprise, an exquisite shop! Very close to Yuan Road, only ten steps away from the main road, quiet in the bustling. As soon as we arrived, the housekeeper prepared sweet soup and invited us to eat. Extra beds can be added, suitable for parent-child travel, and there are many details for children. There is WiFi, not noisy, looks antique, and the bedding is clean

葛葛安杰Absolutely amazing, every little detail. The hotel is charming, beautifully designed and the rooms are spacious, with every convenience of modern living - better than a five star hotel in almost every way.
The staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful and have tons of very very good recommendations for restaurants and services. From drivers to rentals to the best things to see. The restaurants we tried on their recommendation were excellent. Far better quality than most on the walking street - I just wish we had more time to try them all - two days was not enough.
The rooms are perfect for two couples or a family, the bathroom has enough privacy, and they have very nice quality amenities. The air conditioners keep the room warm in winter, and the beds are very comfortable. You can also bring back food from outside to eat in the common courtyard.
Would very highly recommend this hotel if you are going to spend time in the old city. One of the best I have stayed at.

WW_HanFor its location and the exceptionally friendly and warm welcome I received during my stay, this place is not only value for money but also a place where I felt like I was staying at a friend's house. Mr Su and team made sure I knew how to navigate the alleys and streets to get around while providing me with information on attractions and food. I especially like staying in an alley where it's quiet and yet the main alley with all the local shops selling produce and snacks is just around the corner. The locals live and shop in this less touristy part of the old town.
Thank you Mr Su for upgrading me to a bigger room when it was available the next day. The water pressure on the third floor is strong with plenty of hot water. The auto flush toilet with seat warmer was also good to have. The air-conditioner is also strong enough to cool the room quickly. The disposable face and bath towels provided are thin. For those who are not used to using disposable towels, bring your own towels.

GGuest UserFacilities: New hotel, all facilities and services are very good
Hygiene: In place, I am allergic to dust mites, I didn't take anti-allergy medicine these two days but there was nothing unusual
Environment: The environment is good, there is a little problem that the facilities are too new, there is a little smell, open the window to dissipate, there is nothing behind. Also, I think the window can be opened too wide, the window on the 3rd floor is a little open, from the space point of view, there is a chance that someone can come in from outside.

HHeng Yen LinWe spent a total of 3 nights here. This is one of the most satisfactory hotels I have ever stayed in. The hotel is so clean and new. The basic facilities are all well equipped. I have stayed in multiple 5 stars hotels and this hotel is definitely comparable to those 5 stars. The location is superb. And the breakfast is so delicious with nicely brewed coffee. The staffs at the lobby are very friendly and helpful. I will definitely recommend my friends to stay in this hotel.

PPaul. SThe best part of this place is the location, right behind YUY Hotel at the junction of Paifang Street (Taiping Rd) and Xima Road. You can just walk a few minutes to Kaiyuan Temple, Guangji Gate and Guangji Bridge. At 5.30pm, they remove the pontoons in the middle of the bridge and at 8pm, there is a light show. Food is abundantly found in the surrounding streets. Access to this hotel is via the 2 lanes beside YUY Hotel from Paifang street or Xima Road. The boss and his wife communicate in Mandarin, so Google translate will come in handy. Before checking in, you need to inform the inn of the time of arrival so that the boss can meet you. We were given a key card and complete freedom to go in and out anytime. The place is quiet and very clean. It is also quite new. Amenities are good quality, towels and bedding all good. Perfect for an independent traveller. Hosts are friendly and helpful. There is a washing machine and place for drying clothes on the rooftop. If you come from Chaosan train station, take bus K2 and stop at the Central Hospital opposite West Lake and walk to the inn in about 10-15mins. Make sure you have WeChat installed in your phone to communicate with the host.

TTohDaraI had an amazing stay here! The location is outside of the ancient town but tucked away in a quiet street which I found very peaceful. The owner offered us to have tea and was very kind and friendly. When we arrived, they even sent us a list of recommended places to eat on wechat. Not many places do this and I appreciated the local recommendation for beef hotpot and other local finds! The breakfast was interesting, it was a meal at a nearby food store. This whole experience was very local and i loved it. The room was spacious and very cozy. They also had disposable towels which they replaced daily, but maybe it is a personal preference, I would much prefer a normal towel for better absorbancy. Regardless this homestay was still such a good experience. The rooftop is excellent for relaxing, and they even offer free tea in the room. Definitely what I needed after a long day of walking around to rest and relax.
Lastly, i hesitated to book this because i thought it would be better to book something in the ancient city, but the experience was so good, i have no regrets! Definitely will book here again, the homestay owners are the best hosts!

NNuosenbotangshiThe outdoor environment is normal! It feels almost like living in a garden building, nothing special. The weather is so bad that it feels like there is no wind if you want to go out for a walk, and the sun is everywhere! The room is not smelly! There are a lot of little cockroaches! The stainless steel floor drain is very dirty! I dare not take pictures. There are a lot of mosquitoes in the room, but it's not surprising. It is more in the mountains, but the outdoors are not quite like the mountains... The health system is unprofessional... If you really want to make a name, it is recommended to change people
