I have stayed at the Chateau before and it is good value as well as being an interesting building with many artistic features, there is also an outside pool. Generally, it’s clean but the rooms are a little dusty. The staff are helpful but on my previous stay the restaurant was shut due to staff problems. It was a disappointment but gave it a second chance. However, having booking again, I was told on arrival that the restaurant was not open on Mondays or Tuesdays. Please don’t be fooled by websites as every one I found stated that it was open on these days, so it’s a must to take this into account if you’ve had a long drive and do not want to dine out, you may well want to think again. It does seem to be under staffed as it can be difficult to find anyone if you would like an evening drink.
You would either have to drive fifteen or so minutes into Macon where there are plenty of restaurants or if you prefer a village, drive in the other direction for less than ten minutes and there is a small restaurant next to the station called ‘Aux Dix Vins’ which I recommend and it’s open on Mondays and Tuesdays. The menu and quality is good, with some nice wines to accompany the food and the owner cares about how it’s run.

This hotel is run by fraudsters. They deliberately double charge for already prepaid reservation. They pretend it’s a mistake and tell you they’ll make a refund. They never make a refund and will ignore any request or email. I advise everyone to be extra cautious if you do end up staying here!

Last minute booking as didn’t want to stay in a standard chain hotel Beautiful chateau and grounds with quirky but lovely internal decor and art. Staff very attentive and helpful. Good and safe off-road parking. Would definitely visit again.

This is a lovely property with a lovely terrace , pool and good restaurant. Reception was warm and the lady speaks excellent English as does Louisa who was so kind. We stayed two nights and would have stayed a third but they were booked. We ate both nights in the restaurant. Free parking on site. Room was nicely decorated and we had a big bathroom . They have a lift. I would definitely recommend this for your next getaway.

Quelle déception ! Une bâtisse magnifique gâchée par une décoration intérieure inadéquate. Le domaine n'est pas entretenu à sa juste valeur. Le ménage dans les chambres laisse à désirer. Insonorisation inexistante, réveil à 3h du matin par des voisins de chambre indélicats. Seules l'équipe et la cuisine tirent leur épingle du jeu. Les prestations ne sont pas en corrélation avec les tarifs affichés.

Trés belle adresse à proximité de champs de vignes. Suites superbes et agancées avec gout. Mix de rustique et contemporin. Prix en rapport avec le confort et la superficie de la chambe. Accueil trés sympathique et pas surjoué. Salle de Restaurant trés agreable par son atmosphere chaleureuse et sa taille reduite. Repas de trés bon rapport quantité, qualité, prix. Bon choix au buffet du petit dejeuner. Adresse notée pour y revenir.

A notre arrivée, nous constatons que les extérieurs sont fortement négligés. Nous avons réservé une suite ( à 169€ ). Grosse déception, c'est juste une très grande chambre ! Rien pour se poser ( juste un fauteuil dans un coin ) il y a pourtant toute la place pour une table et deux chaises ou même un salon ! Pas de frigo, les boissons sont posées sur un meuble ! Cependant la literie est de très bonne qualité ! La SDB n'est pas chauffée, le WC fuit abondamment, et summum, la fenêtre qui donne sur les dépendances à l'arrière et sur le parking du personnel est très grande mais ne dispose ni de store ou de rideau ... Bonjour l'intimité !!! Le restaurant : il y fait froid, les tables sont dépourvues de toute décoration ( napes, sets de table, fleurs, bougies ... ) On nous a apporté un amuse bouche encore congelé au centre, nos entrées sont arrivées froides, nous les avons remballées, et sont revenues à peine tièdes, pareil pour les plats ! Et en plus aucun intérêts gustatif, vraiment très médiocre ! Le personnel est très très jeune et manque totalement de professionnalisme !!! Le petit déjeuner : personnel absent, mais nous constatons qu'il faut aller se servir dans le bar de l'autre coté de la réception. Il y a bien des oeufs mais plus de bacon, le saumon fumé et la salade de fruits virent au brun ! les viennoiseries sont des surgelés ! Par contre, il y a une très belle collection d'œuvre d'art, ainsi que de toiles d'araignées. Pour clôturer le tout : notre note ne nous a jamais été envoyée comme promis ! QUID
