I had a reservation for December 25th-26th. Upon arrival, we realized we wanted to stay for another day. I asked the front desk if they had any rooms available for the night of the 26th-27th. We were told no, but they would let us know if anything opened up. I went online and booked a room for the night of the 26th-27th five minutes after we were told we couldn’t. The next day (26th) I asked the front desk if there was any way for me to keep the same room as I was in. I was told no. I asked if there’s any way for me to check out and immediately check in to the new room, since I didn’t want to have to carry all my stuff down to my car through the snow and keep it there until check in. I was told no. I didn’t fuss since I understand that may make it harder on the housekeepers and I didn’t want to inconvenience them. I checked in on the 26th and we were given THE SAME EXACT ROOM we were in the night before. We could’ve stayed in the same room and we didn’t need to carry all of our stuff down to the parking lot just to bring it back up. I expressed my concern to the girl at the front desk and she was very confused as to why I was lied to three times at this point. She was very nice and had nothing to do with the situation. This was the first time I had seen her. The girl who checked me in on the 25th was there and explained that the whole thing was “a misunderstanding.” Her telling me that there were no rooms when there clearly were was “a misunderstanding”? Being told I couldn’t keep my room and later being given the same exact room was “a misunderstanding”? Being made to check out and check back in to the same room was “a misunderstanding”? Sounds more like poor work ethic and lack of care from the staff.

We had a great check-in experience with Ethan. He was very helpful. We had frozen ice packs and he offered to put them in the freezer in the kitchen. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast had a large selection. The location was very convenient.

Quality Inn & Suites Boone - University Area

We stayed here 3 nights while on vacation. The hotel is atop a hill next to one other hotel. It is just on the outskirts of town and conveniently located to many attractions. It is obvious they are working on remodeling the place, we had a nice room with a fireplace, couch and table to eat. Our a/c - heater wasn't the greatest but that is really the only negative here. Breakfast was pre-packaged microwaveable sandwiches, which were just fine for us and there was juice and coffee and fresh fruit. The staff were all friendly and it was pretty quiet also.

This courtyard hotel is a bit nicer then the standard courtyards. The lobby is clean and new with lots of nice sitting spots. We were upgraded to a room with a balcony (gold elite). The staff was very helpful, our room seemed newer as well. Good location near ASU and lots of stores and restaurants within a short drive.
