Soft cotton bedding and blankets will keep you cozy, as well as newly added mini-split ac/heat added to both bedrooms. Dogs are allowed with a $75 pet fee (the yard is great for dogs!). Getting around:Like most mountain homes, our driveway is steep, be cautious and all will be fine. The driveway is a sharp turn to the right and has a steep incline. Two vehicles fit at the top of the drive with an additional parking spot halfway up the drive. Winter Road Conditions- Weather conditions in the mountains can be unpredictable. Sometimes rain, fog, snow, sleet, or ice create unexpected and hazardous driving conditions - especially during the colder months of November - April. Since road conditions may become hazardous during your stay, an All-wheel drive, 4-wheel drive vehicle and/or chains and the ability to drive on snow and ice are strongly recommended to get to and from the property and surrounding areas. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO ARRIVE FULLY PREPARED and there will be NO refunds, allowances, or date changes resulting from your negligence in this matter. The cabin’s driveway will be salted/ cleared at Owner’s discretion. We love our family business and there are no chores at check-out, so you can relax!Our home is also close to Westglow, less than 5 minutes to the BRP/Price Lake/Moses Cone, and .3 mile to the Asutsi trailhead which connects you to ALL east side trails of Grandfather Mountain and is the only access point for these trails in winter.Mountain Flower Hideaway is a dream come true in every sense! It is a beautiful, amenity-rich cabin that provides guests both seclusion and a fabulous location minutes to Blowing Rock, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Boone and all of the treasures of the High Country.
