This was our first time that we’ve stayed at a Country Inn & Suites. We were able to get our requested room ADA with king bed plus a BONUS! We had a whirlpool too. It felt s good after a long day of traveling and sightseeing. The room was spacious and the beds very comfortable. Check in was easy and the breakfast filling. They even had fresh cookies available at check in and check out. Front desk staff were very friendly. Give them a try if you are in the area.

We found bed bugs in our bed. The manager would not acknowledge that it happened because he didn’t see it. He said people make things up so he can’t believe me. He also walked into our room without knocking on the door. I will never stay there again. So disrespectful. You always trust the guest and say sorry, we’ll make it right but he would not budge.

The continental breakfast was delicious and had so many options, hot and cold. I can’t say enough about the variety of food, especially as someone who needs gluten free diet. The coffee was good. Complimentary cookies located at the desk at all times of day, which was a nice touch. The hospitality was great and the staff were friendly. The rooms are spacious. There was a little noise from the highway behind the building, but we brought a fan along, which helped drown it out. The beds were a bit uncomfortable and bed frames were squeaky. Otherwise, we found the rooms to be clean and fit our needs for this one night stay. We would certainly stay here again.

Aneesa. made my stay very pleasant. The entire staff here goes out of their way to accommodate all the guests. The rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable. Easy parking, close to local attractions and the coffee was always on.

They required a 24 hour notice to get trash emptied and towels replaced. Despite giving 24 hours notice, my room was never cleaned and I had to request towels at the front desk. Normally not a problem, but I have a baby and there were dirty diapers in the room the whole stay. Others clearly had the same issue as the trash cans near the vending machine were constantly overflowing with trash bags stacked next to them. The keys stopped working multiple times and the counter never had an employee at it until they were called on the phone. All relatively minor problems, but made for a frustrating stay. Please bring back cleaning the rooms more than between stays!

My stay was great! Sarah, at the front desk, has great hospitality and made my stay feel more inviting. The only thing I would have to deduct a star for is the cleanliness. The bathroom needed more attention, the shower head didn’t stay upright, and the bathroom was flooding due to the shower. I did not bring this to the hotels attention as I just cleaned up the bathroom myself. Other than that, my stay was peaceful. Thanks again, Sarah! Again, you have great customer service and I appreciate your communication throughout my stay!

We visit Cedar Falls yearly with our High School Trapshooting Club and always choose this location for our stay. The rooms are updated and always cleaned to our satisfaction. The beds are comfortable and the HVAC is actually simple to use unlike some hotel rooms. The bathroom was nice and clean however the shower floor could use a recoating. The pool area is nice however could use updated tables due to cracked glass tops that are only taped together. For the cost of a few new tables, it would definitely improve the look/safety of the room. The complimentary breakfast was above average for this price range. Breakfast usually starts at 7am however due to needing to leave in the morning earlier than breakfast start time for our event, the hotel has accommodated our group on a yearly basis by moving up the start time! Staff is always pleasant and would definitely recommend!

Have stayed at this hotel many times prior to Covid and a few times post Covid. Location is very good, across from park, near food establishments. Rooms were updated a few years ago, and are clean. Lobby furniture needs some updating: dusty and coffee table top is very worn. Breakfast is decent, with a large sitting area. Manager Rex( we met during our last several stays) is very friendly and will assist with any issue. Pool area: the last several stays, the hot tub has not been functional: not sure why this has not been repaired. There are 2 outdoor tables with chairs in the pool area. These tables both have a glass top that is held together with tape. This seems dangerous. When we spoke to manager Rex, he was aware of situation, stated he had notified the corporate office, but no new tables had been delivered. The table situation had not changed in our last several stays, so BE Aware, and Be careful in that area.
