Sheraton Changsha Hotel Reviews

A very well kept established hotel with large room , clean, impressive toiletries ( Appelles brand ), excellently located to main tourist spots.Though Changsha is a place full of wonderful food ( chilli drenched fish head), there is a McDonald next door (just in case). The hotel staff also very polite and very kind in giving us free goodies bag ( full of local famous Hunan snacks) and by booking with Trip.com, was offered free most famous Local Bubble tea Cha Yan Yue Se 茶颜悦色 delivered to room. We had a very pleasant stay here, the room was clean and the service was excellent. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of dishes available. The pool and steam room were great, but why does ping pong cost 150元?

Hotel is in a great location. Only a few km from major tourist locations such as pedestrian street, Orange Isle and the mountain. Service was great. Room was clean and met the booking requirements. Only suggestion to the hotel would be to replace the carpeting outside the rooms in the hallways. Super stained on my floor and makes the hotel look a little dilapidated. Overall would stay there again.

The hotel is located not really close to subway station but it’s good to have a walk up to downtown and also quite close to the museum. Several shops and restaurants around the hotel and there’s a big shopping mall nearby which has cafes and a supermarket. For me as a not fluent Chinese speaker, Mark Gong at the front desk helped me in English with everything. The room was quite clean, comfortable and well designed. I enjoyed bathing every morning and night to relax. It was such a pleasant stay! Would like to come back.

Very enjoyable stay and a vet good hotel to stay in.

When traveling with children, it is very important to have a comfortable stay. The room type was chosen by the children themselves, and they were pleasantly surprised. The room was decorated in a warm and childlike manner, and the bed was large, which was enough for a family of three. The service was also very good. They gave us two cups of Starbucks and the hotel IP bear, which was very cute. When we checked in, we also gave us a twist to win a gift, which was full of ritual. We asked for an extra quilt, which was delivered quickly. The bedding was also very comfortable, and I had a good sleep. The hotel has a rich variety of breakfasts, both Chinese and Western, which was a great experience.

Very good stay experience. There is a lucky draw event during the May Day stay. I heard from the staff that there will be such activities during the Spring Festival, National Day, Dragon Boat Festival and Mid-Autumn Festival. Free tea and coffee upon check-in. The hotel room is on the side facing the city view, which is relatively quiet. The location is good and convenient. The hotel called in advance to confirm the itinerary and arranged a butler to contact us on WeChat. Two cups of Tea Yan Yue Se were given upon check-in. You can choose the flavor yourself and agree with the butler to have it delivered to the room. The check-in gift is a customized bear and local small cakes. Welcome fruit was also given in the evening. There was also a lucky draw during the May Day holiday, but unfortunately I didn't get the bear that my child had been thinking about. I only got a puzzle, which was a little disappointing. The hotel rooms are spacious and clean, the service is warm, the facilities are not outdated, the bathroom has instant hot water, and it is very comfortable to live in. Although the price is not cheap, it is very cost-effective. I recommend staying here!

You can participate in the lottery if you stay on May Day, and I won the spicy slices I had always wanted. The hotel has a good location, complete facilities, clean and hygienic. The staff is enthusiastic and gave the children IP bears. It is suitable for family travel. Recommended to stay!

The hotel is just a short walk from Changsha South Station and you can take the subway line 2 to the hotel. It is very convenient to go to May Day Square, the museum, Orange Island, Du Fu Jiangge, and Yuelu Mountain. The hotel facilities are OK, and the service is very thoughtful. Tea Yan Yue Se and a bear doll were given as gifts. I also thank the butler Arm. I had a great trip and will come to Changsha again in a while.
