The Lex Hotel is an outstanding but very affordable hotel located in Cebu City in the Philippines. You can perfectly plan to stay one or two nights of your holidays in this place to enjoy all the landmarks and activities around the hotel. It is a typical city hotel, not bad for the price. The staff are friendly and rooms have all the amenities including air conditioning, free wifi, toiletries, towels, hair dryer, toothbrush, shampoo and soap. The hotel has a great outdoor swimming pool at the rooftop with great views to the city. The hotel is surrounded by plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars within 10 min or less walking distance.

I booked the hotel for its location, relatively big (third party) gym with free access for hotel guests) and being able to work during my stay. Unfortunately the gym only fulfilled its promise to a certain extent. Some machines were broken or overdue for repair, others were in a bad state. Beside that there was no instructor available when needed at both times I went to the gym. The other big complaint is about the slow WiFi speed in the room. I was not able to work properly and had to use the business center which offered a decent internet speed. Beside that I would have wished for better air conditioning which is quite old. Overall my stay was alright incl. the kind and helpful service.

A suggestion for improvement - to strengthen the rules in the pool especially to foreigners. My little kids were there swimming and they both asked why those young foreigners were not following the rules, they must be kicked out from the pool. Pity was the attendant who kept on reminding them.

Amazing hotel not far from the airport and in the middle of the city centre with easy access to the main mall. The staff are extremely kind and I loved the stay. The bed was so comfortable and the view from the hotel is so good. The breakfast buffet was so good and full of different variety of foods. I loved the stay and highly recommend this place. There was a food sized gym and a pool as well.

The location is good. The ground floor is the parking area with a small entrance to the elevators. The actual lobby is on the 2nd floor but the entrance on the street always has at least one guard if you need assistance. The street level not being the lobby also makes space for an on site 7 Eleven, which is convenient. The Christmas tree decoration on the window in the photo highlights 'Metro'- this is the department store entrance to the Ayala mall, obviously walking distance. Even closer, on the ground floor of the tower on the right is a handy Starbucks.

As the regular patron for this hotel due to their close proximity to the port area and mybus that service toward airport and close to SM mall, few changes has been notices, if your 2 person and had a breakfast you need both to go down in person can no longer pack 1 portion for your sleeping companion that lady in the restaurant is very unpolite. Check in process still not very fast and easy limited house cleaner as it take too long before can clean. They request 1000 pesos for deposit. this hotel has been very crowded now, kids running outside the room and screaming. The bed is good firm comfortable and soft pillows, spacious room bidet in the bathroom, the food is not very appeticing but a few selection.

The hotel is old but it still has a lot of value for its price especially if you are on a limited budget. The staff are very friendly and accommodating to my request like ironing equipment. The location of the hotel is also its advantage since it is very accessible and taxis are plenty at any time of the day.

Hotel wasn’t horrible but I just think I came at wrong time. Hotel needs a little renovation done to brighten up pool areas. They were a bit run down. While I was staying there I barely had hot water. And when water did work the pressure was low. Besides that, the room was pretty clean and modern. The service staff were good. The door man and door people were friendly. They had a nice gym with almost every machine,a spa, mini ****** and a restaurant in the building. You can get your laundry done for very cheap in tower 2 of the building. Overall it was decent if you are passing through cebu. The location is pretty good because you are next to a lot in city. But it is very busy when you exit hotel.

Al south seas è come sentirsi a casa. Il personale è stupendo, Sonny, Lorie e tutto lo staff sono semplicemente umani, cordiali e super carini. Abbiamo organizzato con loro lo spostamento dall'aeroporto di Cebu fino a Santader, 4h e mezza di viaggio trascorse in un comodo van ad un prezzo buono. La struttura è molto accogliente, le camere sono ampie e molto pulite. Dispongono tutte di un tavolino esterno con sedie. La struttura inoltre dispone di una piscina e accesso diretto alla spiaggia. Il cibo è ottimo! Dalla Colazione alla cena, i prezzi sono davvero molto onesti. La posizione in cui è situato è senza dubbio strategica, a pochi minuti da Oslob ( circa 15/20 min) per il whale shark watching e a 2h di van da Moalboal per la Sardine Run & Pescador Island. Abbiamo organizzato direttamente con loro tutte le nostre gite, facendo immersioni: ottima organizzazione e grande attenzione a tutti gli ospiti sulla barca sia quelli che hanno fatto diving, sia per chi ha preferito fare snorkeling. Santander è una cittadina molto tranquilla, dovessi tornarci senza dubbio tornerei in questa struttura.
