I enjoyed my stay at the Dolton and felt the location was pretty central to all the attractions I wanted to see. I thought the hotel was good value and the breakfast was decent. The rooms are a little dated but still comfortable. It was pretty quiet and I enjoyed the nice warm room and shower after cold days in Changsha. I was disappointed that many of the amenities were closed and only found out when I went to use the pool. I'm sure if I spoke Chinese someone would have told me. Most areas of the hotel are non smoking but some areas smell quite smoky. My room was fine but even in areas where there was non smoking signs men were lighting up. For covid requirements the Changsha health code works best and they did ask for a negative covid test once I checked in. The rules in Changsha overall seem relaxed for mask enforcement and many people were using the breakfast buffet and walking around the hotel without masks.

There is a subway near the hotel that goes directly to Changsha Huanghua Airport. It is also close to May Day Square, which makes travel very convenient. It was lunchtime when I arrived at the hotel and I was a little hungry. I smelled the aroma of roasted sweet potatoes in the hotel lobby, but I thought they needed to be purchased. I didn't expect them to be free. The service of Xiao Wang at the front desk was good and the check-in process was fast. The hotel rooms were clean and tidy, and the price/performance ratio was very high. It is a very good hotel.

Checked in on Sat 28th before my fiancé to arrange some things like wedding flowers, decorations etc. Katrina at reception was absolutely fantastic. She followed up on the requests I had and verified the Trip.com staff information which was sent earlier. She was extremely friendly, kind, thoughtful, diligent, and professional - a real asset to IHG. She took care of everything. She arranged the decorations to be done after we left for marriage registration so when I got back it would all be ready for my wife. The facilities and service like the 1st floor all day dining restaurant, the Sky27 bar and Intercontinental club on the 27th floor, were wonderful. The Latin band (Cuban / Colombian duo) were magnificent and quite friendly ✊ Breakfast boxes were arranged for our early departure on 31st. The taxi was ordered and promptly arrived ahead of time to collect us. Hotel staff checked if I was an IHG member and applied my discounts where relevant. Breakfast buffet and all day a La carte dining was wonderful. Shopping mall access through the hotel lobby is easily accessible and quite convenient. All in all, it was a marvellous few days at Intercontinental Changsha.

If you come to Changsha for tourism, I recommend staying at Sheraton Hotel. First of all, the location is very good. It takes about ten minutes to get to Exit 4 of Furong Square Station on Metro Line 2. It is a relatively quiet place. The hotel is well-equipped. There is a small bar downstairs where you can have a drink at night. The hotel restaurant, fitness room, and swimming pool are all available. I recommend the buffet restaurant on the third floor. The food is very delicious. Buddha jumps over the wall and pan-fried foie gras must be eaten. The room you booked was given two free drinks, and you can choose Starbucks or Cha Yan Yue Se. At around 8 o'clock in the evening, a waiter came to the room to deliver fruit. In the morning, a cleaner came to ask when the room could be cleaned. Everyone greeted with a smile and had a good service attitude. The room provides free purified water and a capsule coffee machine for use. Overall, it is cost-effective. I will definitely choose Sheraton again next time I come to Changsha. Two cups of Starbucks coffee service: Cha Yan Yue Se can be selected Sheraton IP bear doll: Such a cute bear, super good quality, a good souvenir.

The room was the same as the hotel picture, and the hygiene and location were very good, but the food and beverages were average, the late-night porridge was frozen, and the breakfast was average. What’s great is their self-service laundry! Will stay again if I come to Changsha!

The room is really nice and comfy. The breakfast is very delicious with lots of options. The swimming pool has a sauna and steam room. I think the location in Changsha is very good because it is not too busy during the national holiday and it is close to Changshanan station. You can get anywhere in the city you want very quickly and there is a metro station beside the hotel. There are a lot of staff here who are very helpful and speak English very well ~ Stacy is very nice at the front desk.

We stayed at the Kempinski for two nights and were pleasantly surprised when they upgraded our room to a higher category upon arrival. The room had a bath and all the necessary amenities. The staff was friendly and welcoming, although there were some language challenges. They made an effort to help with translation apps when needed. The room service was expensive, even for local Chinese cuisine. If you order food from outside, you have to pick it up in the lobby as they don't offer room delivery. The lobby restroom was dirty and needs improvement. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with the unexpected room upgrade and friendly staff. 👍

It was nice of them to change my day the day before I stayed in due to the delay. They also changed my room when I didn't expect my friend to join for a few days, they also managed to help me change the room for a few days and I appreciated it. This is a glorified 4 star hotel. Other than the location, you will be disappointed with the overall hotel experience. It lacks the attention to detail to be a true 5 star hotel experience. A couple of examples; non-smoking rooms being ruined by smokers, the rainforest shower (top mounted shower head) didn’t work and was just an unpleasant drizzle, air-conditioning that just had a mind of its own with no ability to adjust to desired temperature, the bed being somehow both firm and soft. If you are accustomed to chain hotels, then the attention to detail at the Niccolo is missing!

The entire accommodation experience was beyond expectations, from the welcome afternoon tea, supper to the hearty breakfast, from the hotel travel photography to the luggage delivery to the airport, from the hotel gardening design to the interior decoration style, all aspects were very satisfactory. The hotel is located in the city center, Huangxing Street, a 4-5 minute walk away. It is designed to be quiet in the bustling city. A tea drink coupon was also given upon check-out. I can be sure that I will stay here again in Changsha in the future. It is especially recommended for couples and families with children to experience it.

The hotel as a whole makes people feel comfortable and warm. The service center team is great. The service center's Xiaoyuer Yancy and Lucky provide timely service and warmly wish my mother a happy birthday. The guest manager also specially helped to prepare a birthday cake. In addition, the lobby on the 35th floor of the hotel is also very beautiful. I slept very comfortably for 3 nights. I will choose to stay here next time I come to Changsha~

I chose this B&B because of its good environment, and it didn't disappoint me. The weather in Changsha has been good these days, and the sunset here is super beautiful. The newly built Qingshui Terrace is very suitable for watching the sunrise and sunset. The B&B facilities are also very complete, with Chinese and Western restaurants, and two large shopping malls next to it. There is no worry about food, accommodation and entertainment. The housekeeper's service is very enthusiastic. He started calling to send the location from the high-speed rail pick-up, and also introduced some fun things in the surrounding area and Changsha City. It was a very good accommodation experience

Luxury afternoon tea: Afternoon tea has cakes, nuts, fruits, various drinks and coffee. I really can't eat it all. I love the hotel's homemade fruit tea. It can be seen that it is very attentive. Breakfast is selected one day in advance every day and delivered to the room in the morning. I stayed for three days and it was different every day. It was exquisite and delicious and could be added unlimitedly. Service: It was so thoughtful and responsive. It really cared about everything. In the end, both of us were a little embarrassed. If I come to Changsha again, I will still choose 6500. The ceiling of Changsha Hotel is better than Park Hyatt. I am very satisfied.

I have been to Changsha for many times, and this is my first time staying at St. Regis. It is a dimensional strike against other luxury hotels! 1. Butlers' service is not inferior to the butler service of major luxury resort hotels overseas. 2. Real five-star bedding, you can sleep well all night. 3. The hardware facilities are classic and artistic. I want to emphasize the butler service here. Because it was my boyfriend's birthday, the butler Yanny contacted me in advance before arriving at Changsha South Station to confirm the arrival time of the hotel, and arranged the room for us, including birthday cake and rose bubble bath in the bathtub, and carefully sent the surrounding food and travel recommendations. Because we arrived late, there were 24-hour drinks after supper, and they helped me deliver takeout to the room at more than three o'clock in the morning, and WeChat messages were replied in seconds. The next day we got up late, and after lunch, we returned to the room. The butler kitty not only considerately checked out for us two hours later, but also delayed the check-out time to four o'clock after I mentioned that I was a Marriott member, and after another communication, we enjoyed a beautiful lunch break with ease and pleasure. Next time I come to Changsha, I will no longer go to the two hotels in IFS. I will just go to St. Regis.
