Pretty sure this used to be a 7days Inn. Shower door was missing in my room (the bolts where the hinges attached were still there). One of the AC outlets didn't work. Bed was hard as a rock. One of the girls at the front desk was a bit snobbish & rude. All other staff were very nice though.

As it is written inside the bracket, 'Chaozhou Ancient City', it misleads one to think that it is 'inside' the Ancient City' itself, but once one finds out that it is not, one becomes very disappointed! Cleanliness is acceptable, location is far from the centre of attraction - the 'Ancient City & the Guangji Bridge'. The service is good, the staff is friendly, and the amenity is good.

The hotel's bedrooms were just too small for us being travellers from overseas. We selected this hotel for an overnight stay based on reports from Youtubes claiming that there are good restaurants and markets nearby. However it is too bad that some road construction activity is going on now near the hotel.
